“Alan was terrific. Gave us peace of mind knowing that he would drop in on Bauer, feed him and take him for a walk. Thanks Alan!”

“Our kitten was so well taken care of while we were gone, it gave us so much peace of mind! 10 out of 10 would recommend!! We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Nathaniel was absolutely fantastic with my 2 dogs. He picked up the gig on short notice, was prompt and timely on the meet and greet, and took wonderful care of the dogs 3 times a day for the week I was out of town. I would highly recommend using him and will certainly use him again.”

About: I have been working with animals for the past five years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked with disabled animals too Due to how my week operates, I am completely flexible. I can drop in weekdays and weekends, you and your pets are my number one priority. Your animal is safe with me; you don't have to worry. I aim to make open and transparent communication my top priority. If something goes wrong or your animal gets sick I will always contact you.

About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life but lost my 12 year old Bernese in July ‘22. My daughter and I have plenty of love to give and want you to feel safe when you need to leave your family dog or cat for awhile. I work in the school system so I’m available in the evenings and weekends until school gets out early June and then my schedule will be open during weekdays. I live in a townhouse so I would board in my home or yours depending on preference. If using my home we would walk on leash or go to the park. I’m also available to take your pup for a walk, to visit and play or just make sure they get to go bathroom and are safe until you get back home.

“Stephen was amazing with my dogs! It gave me great confidence to know that he is a canine handler. He went above and beyond for my dogs. One of my pups was having a rough time while we were gone and he stayed with him extra and made sure he was OK. He had an upset stomach and he even cooked him some rice and pumpkin to settle his belly. I appreciate you helping out my pups!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for a while and have always had my own. There’s nothing I love more than giving attention to animals. I am currently a stay at home mom and so I have plenty of time to watch my toddler and love on animals. My toddler loves any animal he meets and will giggle the whole time. I have a fenced yard and keep a tidy house. My toddler and I stay home quite a bit so the animals don’t get too lonely

“This was the first time we left our two dogs alone without. An in home dog sitter. Tori was great! She came by and fed the dogs and gave me a report on how they were. Sent pics and updates. She was awesome”

About: Fourteen years as a Kindergarten teacher and another 8 as an Elementary Art teacher should be a clue as to my patience with Little Ones (puppies) as well as Seniors (in their Golden years) and all the ages in between. I only work full time 6 months, so the other 6 I'm free to do what I love! This allows me to be a full-time pup playmate for your fur baby, not just a side hustle. Your baby is my only focus, as my two "kids" are out of the nest. Unlike the younger Sitters, I have an open schedule and can do long term stays/care if needed. I have FBI G8 Presidential Summit clearance, for peace of mind. I also taught in the Elementary school setting for 20 years. I now teach at an Environmental Education Nature Preserve. I have a Pug mix, so I'm familiar with special diets that are needed for certain breeds and don't mind chopping veggies and fruit and cooking lean meats for their meals. I do this for my pup, and would be happy to offer this service to the discerning canine parents.

“Julie did a great job for me and my 3 kitties. They got lots of loves and pets while I was gone.”

About: I work as a middle school PE and Health teacher in Henderson County. I’ve been an educator and soccer coach for 10 years. I graduated with a degree in Psychology and Health/PE from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am a proud dog mom to Piper, a chocolate Labrador Retriever, and Toby, a Golden Retriever. The three of us are all very active and love going on long walks at the greenway and hikes on the mountain trails! My dogs are both very friendly and get along very well with other pets, regardless of their size and age! If you choose me to care for your pet(s), whether that be walking, sitting, or having them here for an overnight stay, my goal is to make sure to treat them as if they were my own- with plenty of love, attention, and exercise that I believe every dog is entitled to. If you would like for me to keep your dog overnight, the only request I have would be that you provide a crate and that he/she gets along with other dogs! I work full time as a teacher, so my availability for pet care in addition to taking care of my pets, is limited to the weekends until the end of May. Over the summer, I will have full time availability. Pet care is a regular and rewarding part of my daily routine. I make time each day for walks, play, feeding, and one-on-one attention, and I plan my weekly schedule around the needs of my pets, and the pets in my care. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, I’m flexible and committed to keeping pets happy, healthy, and well cared for. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs—while giving them plenty of attention and affection. In my home, pets have space to relax, play, and feel like part of the family. In a client’s home, I aim to keep things calm and consistent so pets feel secure in their familiar space.

“Amazing care from Megan!!! We hope to use her again asap!”

I am willing to pick up your pets waste and learn to take care of your horses too. I will be true to my word and will exceed your expectations! I currently work from 7 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday so I am available to care for your four legged friend from 2 pm to 7 pm! I will work with you directly on whatever service you are needing. “I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer! We have 3 very skittish kitties and they went right up to her the first time she met them. She took amazing care of them, playing with them and brushing them and just spending time with them. She took excellent care of them and kept their litter and feeding areas immaculate. She was prompt, friendly, reliable and sent great daily visit summaries and pictures of our fur babies, so we knew they were okay and could enjoy our vacation. Thank you, Jennifer! I would highly recommend her!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life and have walked dogs professionally in the past. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages. I have experience dealing with various activity levels, from couch potatoes to high-energy working breeds (I have raised two working breed dogs of my own). In addition, I have experience working with any temperament - social pups, shy pups, reactive pups or anything in-between so I can address their particular needs accordingly. My personal life allows flexibility so I can have open availability to move my daily routine around to accommodate any pet care needs on short notice. I will take dogs on walks for the duration requested and make sure they are safely returned home with plenty of water and any other needs they may have. I can administer treats or medications as requested. I will run and play games with the animals.

About: I am currently only have one puppy of my own but thought it would be a good time to try to care for others with all my heart. It is my daily routine right now. ;) I’m looking to start a pet and house sitting business in the area dedicated to the people that live here and love their animals as much as I loved mine, dedicated to my baby boy that I just lost way before his time. 🥹 It is an Rv right on the lake with just two human animals and a new pup at the moment with a partially fenced back yard. I can put up a small mobile fence, but also have plenty of space to put up long leashes to the clothes line, etc. when we’re hanging outside and can do plenty of leashed walking. The street is quiet and full of wonderful people that love their animals.

“My pets are my children and I have high standards due to their specific needs. Gabriel is one of the few people I trust with their care. Gabriel is a great communicator, patient with stubborn breeds (like mine), and highly knowledgeable in making decisions for the care of your animals. Gabriel is a logical and practical person that translates well with caring for someone else’s animals. Gabriel stands on honesty and integrity, two of the best qualities for trusting someone with your fur babies. You won’t regret hiring Gabriel!”

“Amazing care from Megan!!! We hope to use her again asap!”

Wade W.
“Wade is exceptional with pets! He is goofy, caring, good-natured and patient, making him the best dog dad and pet sitter. He's a fast learner and loves to be outside, so he excels at working with/around farm animals as well. He is trustworthy, pays attention to detail and very reliable, making him a great sitter to rely on while you're out of town! Your pets will be very well cared for, loved on, and spoiled by Wade.”

Kaitlyn R.
“Kaitlyn was WONDERFUL with my dogs. We did not have a worry in the world on vacation with our precious babies in her hands. She was very responsive and sent pictures very often so we could see what a great time our babies were having! We would recommend her to anyone!”

Melanie P.
“Melanie has looked after my special needs dog on many occasions, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My dog has physical special needs, but he also has a challenging temperament which means he struggles to get along with other dogs without a proper introduction and close initial supervision. Melanie has worked her magic with him to ensure that he interacts safely with other dogs, and even builds friendships. That's such an incredible skill. She is an excellent communicator and always makes sure I know what's happening with my boy when he is in her care, that reassurance is important to me. She is kind, patient, professional, and a genuine animal lover. I 100% trust Melanie with my precious dog, which means I can relax when I’m away from him, and the level of care she provides for him is truly exceptional.”
