“Patty is the absolute best. Our boy is reactive, and when we had family visit, we needed a place for him to stay during the day to avoid the stress of having strangers (to him) in the house. She gave us lots of pictures, followed his lead on if/when he wanted to meet new dogs, and he was so excited to see her every day! She was responsive, kind, and the big yard to run around in was so so good for him. Patty is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, and asked all the questions that made me feel like she was going to handle our dog well. She gives full answers to any questions you may have, as well. We will for sure be using her again!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities for over 15 years, starting with family and neighbors and continuing through friends and repeat clients. I also volunteer walking dogs at the Humane Society in Superior, where I regularly work with nervous, high-energy, or more challenging dogs. I take a calm, patient approach and adjust to each dog’s needs, earning trust is always my goal. If a dog is difficult, I see it as an opportunity to connect. I truly love dogs, and I already love yours. I have a flexible schedule and work from home most days, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. With about three days’ notice, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate pet care needs. On days I’m in the office or traveling for personal reasons, I communicate clearly in advance to ensure expectations are set and care is consistent. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I have two friendly dogs of my own, and I’m mindful about introductions and routines. If a pet needs a quieter or separate environment, I have family nearby who can care for my dogs as needed. I have a partially fenced yard and use leashes and close supervision for outdoor time. I follow care instructions closely and focus on providing a calm, structured, and safe environment.

About: Hi there! My name is Savannah (or Sav for short!) and I’ve worked in pet care for 6 years in Minneapolis before moving to Duluth, resulting in completing hundreds of walks and dozens of sittings- and I love what I do! I also am the dog mom of a spunky 11 year old German Shepard mix. I understand the need for detailed and compassionate care, especially in the winter and summer when extra resources like dog boots or extra water may be needed. The pets I’ve had in my care lately range from pit bulls and labs to pugs and even older dogs. I am excited to meet your dog! I spend all day, everyday walking dogs of all ages and breeds. About: I have owned a dog my entire life. We live in the country with a large (unfenced) yard and acres of woods behind us that the we can walk the dogs on. We also have a large outdoor kennel. My son is 12 and also is great with taking care of dogs. I work from home and my son will be out on summer break soon so they will have plenty of attention. We have a 6-year-old chocolate lab who is great with other dogs and loves to play. We've raised our dogs from the puppy stage, so have experience with puppies as well. About: I have two cats of my own. My tuxedo lu has been around since I was super little, I’ve carried her with me everywhere i go! My fluffy boy moo was a rescue a few years ago, he’s a big sweetie. I have a dog named ollie that I share custody of with my mom. he comes with me on all of the road trips and hikes. I’ve sat for family members and people in my area since I was 15.
