Doggy Day Care in Cushing

About: My husband and I are a team of active, educated individuals who love all types of dogs! My husband is a high school math teacher and I am a high school counselor. Working from home during summer has allowed us plenty of time to spend with our dog. We have a 5 year old Yellow Lab who still has the energy of a puppy! We keep up with all routine vet visits and our dog is caught up on all vaccinations including Bordetella (kennel cough). My husband and I live in town but have a large backyard to accommodate play time. We allow our dog on furniture and in our bed a night time..dogs don’t get the long, full life that is humans get, so we like to let him live it as a spoiled pup! We will love your dog like our own!

About: I have a small hobby farm where I take care of animals off all ages and sizes. I work remotely from home (although I’ve got the ability to travel) so I have time to frequently check on everyone and administer food and meds on a regular basis. Although I only have a partially fenced yard, I have plenty of leader lines and leashes available for potty breaks and exercise. I currently have two dogs and a cat that live in the house with me and are very friendly with other dogs. I have plenty of room for crates if your dog prefers to sleep in a crate, and room for doggy beds if they are particular about where they sleep. I’m also willing to pet sit/farm sit locally if your furry friends would prefer to stay home. I work remotely Monday-Friday. I usually work at home, but I have the ability to work anywhere there is an internet connection if you would prefer an in-home sitter. Working remote gives me the chance to be home all day where I can do potty breaks for my dogs and check on my farm animals. It also allows me to be available if there’s any special requests such as medication and specific feeding times. My cat is a “one cat” kind of guy (we’ll work on that), so for now, I would only feel comfortable hosting dogs ay my house. However, I am available to pet sit in-home for cats or dogs that might feel more comfortable at home. I’m very comfortable giving meds and sticking to a strict feeding schedule if your animal has medical/dietary needs. I’ve seen (almost) everything, so don’t feel like you’re asking too much!

About: Since I was 6 years old my family had dogs and cats as pets. All the dogs we had we got as puppies so I handled the potty training, taught tricks and the main obedience training like sit and stay. I've watched family and friends dogs which also included days/nights at a time like when they were out of town working. I have watched and been with tiny dogs to giant dogs. I'm a stay at home mom at the moment so I have plenty of time to care for your pet pretty much at anytime day or night. I have a fenced yard so easy to let in and out as needed, big area take out or let out to play. My house is pretty open with area for them to roam or find good spot to just relax. I have never crated any of my animals but if needed or wanted obviously I could do that. If you have a special diet for your dog I would follow that for you also. My kids and I also love to go on walks and would love your dog to join. I do have three very young kids so your dog must get along with children. My kids love animals, they were very sad after losing our last dog so they'd be very excited to play with others. I am home daily with my kids, I only leave when I need to go to the store or take kids to an activity. So they won't be left alone for long if at all while in my care. I have a fenced in yard for a safe place to run and play while outside. My house is decent size so plenty of area and all open to them so they feel at home. You can bring whatever you think your animal needs to be comfortable.

When married and had kids, we’ve always had dogs and have cared for our dogs in every aspect, walking, bathing, grooming, vet care, etc. Currently we don’t have a pet, but our house is a perfect set up to take care of yours. Currently we are retired. We would have plenty of time to go for walks, play and relax. Our dogs in the past have used our very convenient doggy door into a fenced area for potty breaks. Your dog will be treated like one of our own, getting lots of love and attention during the day and can sleep overnight in a doggy bed or crate whichever is preferred.

About: Please note*** I cannot board pets where I live, all pet sitting (days and overnight) is done at your residence. Hello! I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a 3 yr. old yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! Currently I am mobile in the Western AZ / Southeastern CA area. I will come to you. I can stay as long as you need for your pet care - up to 2+ weeks if needed. I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info need to all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I just recently had to put my 14.5 year old Yorkie Poo to rest. I miss having a buddy at my house but not ready to take on another animal full time yet. I supported my dog through pancreatitis, congestive heart failure and other health considerations. We had him since he was a couple months old until his golden years. I have watched family members, friends, Rover friend's and neighbor’s dogs and always treat them like my own! Additionally, I have stopped into cat owner's homes to check in on them, clean the litter box, feed/water them, and spend time with them! I currently work from home as a Master’s level Social Worker and have very flexible hours. My children are very comfortable and respectful to animals. My children are at school during the day and will be home during the summer months. The pet would be with me with most of the time, outside of errands, etc. *Please reach out in a message regarding availability! My availability changes and I would like to give you the most up to date information! Thank you!* I currently do not have any animals in the house. I can take the dog on walks and out to use the restroom throughout the day as I do not have a fenced in yard. I have a large yard if your dog can be trusted off leash with supervision. I love to have dogs snuggle, so they are just like any other family member, allowed on the furniture. I will be home to either schedule feed, have them graze eat or kennel as requested.

We live on 10 acres, which allows for supervised outdoor time, walks, and fresh air, and we also have a large outdoor kennel available when appropriate for a pet’s comfort and safety. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we focus on consistency, attentiveness, and respect for each pet’s routine. We follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, medication instructions, and any special requests closely. We make it a priority to be responsive, communicative, and attentive so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident while they’re away.

I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. About: I have owned medium-large dogs my whole life. I now work from home and have over 8 acres and walking trails all around my house. My dogs and I go for hikes/swims/walks daily. I also go jogging with my fathers hunting dogs as they love to run. Your dog will be provided with ample exercise and lots of play time.
