My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home where your furry family member feels happy, relaxed, and cared for while you're away. “Kate watched our two dogs for a week while we went on vacation and I’ve never been happier with a dog sitter! Both of my girls got a bath, got to run around with her dog Stella, and got lots of snuggles! I knew they were well taken care of during their stay & we can’t wait to drop them off again so they can see their friend Stella again!”
“Amber has been so wonderful and a lifesaver for my pooch and me. After fracturing my ankle, she came and picked up hanky for a few days while I was unable to properly take care of him. She brought him home when I was feeling better and now picking him up while I await surgery. I am so fortunate to have her and know my hanky boy is in good hands as I go through this. Thank you to her and her family for the help and support❤️”

About: Hi there! I am an animal care specialist here in Duluth with a degree in Zoo & Conservation Science. Most importantly, I absolutely love ALL animals! I have over a decade of experience caring for my own pets at home including dogs, cats, and some farm animals! I also have 5 years of professional animal care experience in college and beyond. I am experienced at caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and energy levels. Handling more than one dog on walks or sittings is also easy peasy! My specialized training enables me to safely administer medicine and I have an eagle eye when it comes to monitoring health issues. Pets are an important part of the family and I do not take that lightly! I am prepared to handle any weather Duluth throws my way! With my skills reading animal emotions/behavior combined with my genuine love for animals, you can know your pet will have a FURTASTIC time with me! I work full time (Thursday-Monday) but I’m happy to stop by for quick visits on my lunch break if necessary! I have 2 consecutive days off (Tuesday & Wednesday) if your pet needs more attentive care. I am very comfortable crating, putting on leashes/harnesses, feeding/watering, medicating, and whatever else is needed to care for your pet. I am renting so I cannot care for pets in my own home unfortunately.

About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
“Our dog had a great time at Casey’s. He had many other dog playmates to run around with. Casey was laid back and the drop off and pick up went very smoothly. It was super helpful to be able to have the daycare option while we were visiting Duluth for an event. Would definitely recommend him and we would use his services again!”
“Heather and her family did such an amazing job with Edie. They helped her ease into a new environment and gave her lots of love and affection. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking for care for their pup!”

About: Hi! My name is Mara, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and your home while you’re away. I have grown up with multiple dogs and have always loved being around animals. Over the years, I have also provided dog sitting and house sitting for neighbors and family members, caring for pets in their own homes, following their routines, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I will take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have experience providing more specialized care, including administering IV medication for an elderly animal I was watching. This experience taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, attention to detail, and following care instructions carefully. My background working in childcare, summer camps, and other safety-focused roles has helped me become dependable, organized, and attentive. I will treat your pets like they are my own and your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am currently a full-time online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I am happy to work with your pet’s routine to provide consistent and reliable care. I care for pets by keeping their routines consistent and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow all care instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime, and I treat each pet and home with the same respect I would want for my own. I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are well cared for.
About: I grew up with three dogs and later adopted Diamond, a sweet black lab who was my running partner until 2023. Since then my house has been "doggy camp" for friends, family, and Rover clients. I'm at my best with dogs who have extra energy. I run most days and love taking pups on adventures around Duluth — always on-leash. I'm also patient with reactive and anxious dogs, and happy to handle meds, senior care, and specific routines. You'll get consistent photos and updates, a fenced yard, and a dog-proofed house with no resident pets or kids. About other guests: I typically have 0-3 dogs at my house but can accommodate so your pup is the only guest - ask about a Private Stay (+$20/night). I have a flexible schedule, I try to run daily anyways, and my house is dog-proofed with a fence. I'm ready to provide a safe, comfortable and fun space for your pet to get quality care and exercise. I live in East Hillside Duluth with great access to paved and off-road walking/running routes. My house has a fenced in yard and I have cultivated a pet-proof home over the years. I am a strict on-leash walker/runner.

I follow the 'leave no trace' hiking guideline into clients' homes! I respect privacy and will never invite strangers in or take photos for any other reason than to update you, the owner.
About: i’ve always had such a soft spot in my heart for animals, even scaly friends too! I myself have had animals ranging from cats and dogs, to snakes to fish and rats.. and as you can imagine, they all require some very different needs! i ALWAYS make it my goal to care for each individual animal the best i can, after all they deserve it! I’d love to make taking care of your furry friends my main priority! I have open availability during the week and will be home all day with them, wether it’s your home or mine (: I do have 2 dogs of my own, so unfortunately i do not have availability for overnight stays. I always make it my biggest goal to let animals know how loved they are! I am willing to accommodate to you and your pets needs to ensure the safety of me, you, and your pet! My 2 dogs have me wrapped around their pinkies (toes? paws? 🤷🏻♀️) and i’d do anything to make sure they’re happy. I treat every dog in my care like my very own. I understand leaving your dog in the care of somebody else can be nerve-racking, especially if it’s in somebody else’s home. You worry about wether or not your sitter is going to leave them alone during the day, or if your sitter lives on a busy street, or if there’s a chance your dog gets loose.. i understand all of these! A home visit is a must and i’d be happy to show you where your furry friend will be staying, and what a typical day looks like!

Working primarily from home with a flexible schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, walks, and outdoor fun throughout the day. We currently do not have any pets of our own, which makes our home a great fit for dogs who prefer a quieter environment or do best as the only pet. I'm available most weekdays and weekends and would love to learn about your dog's unique routine, personality, and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home where your furry family member feels happy, relaxed, and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets are family, which is why I treat every dog in my care like one of my own. With plenty of experience hosting friends' dogs, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pup can relax, play, and feel at home.
About: Hi there! I have decades of animal care experience both personal and professional and look forward to providing your pet with stellar care, attention, and love (if they prefer). I take pet care seriously and will tend to your pet the same way I would my own. Though I made a career switch from working with animals in a professional capacity I remain knowledgeable and continue to petsit for others and care for my own pets. I have personally owned a variety of pets including cats and dogs. I have a soft spot for senior and special needs pets and also have a long-term chicken sitting position as well :) I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting your pet soon! Im a lifelong pet owner and lover and have recently found myself with a much emptier and quiet home so I am hoping to fill that void with getting to spend time your pets :). I work 2 regular jobs but look forward to having fun with your pets in my spare time I will treat your pets as dearly as I'd treat my own, I have a childless quiet home with no other pets and many years of experience both professionally and personally to provide your pet with a safe and fun experience.
“Another great weekend for our pup with Courtnie! She treats our dog like one of her own and is a fantastic communicator. I'm looking forward to booking with her many more times in the future.”
