Doggy Day Care Luck

About: My husband and I are a team of active, educated individuals who love all types of dogs! My husband is a high school math teacher and I am a high school counselor. Working from home during summer has allowed us plenty of time to spend with our dog. We have a 5 year old Yellow Lab who still has the energy of a puppy! We keep up with all routine vet visits and our dog is caught up on all vaccinations including Bordetella (kennel cough). My husband and I live in town but have a large backyard to accommodate play time. We allow our dog on furniture and in our bed a night time..dogs don’t get the long, full life that is humans get, so we like to let him live it as a spoiled pup! We will love your dog like our own!

About: I have a small hobby farm where I take care of animals off all ages and sizes. I work remotely from home (although I’ve got the ability to travel) so I have time to frequently check on everyone and administer food and meds on a regular basis. Although I only have a partially fenced yard, I have plenty of leader lines and leashes available for potty breaks and exercise. I currently have two dogs and a cat that live in the house with me and are very friendly with other dogs. I have plenty of room for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in a crate, and room for doggy beds if they are particular about where they sleep. I’m also willing to pet sit/farm sit locally if your furry friends would prefer to stay home. I work remotely Monday-Friday. I usually work at home, but I have the ability to work anywhere there is an internet connection if you would prefer an in-home sitter. Working remote gives me the chance to be home all day where I can do potty breaks for my dogs and check on my farm animals. It also allows me to be available if there’s any special requests such as medication and specific feeding times. My cat is a “one cat” kind of guy (we’ll work on that), so for now, I would only feel comfortable hosting dogs ay my house. However, I am available to pet sit in-home for cats or dogs that might feel more comfortable at home. I’m very comfortable giving meds and sticking to a strict feeding schedule if your animal has medical/dietary needs. I’ve seen (almost) everything, so don’t feel like you’re asking too much!

About: Since I was 6 years old my family had dogs and cats as pets. All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I am home daily with my kids, I only leave when I need to go to the store or take kids to an activity. So they won't be left alone for long if at all while in my care. I have a fenced in yard for a safe place to run and play while outside. My house is decent size so plenty of area and all open to them so they feel at home. You can bring whatever you think your animal needs to be comfortable.

About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was a child. When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I have grown up with dogs of all kinds throughout my life, so being around animals has always been a natural part of who I am. While I currently don’t have a pet of my own, caring for others’ pets is incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to continue giving love and attention to animals while helping families feel confident their pets are in good hands. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I focus on providing dependable care, lots of attention, and clear communication with updates and photos so you always feel comfortable and connected while you’re away. About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. My dog is young, playful, and very friendly. I am familiar and comfortable with crate training and dog-safe practices within the home. I am aware of pet toxicity and safety concerns with pets.

About: Pup-mama to two golden doodles ages 10 and 4. Looking to transition to full-time pet care although currently working out of the home during the day. I currently work full time during the day but am home all evening and night to care for the pups. Overnight boarding is an option. I currently have an unfenced yard but will walk dogs throughout the evening. We plan to install a fence for the dogs after the winter season ends.

About: I have always had pets as a part of my life, dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and I raised rabbits for 4H for a number of years. I also pet sit for family and friends when they need help. I have a local park with trials for walking as well as a nice sidewalk for walking. There is also a local dog park about 5mins from my house I can bring your dog to. I work super part time and my husband works from home. So someone is always home to keep an eye on your pet and love them. I have 3 kids that I may run to and from school or local things from time to time. I have an underground fenced yard that I can use if you'd like to use. I'm happy to limit the area your dog has access to or allow them to roam the house. I'm comfortable with both. If care is being done at your home I like to know of any areas you've had issues on durning walls (with other pets or people).

We both grew up in homes filled with pets — dogs, cats, and a few other critters — and from a young age, it was our responsibility to feed, train, walk, and care for them every day. Now, as a married couple of six years, we share our home with two happy, healthy dogs who are a huge part of our family. We understand what it takes to keep pets safe, comfortable, and loved — whether that means daily walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. Your pets will be treated like part of our family — with the same love, attention, and care we give our own. ❤️ We are home 7 days a week all the time (except for errands here and there). Dogs are able to go out whenever they need either to go potty and burn some energy We offer a safe, loving home where every pet is treated like family. Outdoor time is always supervised on leash, and crate care is available if preferred.

About: I’ve grown up with having both cats and dogs of my own my entire life so I know the proper way to care for them. I understand both the needs of animals and how to tend to those specific needs. I love all kinds of animals and spending time with them so much that I would love to go into some type of career where I can be around them and care for them. I’ve always had positive experiences when around animals and have never had any problems being able to connect with them. I would prefer walking smaller dogs but have no problem sitting both large and small dogs/ any size dog. I would also be happy to take care of and watch cats also.
