2. Victoria L.

“Victoria is so good with our dog Dash! She’s so patient with him and makes sure he’s comfortable and has all the things they need (including treats!) for a successful walk! I’ll definitely be hiring her again!”

3. Amanda S.
“Amanda has been a passionate animal lover all her life. She has cared not only for dogs and cats but horses, birds, goats, rabbits and much more. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She has cared for both my dogs and cats, and they adore her! As soon as she walks in the door they greet her excitedly and show her all their toys. They will follow her around and want to snuggle and cuddle with her. My dogs respect her and also behave extremely well when she is caring for them. I highly recommend Amanda to care for any pet! She is the best!”

4. Lilliana C.
About: I’ve taken care of both cats & dogs, small & large breeds since I was 15. I took veterinary science for 3 years and I’m dedicated to keeping your pet safe and happy ! As of right now, my schedule is flexible. I have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. But I am able to take great care of your pets after or before my classes! I’m available for house sitting after 10 am starting Friday. I have a fenced in yard with 1 friendly small dog named Rudy(bichon frise) & 1 curious bombay kitten named Sauron. I had a calico cat named Gracie whom I no longer have but loved very much. I can bathe/groom, give medication to your pets if they take medication daily. Once I move into my new apartment, pets will sleep in the same room as me & will be feed 2-3 times a day ( depending on how your feeding schedules work, i can change that.)

7. Jonathan S.
About: I’ve taken care of 2 of my parent’s dogs twice all by myself and they said I did a good job, both times. I feed them, take them outside, and play with them in the backyard. I’m unemployed at the moment so i’ll have a ton of free time to take care of your pets. I’m available on weekdays and weekends. I feed my dogs and I have a backyard where I can take them out and play fetch with them. I also take them out for walks.

8. Abby M.

“Abby has done a great job with taking care of my dog. She has good communication and always leaves my dog happy! Would recommend”

9. Morgan R.

“Morgan is awesome! Boomer is already looking for her when she just left lol. She got here 15 minutes before scheduled walk for a “meet & greet”, with myself and boomer. I personally find that a great thing that she offers, considering the last Rover walker I booked with, didn’t even spend 2 minutes speaking with me before or after walk and no pictures. Morgan is very attentive and has a great personality! It makes me feel safe while boomer is with Morgan because she’s also in school to be a veterinarian! She also took photos of boomer and took him on a 2.15 mile walk! I couldn’t be a happier dog mom right now! I will definitely rebook with her when she’s available! Thank you Morgan and good luck with school! - from Boomer ? and Ellen”

He constantly puts his time and effort into helping others and ensuring that the people around him are always doing well. He is very dedicated and empathetic. The way that he is with pets and animals as a whole is AMAZING. His love for animals as a whole is incredible. He treats animals with the upmost respect and he’s so easy going with them.”

12. Chelsea W.
“Chelsea watched my beloved Shih Tzu Madison last minute in the middle of a big move. Chelsea took care of Madison like she was her own. I would use her again in the future if the need arises.”

If you're wanting a long term sitter to trust, Emma is who you want!”

18. Rebecca G.
About: I have cared for dogs in all stages of life. I really love dogs and the bond that is created between a dog and its owner. I have a border collie who needs daily stimulation and training so I would be happy to train as well. I have a daily routine with pet care as I have a dog of my dog. I think a big part of pet care is physical activity so I definitely try to do that every day. My dog roams free in my house because we have built trust to allow that to happen. Boundaries are set either at my home or a clients’ home.

19. Briar B.
“Briar is wonderful with pets, and has pet sat for me multiple times. She works with animals currently and is able to adapt and care for each pet in a way that works best for the animal.”

20. Genevieve B.
About: I have been around animals my entire life and have worked with a variety of different breeds and species. I grew up on a thoroughbred racetrack in Upstate New York and had a little Samoyed that was rescued from a terrible environment. Along that timeframe, my parents saved a goofy Dutch Shepherd from the road after being hit by a car. I never had much of a problem with either of them and I took care of the Dutch Shepherd till he passed at the age of 16. When my family got out of horse racing, I began handling and riding horses and have ridden ever since. I have experience in various disciplines, horse caretaking, and cleaning stalls. As for dogs, I showed my yellow lab in 4H, which was quite demanding, especially since my lab was essentially a female version of Marley from the movie Marley and Me. Despite that, we placed 1st in obedience and 2nd in two other events. My current dogs are both rescues and their names are Blaze and George. I love taking them on walks, bike rides, swimming, and many other things. I am comfortable with everything from puppies to senior care. I am also willing to take care of cats and will consider taking care of other types of pets also. Recently, I have started a Doctorate program here in Virginia, so my availability can be variable at times. However, I am very flexible as most of my course material is delivered online. Please feel free to message me to see what my availability is as I will do my best to take care of you and your pet's needs. Every day I take my dogs out, feed & water them, and do an activity that they like to do with them. That activity could be taking them for a walk, playing ball, going for a car ride, or even snuggling on the couch. I try to keep my dogs as active as possible as it is good for their physical and mental health. I can do the same for my clients dogs as I don't mind going the extra mile.
