The other is young, large, energetic, and can be protective and anxious, especially at first. John was very accommodating and patient when first meeting Abby and Archie in a meet-and-greet, as well as when he came to spend the day with them. By the end of the day, he and both dogs seemed to have bonded well. John was respectful of our home, listened carefully to all of our instructions and suggestions, and followed through well with all of them. We would definitely call on John again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and have grown up around dogs. I currently own a German Shepherd and Coton De Tulear, both of whom are my pride and joy, along with the rest of our pack. I understand that these precious souls mean so much to so many people, and promise that under my care and supervision they’ll be treated with the utmost respect and love, just as if they were my own! I’m currently working part-time and in school so while my availability may be limited I assure you my care for your pets isn’t! Please double-check that the dates/times you need align with my availability before submitting a booking. Thank you! It’s all dependent on what my clients homes are equipped with! If you have a fenced yard and high energy dogs, I’m more than happy to take them outside to play and explore, or play inside. Treats are always an option, as are pets, cuddles, and plenty of love for your fur babies!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with three schnauzers and have over 5 years of experience caring for dogs of all kinds. From pups to senior dogs, shy pups like Luna, playful rescues like Moose, and spunky dogs like Pippa, I have loved getting to know them all. I have experience with feeding, administering medications, and maintaining consistent daily routines. My patient and attentive approach helps me connect with all types of dogs. I love giving them plenty of playtime, cuddles, and walks; one wag at a time 🐾 As a recent college graduate, I have a remote job that gives me the flexibility to work from home. I can take dogs on walks during my breaks or stay with them at home. I am available during the weekdays and weekends to ensure your dog has consistent attention, companionship, and care whenever you need it. Every dog I care for becomes part of my family. I provide walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles, making sure they have a safe, comfortable space to relax. I follow their usual routines, whether that’s lounging on their couch, resting in their crate, or engaging in activities. I’m happy to help with anything that makes them feel most at home, including discussing any medication needs in advance to ensure their care is safe and consistent.

“Pam was amazing staying in our home with our Cece (Cavalier King Charles) overnight this weekend. We rarely leave Cece as she goes everywhere with us. Pam came for a meet and greet the week prior to our date, showed up a little early and that gave us time to go over anything either of us needed to, texted us pictures of Cece, and left the house tidy and locked up. Cece clearly loved Pam upon meeting her and was very excited when she returned the following week. Pam is a confident, professional, warm person and we will hopefully be able to have her back the next time we need Cece taken care of.”

“Amanda is wonderful- she took my Luna to the waterfront and put a doggy kerchief on her. She had a better vacation than we did! Luna also has a recurrence of a proteus infection and Amanda took the step to track us down at our campsite (no cell service) to let us know and to get next steps. She also sent me a video of my cat playing with the laser light - love it! Luna still has her infection but it is being managed and she has her little spring in her step and is just so happy. About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: Aside from having my own dogs for my entire life and growing up on a farm with 5+ dogs at a time, I spent several years owning, training, and showing German Shepherds in the AKC circuits. Currently, I have a dachshund and a chihuahua. I love all dogs and am happy to help look after yours like they are my own while you're at work or away! I am a full-time adult student and work a very flexible part-time job that leaves me a lot of freedom to come and go as needed. I am happy to play with your dog(s), hang out, take walks/hikes, and feed/water throughout the day as needed in your home. I am happy to send pictures/videos and I am comfortable with timid, fearful, or reactive dogs, as well as senior dogs.
