About: I have had dogs, including larger breeds, since I was a child, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. As an adult, I have also cared for cats, aquarium fish, birds, and small pets like hamsters. I enjoy learning the needs of different animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a college student, I have availability in the mornings, most evenings, and on weekends. The only times that may be limited are mid-afternoons Monday through Thursday. For home check-ins, I will provide the services you request in the way that best fits your pet’s needs and your preferences. Walks can be discussed and agreed upon in advance, including the location and routine.
About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets. Cats, dogs and even a cow and chicken or two. I strongly believe our pets are family members just like our human family. I've had big and little dogs, and many different cats. My current little man is my best buddy he is spoiled and loved so much. He's 7 years old and loves other dogs to hang out with. He doesn't pay any attention to cats. I would love to care for your family member, giving you peace of mind that they will be well cared for and loved on while in my care. My availability is completely open, any day and time. I'm very flexible with dates and times, whether at your home or mine. Thank you for your time and I look forwars to hearing from you! I have a fenced in area for bathroom breaks and a large yard on a quiet country road to run and play in. I have space for a crate, I even have a very large one that can be used if necessary. Also have an almost two mile lane around our farm property to walk and run around. My home has plenty of space for exploring or just chilling out.
“Madeline was prompt and communicated how our dog was feeling since she had an off day the day before. She sent photos and a video and with it being her first walk with our dog, our dog was very comfortable with her. Looking forward to having her walk our pup again.”

“Jennifer is the best!! She’s very reliable and responds quick! She walks my dog every week and always keeps me updated with texts and pictures. You can tell she really loves animals and puts a lot of care into taking care of my dog 🖤🐾”

About: Hi! I’m Addy — a lifelong dog lover who recently moved to Freeland, MI. I share my home with Kahlua, my sweet and friendly Pomsky, who loves making new dog friends. I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pup with someone new, and my goal is always to give your dog a safe, calm, and happy experience — full of warmth, playtime, and love. Whether you need a walk, a drop-in visit, or a cozy place for boarding, your dog will be treated like family. I’m patient, responsible, and very attentive to each dog’s personality. I’ll always keep you updated with photos, messages, and honest communication. Hablo español también, si prefieres comunicarte en tu idioma. ❤️ Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’m currently working only Thursdays and Sundays afternoons, which allows me to provide regular walks, playtime, and consistent supervision. I build my schedule around the dogs I care for, making sure they get attention, potty breaks, and exercise at the times they need it. For boarding or drop-in visits, I’m very flexible and can adjust to your dog’s normal routine — whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. Your pup will never feel rushed or left waiting. My goal is to keep your dog’s day feeling predictable, calm, and comfortable. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, dogs are always supervised and kept in a calm, clean, and secure environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. I provide fresh water at all times, regular potty breaks, safe playtime, and a cozy place to rest. I make sure doors are always closed, and I only introduce dogs to my Pomsky, Kahlua, if both pets are comfortable and it’s a good match. For walks and drop-in visits, I use secure harnesses or leashes, stay alert to surroundings, and follow the owner’s instructions closely. I keep a slow, steady pace and avoid unsafe areas or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Whether in my home or yours, I care for every dog with patience, structure, and attention. My goal is for your pup to feel safe, loved, and relaxed — and for you to feel fully confident while they’re in my care.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
