“Very lovely family- kind and accommodating. Their daughter was wonderful with my dog too. Thank you for giving my pup a home away from home for the weekend.”

“Peter and Barbara were great! They sent lots of pictures, were flexible with us when we requested a last minute booking and had a few changes in our plans. Our pup came home happy and tired!”

About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.

“Emily took wonderful care of our Stella while we were at an out state wedding. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing Stella was well taken care. Emily did a great job of sending pictures thoroughout the weekend of Stella's happenings. I would highly recommend Emily. Her passion for animals, approachable personality, and flexibility made the experience a wonderful success!”

“Heather is amazing! She’s so kind and always goes above and beyond for my dog, Reka. She even carved a pumpkin for her this time! I really appreciate the regular updates and photos, and Reka gets multiple walks every day. Her sons also play with Reka, which she absolutely loves. Always a great experience with Heather — highly recommend!”

“Kylee and David are excellent pet sitters! I don't have to worry at all when our dog is with them. He gets to go on adventures and lots of walks. He comes home happy and sleepy! :)”

“Nicole did great! Banjo had a great time and she kept him busy! Lots of picture updates which was great! No hesitation sending Banjo back to Nicole next time we're out of town!!”

“Thank you, Casey! From the pictures (and the long nap at home) it looked like Jules had a blast for her first night away from us/family. We will definitely be reaching out for future visits!”

“Lassie had a wonderful time with Rachel, her family and her pets! She whined in the car when we were driving off…she didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much for the great care you took of her and for sending so many pictures during her fun time there!”

“Patty did an outstanding job with our dogs! She managed to communicate with us daily even though we were out of the country and difficult to get hold of. When one of the dogs became ill, Patty handled everything perfectly and went above and beyond to ensure that our pets recovery went well. Her pet handling skills were evident and very much appreciated! Highly recommend!”
“Scout had a wonderful stay with Marly! She is a senior canine-citizen and needs a few extra potty breaks and TLC and she got exactly what she needed at Marly's house. Thanks, Marly!”

“Zane was great. Very accommodating and flexible with drop off and pickup, and provided a picture during the stay to show my pup was doing great. Great communication throughout. Would use again if I'm in the area.”

“Stacie did an amazing job looking after my Kadie! She sent pictures and updates every day, and Kadie came home tired and happy! Anyone looking for a good, kind pet-sitter is in the right place!”

“Christina was great with Penny and appreciated it soo much for a quick stop in Duluth. She helped get her to eat which was getting a little touchy on our travels and sent lots of pics (which I love). Penny looked right at home. Thank you and will look for you whenever we get back to Duluth again😁”

“Kate watched our two dogs for a week while we went on vacation and I’ve never been happier with a dog sitter! Both of my girls got a bath, got to run around with her dog Stella, and got lots of snuggles! I knew they were well taken care of during their stay & we can’t wait to drop them off again so they can see their friend Stella again!”

“Amber has been so wonderful and a lifesaver for my pooch and me. After fracturing my ankle, she came and picked up hanky for a few days while I was unable to properly take care of him. She brought him home when I was feeling better and now picking him up while I await surgery. I am so fortunate to have her and know my hanky boy is in good hands as I go through this. Thank you to her and her family for the help and support❤️”

Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
