“Olivia was great with my pups! There was great communication and she sent updates and photos of the visit! I knew they were well taken care of! Would definitely work with her again!”

About: Heading up to the Mountain for some fun in the snow? Drop off your pup, I’m on the way :) I have years of experience taking care of puppies and adult dogs. Big and small breeds, I understand each dog comes with it's very unique personality and needs. My availability is open mainly for weekends and boarding for longer periods of time. I update my calendar on a regular basis and will update my clients if any changes happen. I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly and playful dogs they are crate trained. I can keep your pet inside the house, they are allowed on furniture and beds and I can put in a crate if needed in the garage. I live by two popular dog play areas so finding space to walk/play is no problem.
“It was my pup’s first time hanging with Wendy & we are very happy with her warmness & communication! I especially love the videos & pictures as it gave me ease knowing she was in good hands :)”

About: Throughout my life I’ve had 2 dogs, 7 cats, and I currently live with 3 cats. I don’t have a preference between cats and dogs, I love them equally! I don’t work a regular job so my schedule is almost always open for pet sitting. I’m free to house sit, dog walk, whenever you need me. I keep my cats indoors, give fresh water every day in their cat fountain. I feed every morning and every night on a consistent schedule, a mix of kibble and wet food.
“Molly was great. She sent pics with my two cats and also brought in packages while I was away. She stopped by while we were gone during a snow storm and checked the water for us and adjusted heat temps etc. I have already booked her to come for our next trip away and would highly recommend her. I am so happy to have find someone to trust with my kitties and home after recently moving to the area.”

“Hi Ronda! Jackson Galaxy says that cats will claim someone or something as their own by rubbing and leaving their scent. As shy as Freyja is, she's claimed you for her own (rubbing against your purse). That's really saying something! And the photo with Oogie hanging out with you on the head of your chair shows you two are buddies. We knew from the start that you are perfect for them and us, and we're thankful we found you. Now you might be wondering how they were when we came home. They woke up when they heard us and suddenly got the zoomies! Oogie had an excellent run on the kitty wheel, jumping off only to run away from Freyja! They played and grappled with each other and rubbing against us and more ruining on the wheel and more chasing. They don't even do that with catnip. Anyway, we had a great time and piece of mind that the ladies were in excellent hands. If this review is long and scattered, I'm JUST waking up (11:30 I think). Big hugs and big thank you! 😁🤗 Laurie PS Please tell your hubby he's more than welcome for the pizza. I'm so happy he enjoyed it. We'll try to have pizza before our trips from now on.”

“Tori is the best. She kept us up dates on are babys wile we went on vacation. She spoils them. Even tho my one of my pups really doesn't like anyone but me and my other half. He now lets Tori pet and love on him. It's so comforting knowing our fur babys are in good hands with Tori.”

Safety and respect is my priority, and I am comfortable administering medications. I am currently attending nursing school and am looking for some pet work related activities to fit into my day! I have a fair bit of free time and would love to spend it doing something I love, caring for animals! I am extremely comfortable around all animals, especially dogs. I will follow house instructions perfectly and use critical thinking skills when needed it situations. I am extremely respectful of your space, and will do my absolute best when caring for your pet!
“Megan is The Best. She did two drop-in visits per day for our two cats for a week. She took great care of the cats in our house. We will definitely use her again in the future. And she is knowledgeable of Verona’s practice and observant and let us when things didn’t look right which I appreciate.”
“Lynden was wonderful to work with -- very caring and compassionate -- and it was such a relief knowing she was making daily visits while we were gone.”

“Lilieana was so kind and gracious in the booking process. She also lives nearby so made everything pretty easy. The pups looked pleased on the pictures and are happy that we are home . Frankie sniffed around for a little while wondering if she was going to come back. Definitely a great sitter pick.”

“Sarah is the best pet sitter I have ever had. Just from a one time drop in visit I found Sarah to be responsive, dependable and most importantly wonderful with animals. The photos she took of my dog playing warmed my heart. She went beyond what was asked of her. I will confidently rebook Sarah!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Sandy
Casey was terrific with my darling Frodo. Casey was super attentive, playful and caring with Frodo, communicative after every drop-in, including cute photos of Frodo, and basically, exactly what I would hope for in a pet caretaker. Yippee for Casey, and of course, plan to use him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
