About: As a special education teacher, I bring patience, consistency, and strong communication skills to every pet I care for. I previously owned a pit bull named Belle who had social anxiety around other dogs, which taught me how to recognize stress signals, manage walks safely, and adapt to a dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with dogs that require extra patience, structure, or a calm approach, and I prioritize safety, reliability, and positive experiences for both pets and their owners. Having the summers off, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time throughout the week to pet care. Daily walks and outdoor activity have long been part of my routine from caring for my previous dog, Belle, a pit bull who thrived on consistency and regular exercise. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I enjoy providing pets with the attention, companionship, and activity they need while their owners are away. I have the flexibility to provide attentive care and spend quality time with pets throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make an effort to learn their preferences, favorite activities, and household rules so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. My dog Belle, a pit bull, was very much a member of the family, so I understand how important it is to treat pets with the same level of care and respect. I’m also firmly in the “dogs belong on furniture” camp, so I understand that pets are family members and should be treated with love, respect, and affection. About: I am a young professional working flexible hours at my full-time job. I grew up around lots of large, energetic rescue dogs- my family has never had less than 2 at a time! I also have experience with aggressive and special needs dogs; my parents have often adopted difficult dogs and we would rehabilitate them while adapting our lifestyles to suite their needs. I am very used to administering oral medication, cleaning up messes, taking difficult dogs for walks, and ensuring the safety of all dogs and humans involved. I currently live in an apartment, and am allowed to work from home. We have had a (very anxious) rescued Boxer, a sweet Pomeranian mix, and a very young Great Pyrenees/German Shepard puppy living with us before their various humans moved away. I have always loved dogs and used to pet-sit extensively for my neighbors before I came to college. I'm excited to meet your fur-baby :) I work flexible hours at a hybrid 9-5 desk job, so I am often home and available on weekdays and am almost always available before and after work as well. I do not have a fenced yard and my cat is not a dog guy, so unfortunately I am unable to offer home stays from my own home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My parents taught me how to train kittens and puppies. I love to walk my neighbors’ dogs around the neighborhood and I take care of them when they go on vacation. I currently am working part time so I have plenty of time to watch your pets! I can do any time of the day or overnight, as long as I get notified a week in advance. I currently have a 6 year old yorkie who I trained when he was just 6 weeks old. He is the absolute sweetest and loves other animals. I am perfectly fine to work in any home with dogs and/or cats. I will make them happy in their home.

About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to chickens, ducks, and goats, since I was 13. In my senior year of high school, I took a veterinary science class where I did check-ups and grooming on all sorts of animals. (Dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, etc.) I feed, walk, and medicate animals for coworkers, family, and friends just about everytime I'm home from school! I plan on working part-time, so I will have limited times during the day to walk your dogs, but I will have plenty of time to go over and feed, medicate, play, empty litter, etc., after or before my shifts! We've got a super big yard, so plenty of room to run around and play. My doggies at home use an electric fence, but I'm used to walking other dogs on a leash, no problem! Additionally, my pups get along well with other dogs, so no issues in regard to company and territory!

About: I have grown up with animals. Dogs and cats are at the top of the list. I've been around domesticated animals all of my life. My first kittens at my young age was two siames kittens Who had 2 litters of kittens as well as having to toy poodle dogs, that had two litters of puppies twice. I must have been about 10 so it was from then that I have been loving & caring for fur babies.. Though I do not Own a dog or a cat right now, but look forward to owning some in my future.. I currently own a guinea pig. I just recently experienced the end of a pug/fur baby end of life. I took care of the pug for his last six months of life. Soon after that I boarded a beautiful pitbull for the weekend of mother's day. So to book with me, i'm sure I will have you covered.. Because I am home during the day I am a great fit for you fur baby. I love on your Fur baby while you are on occasion or just I'll have an a fun day. Because I am located across from freedom park in James City County, Williamsburg. I feel i'm in a great place to be able to get them out to go for walks and just run and play.

About: I’ve had a medium sized dog for the past eight years. He has always been seen as “my dog,” even though he’s the household dog. I love to take him for walks everyday, car rides often, and play with/treat him! I’m a college junior home for the summer in Williamsburg, VA. I have a part time internship which only requires around 20 hours a week of me being out of the house, so my schedule is very flexible to take care of your babies! In my home specifically, I always ensure my dog is fed, comfortable, and taken care of. I treat my dog as though he has human feelings and speaks english, if you know what I mean. I walk him twice a day and take him for enriching activities often such as car rides. His health is my main priority.

About: I’ve got years of experience caring for dogs and cats. My favorite thing to do is take dogs (especially my own) out for adventures by taking advantage of this beautiful state we get to call home. I love to give dogs the best time when they’re with me whether that’s going out or staying in and their safety and comfortability is my top priority. I work part time on Thursday and Friday nights until the end of December. I have a very open schedule until the end of April. I do have a dog and two cats, so it would be best to board at the owners home vs my own, but I am ok with either. I am avid about getting quality outdoor time that goes beyond potty breaks. Clear instructions of your pets exact care requirements/expectations are important to me so that I can make sure your pet is getting their needs met.

About: I have loved animals all my life, and my experience has ranged from caring for my own pets, to short-term and long-term fostering for friends and military families. I have cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, bunnies, birds and small livestock. I love them and treat them all as though they are my own. I am currently a currently a stay at home mom, and my children are now all school-aged. I care for my animals at home, and I have an open schedule, heart, and home to care for other animals. I have a about 1.3 acres of land with a dedicated (vinyl) fenced in area for dogs so I have plenty of room for outdoor playtime. Indoors, a few of my animals are crated at night based on their individual needs but all walk freely during the day. In your home, I am open to whatever is most comfortable for your pet.

About: I have experience rescuing cats and dogs and administering medication. I’ve also done house sitting and pet sitting for several homes. I enjoy running and playing with dogs to keep them active and happy, and I can also help them stay calm when needed. I offer walks up to 1 hour and can safely handle up to 3 dogs at a time. I’m comfortable cleaning up after pets, changing diapers if needed, and giving medication. I work Mondays and Wednesday–Friday from 7 to 3, and Saturdays from 3 to 11pm. I’m free all day on Tuesdays and Sundays 😊 I adapt to each home and follow the owner’s preferences and routine for their pets. I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for, whether that includes walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or keeping their space clean. I always adjust to each pet’s personality and needs.

About: I have had dogs from puppies to seniors and they have all have been a part of my family. I have experience training puppies and even teaching old dogs new tricks. I have a wonderful home full of dog love. My family and I have boarded friends and neighbors dogs and they rely on feeding, bathing, walking and provide plenty of love and attention. I currently have a wonderful English Lab, so this requires me to feed, walk and play with him throughout the day. I welcome some friends to join us in this daily routine. I have a decent sized home with plenty of room. Dogs can roam freely in a safe environment and will enjoy nice walks in my small community. Water is always available from a gravity water bowl, treats available for training/tricks or just cause. Depending on how your dog sleeps at night, kennel is available or they can jump in bed with us!

About: As a Vet student, I will be able to give the best possible care to your fur baby! Whether its giving medications or providing stimulating activities, I can do them all! I’m currently just a vet student who spends lots of time at home studying! I can watch your fur baby right after class with the knowledge of professional care fresh from my brain! I live in an apartment that contains a dog, a cat, and three birds! The yard lacks a fence but with supervision and on leash, pups would still have fun while taking potty breaks.

About: I genuinely love animals. I am the type of person who stops everyone and asks if I can pet their dog. I do have professional training in taking care of animals; I worked at an animal rescue and a doggy daycare! I am 25 years old and I have my own transportation and will work very hard to take care of your pet! I have experience walking dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes and ages. Including animals with special food requirements, feeding instructions and giving medications such as pills. I have some training in dogs with temperament issues. I also have experience in taking care of cats, fish and reptiles if needed. I just graduated with my masters degree so my schedule is all over the place, just ask me if I’m free and I’ll let you know! I have my schedule in advance normally. I have experience in crating dogs if that’s what’s required for your pet. My own dogs now are free roamers around the house so I have experience with excited or guarded animals when entering the home. I like being given clear directions so I know how to best care for your fur babies!

About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.
