Madeline was prompt and communicated how our dog was feeling since she had an off day the day before. She sent photos and a video and with it being her first walk with our dog, our dog was very comfortable with her. Looking forward to having her walk our pup again.

Morgan was awesome with my pup. First time using Rover we set up a meet and greet so she knew all about Bear so she can give him the best care and watch out for any reactive situations. She’s on time and a great communicator. Was almost a week and everyday was perfect. Would recommend Morgan 🙌

About: I have had dogs, including larger breeds, since I was a child, and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. As an adult, I have also cared for cats, aquarium fish, birds, and small pets like hamsters. I enjoy learning the needs of different animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a college student, I have availability in the mornings, most evenings, and on weekends. The only times that may be limited are mid-afternoons Monday through Thursday. For home check-ins, I will provide the services you request in the way that best fits your pet’s needs and your preferences. Walks can be discussed and agreed upon in advance, including the location and routine.

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and have been pet sitting since the age of 13. I grew up with cats and dogs, and I currently have three senior cats and a rabbit, who I love to spend my free time with. I am comfortable and have experience with administering medications to cats and dogs, walking dogs, caring for older pets, and working early mornings or late evenings. I would love to meet you and your pet! As a recent college graduate, I currently have full availability and a flexible schedule. This allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve! I believe that every pet is different, and deserves individualized care based on their personal routine, personality, and needs. Before booking, I take time to learn about feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, favorite activities, etc., in order to provide the best care possible for your pets. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention and playtime, while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I am also more than happy to provide regular updates, such as texts and photos to the owners, so that they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve had dogs as a big part of my family since I was extremely young. Having dogs has taught me so many new responsibilities, and struggles between figuring out what they need or what. I’m currently unemployed and looking into just taking college courses and having a part time job. With that I will have plenty of time to spend with your loving pets to ensure that they are properly cared for, and get all the attention they deserve while you’re gone. I will always ensure that they are fed when they need to be fed along with, making sure that they always have clean and drinkable water, lots of time outside to get out the zoomies during playtime, more than enough potty breaks, and clean litter boxes always.

About: I'm 26, work from home, and have a very flexible schedule, so your pet will get lots of attention and care throughout the day. I live alone and genuinely love having animals around. Whether your pet loves long walks at the park, playtime, or just relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your pet needs an active day or just someone to keep them company, I'm able to be there for them. I always treat my clients' homes with the same respect I would want for my own. I have experience cleaning homes and caring for the elderly, so I'm comfortable following routines, respecting personal space, and cleaning up any pet messes along the way. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets can feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I grew up on a farm and have always had pets. Cats, dogs and even a cow and chicken or two. I strongly believe our pets are family members just like our human family. I've had big and little dogs, and many different cats. My current little man is my best buddy he is spoiled and loved so much. He's 7 years old and loves other dogs to hang out with. He doesn't pay any attention to cats. I would love to care for your family member, giving you peace of mind that they will be well cared for and loved on while in my care. My availability is completely open, any day and time. I'm very flexible with dates and times, whether at your home or mine. Thank you for your time and I look forwars to hearing from you! I have a fenced in area for bathroom breaks and a large yard on a quiet country road to run and play in. I have space for a crate, I even have a very large one that can be used if necessary. Also have an almost two mile lane around our farm property to walk and run around. My home has plenty of space for exploring or just chilling out.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beaver. On Rover:

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 90% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
