Firstly and very importantly Chrissy’s communication is excellent. She always responded immediately and gave reports after each visit with pictures of each cat. This is such a huge relief to any pet owner. Not only did Chrissy feed my two cats on time and accurately (one is quite high maintenance), but she gave a report of anything specific she felt might be unusual for them e.g. poor appetite. During each visit Chrissy took time to play with and/or pet the cats learning what each individual cat preferred. Chrissy adhered to schedule in addition to emptying the litter robot, keeping the cat area clean, and opening and closing blinds. Chrissy is trustworthy, dependable, and highly recommended. About: I've worked in veterinary medicine for years and am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a veterinarian! Alongside my professional experience, I’ve pet sat for over a decade, caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I am new to Rover, but not to pet sitting and animal care! I’ve also worked at animal shelters, dog daycares, and on farms! Friends, family, and neighbors trust me to walk, feed, administer medications, bathe, and comfort their pets. I am RECOVER BLS certified (CPR for cats and dogs), and graduated with a bachelors degree in veterinary technology. I work full-time as a Registered Veterinary Technician in a veterinary hospital, but only four days a week, giving me flexibility for pet care. On workdays, I can either bring your pet with me (if appropriate and approved) or stop by during my lunch break for a walk, potty break, or check-in. I'm reliable, communicative, and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs around my schedule. When I’m not working, I am always home. When pet sitting, your pet is my top priority. My own dog is quite lazy, so I’m always excited to walk dogs who enjoy walks!! I provide pet care in my own home, which has three bedrooms, a yard (currently putting a fence in), and plenty of space for your pet to feel safe and relaxed. My fence will be completed at the end of August! I live by myself with a friendly dog and a cat, both well-socialized and used to guests. About: I joined Rover in hopes to help pet owners in my area when they need to hire a sitter. I don’t have any animals in my apartment right now so your fur baby will have my full attention. I had a ferret for many years which was a major learning adjustment. At home, I have two cats and I take care of my two year old French bulldog, who sometimes also need special care. I have experience with senior dogs and small puppies. I cared for my Frenchie starting at 8 weeks, she is 3 now! Furthermore, my family and I occasionally foster dogs until they find their forever home. I love animals so much and your pet will have plenty of play time and receive lots of love. From my experience, I can be attentive to whatever your fur baby’s needs are while you’re away. I currently work from home and will have lots of time to give attention and love to your fur baby. I live in a spacious apartment with lots of grass to for a leash walk. When sitting for others or my parents, I let our Frenchie roam free. She has a crate though not always necessary. She often likes to go outside and sunbathe.
