I'm Julie, your French Petsitter
I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them in the Champagne Region (France), and I finally moved to California three years ago after spending a decade living in Australia, South Africa, and China. Shortly after settling in, I adopted my little Charlie, who has brought endless joy into my life ever since. Charlie is my constant companion—we go everywhere together! He’s a big fan of the ocean, enjoys snacking on yogurt, loves playing with other dogs, and even enjoys chasing those pesky squirrels. Charlie also loves having friends over, and we often care for dogs belonging to friends. As we welcome the new year, we’re excited to make even more furry friends!

Julie was amazing and if I could give more than five stars I would! She has the perfect spot for what every dog loves! My pup got to play in a creek with Julie’s sweet dog Charlie and had a blast all day long. She returned to us exhausted and happy, which is just what we wanted after our spa day. We had never used this service before, but we will definitely keep Julie in mind when we return to Calistoga.
I couldn't have been more pleased with Julie! This was my 1st rover experience and I was a bit nervous. When my anxious pup took to her and her home pretty immediately, I relaxed and was able to enjoy some alone time by the pool on my "solo" birthday vacation. Julie is a gem!
Julie is GREAT! She’s proactive, a great communicator, super sweet, and takes amazing care of my pup, Archer. She always sends a lot of pics to put me at ease and for our enjoyment! 😊 Highly recommend Julie for your pet care needs!

I’ve had the pleasure of living with Julie for some time, and I can confidently say that she is incredibly loving and attentive to her dog, Charlie, who is well-behaved and clearly well-cared for. I’ve also witnessed Julie’s interactions with other dogs, and she shows the same level of responsibility and kindness toward them. She genuinely cares about each pet she looks after. Schedule
Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. Every day starts with morning walks in the vineyard and plenty of playtime with Charlie, ensuring he gets the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Throughout the day and depending on work needs, I make time for meals, treats, and cuddles, incorporating his care seamlessly into my schedule. On weekends, I prioritize longer adventures like beach trips, hikes, or visits to dog parks, where Charlie can socialize and explore. I also enjoy caring for friends’ dogs, so having extra pups around is a natural extension of my routine.

When pets stay with me, they become part of the family. They have plenty of space to relax, play, and explore. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions are part of the routine. My dog, Charlie, loves making new friends, so visiting pets always have a buddy to keep them company. I maintain a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they feel at ease and cared for.

A typical day
I always make sure dogs have an enjoyable and enriching experience depending on their preferences and needs. It often includes: Engaging games, walks and adventures like running in the vineyard or exploring parks, or even short hikes for dogs that love the outdoors. I use treats for training, give a lot of cuddles to pets who enjoy snuggles, I'll provide plenty of affection and comfort.
