“Good communication and reliable. Madison has been taking excellent care of my doggo 🙂”

About: I have taken care and owned dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I have always loved animals and have experience with all sizes and ages. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to watch, feed and check on their pets while they are away. I always make sure their pets are safe, happy and getting everything they need! I have had senior dogs and more recently puppies as well, so I have trained and worked with all ages. I am a mom of 3 and I currently have 4 pets, so I am used to caring for others. I started my own photography business in Midland, so I get to make my schedule and hours from home. A flexible schedule allows me to be open for drop-in visits. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to have a safe environment for your pet when you are away from the home. Pets are family and I want to help keep them safe, happy and cared for while you are away. If you have any special needs or a pet needs extra attention, let me know so I can give them the care they need!

About: I'm a stay-at-home mom of two-legged babies and fur babies . I have a big fenced-in yard where the pups can run and play. We will leave the door open when it's cool out so they can come a go as they want. I have 2 German shepherds myself and grew up with dogs, so theres not much I can't handle. We can play ball or just sit on the couch and snooze the day away. Pup must be OK with kids, the loud noises that the kids make and must up to date on shots/ vaccinations. Crate trained is a plus, but not a must and no aggressive behaviors are allowed. If you have any questions please ask me and I will respond in a timely manner. I'm currently a stay at home mom of 2 kids. I'm trying to get back out into the world force and thought rover would a good way to start with for the flexibility. I have a fenced back yard to run and with a big deck so if sunbathing is your pups thing they will be happy. I also have trees that prove shade if they like to nap under the trees.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and the day I moved out of my parents house I’ve always had a dog as well. We have had our current dog Champ for 6 years and Reina for 4 years. I also have previous experience with working as a vet tech at an office and also volunteering for shelters All About Animals, Streethearts and Genesee County Animal Shelter. We are also the “go to” dog sitters for our entire family and friends. We regularly watch my mom’s Aussie doodle, sisters 3 basset hounds, and our friends husky. Our dog Champ also had a condition called idiopathic epilepsy, where he has seizures occasionally. My wife and I are very well versed in noticing the signs of an upcoming seizure and how to handle them, as well as administer medications if needed, if your furry friend also has a condition where this happens, we are your people! Currently I work days and my wife works nights, so there is always someone home no matter what. Our schedules are made to be opposite so someone is always home with our son. We have a fenced in yard and 2 playful, happy dogs who love making new friends. We even can accommodate if your dog needs to be in a crate, or maybe doesn’t like being around other animals, we can separate them if need be. Our dogs get walked daily down to the local park and back and get let outside for potty breaks at least every 2 hours, and sometimes in the middle of the night if I get up with our baby for any reason.

About: Hello! With over 15 years of dedicated experience in dog sitting and pet care, I am passionate about ensuring that every dog I look after feels safe, happy, and loved. Throughout the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior and needs. I pride myself on creating a nurturing environment tailored to each dog's unique personality, whether they require gentle coaxing during playtime or a calm, quiet space to relax. I’m always happy to take walks or explore local parks for some extra adventure. I prioritize exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of belly rubs! I’m also well-versed in administering medications and managing specific dietary needs, ensuring your pup's health and happiness. (As my own dogs take medications and have dietary restrictions). Your dog will receive personalized attention, and I’m committed to maintaining their routine as closely as possible to ease any separation anxiety. I truly believe that every dog deserves to feel like a member of the family! I am available in the evenings throughout the week and most weekends. I work in Midland so I am also available to check on your dogs during my hour lunch break. I am also available to take your dog for a walk or to a nearby park. We live on almost an acre of land down a very quiet road. We use an electric fencing system for our own. Your dog will never be left alone.

About: Hi there! I bring a lifetime of experience caring for all kinds of animals - from horses and chickens to cats, dogs, birds, and pocket pets. During my 13-year career as a veterinary technician, I developed deep expertise in animal care. Now that I work remotely, I have more flexibility to share my passion and knowledge by helping other pet parents care for their furry family members. At home, my husband and I have our own little menagerie: a goofy Rottweiler and two sweet cats (both of whom found their way to us through my work at veterinary hospitals). I absolutely love spending my free time taking long walks with our Rottie through the beautiful parks around Midland and Freeland, and playing with her in our backyard. I'd be thrilled to provide that same dedicated care and attention to your pets too! I own my business which is ran remotely so I’m in control of my schedule:) I am able to be flexible on my daily routine to make time for your pet. I’ll follow your guidelines on how you want your pet cared for and handled in your home and on walks. During the warmer months, I’ll offer off leach time, with my friendly pooch in our 1/2 acre fenced yard as well if this interest you and your pet is social & enjoys playing outside.

About: Hello, my name is Alana and I am so glad you have considered me to watch your fur baby! For over a decade I have taken care of almost every animal under the sun including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, cows, and so many more! What sets me aside from others is my love for all animals, and my dedication to ensuring their needs are met. Currently, I attend Saginaw Valley and am slowly earning my bachelors degree in social work. I also work within the public school system with individuals with disabilities. My schedule works perfectly for individuals looking for drop in’s every 6-8 hours or if you are looking for an overnight sitter. If your pet requires more frequent visits, I would suggest contacting a sitter who can accommodate this. When taking care of your fur babies, their safety and mine is always my number one priority. In order to maintain a safe environment, I suggest that we schedule a meet and greet before the day of the service request. This way your pet will know me, easing some tension when you are gone. Furthermore, when in your home I ensure that I remain calm and follow directions as laid out by you in order to fulfill your pets needs.

“Emerson took care of my Terrier/Chihuahua 4 x a day for a week while I cared for a family member who had surgery out of state. My dog is kind of a handful because she needs medicine twice a day and she takes a while to get used to people. But right away as soon as I met Emerson and saw how she interacted with my dog, I felt like she had the experience and skill to care for her. Because I need someone that will care for her and walk and feed her. And as the week went by and I received her daily check-in‘s, I thought more and more about my son‘s health and didn’t worry about my baby girl doggy at home. This was a big relief for me so I’m very grateful to Emerson and the Rover.com app which makes it easy to see when she was fed, walks and other daily activities.”

About: I am 25 years old and have been pet sitting/dog walking since I was 14 years old! I have a sweet 5-year-old kitty of my own, Ziggy, and she is my pride and joy! “I would recommend Justin as an exceptional dog sitter and walker. During the time Justin cared for my dog, he demonstrated responsibility and genuine affection for animals. Justin has a natural way with dogs that immediately put my nervous pup at ease. He took the time to understand my dog's specific needs, preferences, and routine, ensuring minimal disruption while I was away. His attention to detail—from administering medication on schedule to respecting dietary restrictions—gave me complete peace of mind. What sets Justin apart is his proactive communication. He sent daily updates with photos of their walks and activities, which was incredibly reassuring. He also handled an unexpected situation with calm efficiency when my dog needed extra attention. My dog returned happy, healthy, and well-exercised after Justin's care. It's clear that he treats the dogs in his care as if they were his own. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Justin again and recommend his services to anyone seeking reliable and compassionate care for their four-legged family members.”

“Cheyenne is a very caring individual who takes pride with her love for animals. She has cared for several dogs during childhood and is currently caring for a very energetic chocolate labradoodle, Bon Bon, who is about 4 months old. She has ensured that Bon Bon has attended all of his veterinary visits, has enrolled in activity training, is on the appropriate schedule and amount of food, and has participated in "play dates" with other young dogs. Bon Bon is a very loving and well-behaved young dog reflective of Cheyenne's care and attention. I believe Cheyenne would be an excellent care-giver for other dogs and would certainly be happy for her to care for any of our family pets.”
