About: Every since I got my first cat my life has never been the same. Now I always love to take care of all my pets for my friends and family house sitting and long walks. I'm a college student, so over the summer I have copious amounts of free time that allows me to flexibly take care of pets throughout the day. About: After I graduated college many years ago, I worked with an animal rescue before entering into a veterinary career. After more than 10 years in general vet, ER vet, and specialty vet -- when we moved back to VA, I decided to switch careers and I've worked from home ever since. I'm comfortable caring for dogs & cats with special needs and complicated medication schedules. I also have experience with exotic pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, bearded dragons, freshwater tanks, and saltwater tanks. I own a bearded dragon and have several fish tanks: 55g fresh, 30 salt, 10 fresh, 3.3 pico salt. I work from home (and have for 10 years). I have two in-home dogs - french bulldogs, one male, one female, both fixed, friendly, and ready to play! I have my own dogs on a pretty steady schedule. They go out around 4-5am (when my partner wakes up), come back to bed, out again at 8am, eat breakfast, another potty break around 10-11 am, out again around 1-2pm, 4-5pm, dinner around 8pm, out again, and one last potty break before bed usually somewhere around 10-11pm. When your dog stays at our home, they'll get regular potty breaks and their usual feeding routine. If they need alone time, we have the space to give them their own space, time in the yard, and time for cuddles by themselves. We have a 4' tall chain link fence around our yard. Our two dogs love to go out often and explore. We have dogs on three sides, so plenty of fun to be had. Non-dog-friendly dogs would not do well in my home at this time. At your home, I'll follow your schedule and details for what your pets are used to. If you have exotic pets or fish tanks, let me know! I offer exotic or fish tank rates, as well. I have a full time job, but it is very flexible and I work from home so I'm able to work with most requests with ease. In my home, I have a fenced in yard and am able to let your fur baby out at least every 2 hours. If I am in your home, during the week I might be working, but thanks to my flex schedule I can work around most anything up to and including walks and playtime every couple hours.
About: I've had both cats and dogs of all ages and really love spending time with animals. As someone who has frequently had walkers for my own dog I understand how important it is to know your pet is being watched by someone who can give them ample exercise and show them lots of love when owners are away. I'd love to be the one to give it to them! I'm good with dogs of any level of energy and size and love to play! About: I will take care of as if my own. I tend to get attached and fall in Love fast with furry friends. It’s actually called baby kitty syndrome. Like when you want to squeeze them so hard you will hurt them. Lol I need something to do with myself and make a little extra cash. I’ve lived with dogs, cats, birds, fish and rabbits all my life. I rescued 2 dogs, brother and sister, from the woods when they were 6wks old. They made it to be 16. I do have issues with my left leg/foot and lower back. That balance gives me a lot of consistency and time to focus on what matters day to day. I take safety and trust seriously when it comes to animals and their environment. In the past, I’ve crate-trained my dogs and learned how to create calm, structured routines that help them feel secure and well-behaved. I’m comfortable setting boundaries in a gentle but consistent way, depending on the needs of each pet. My home is also very pet-safe, especially because my current cat is extremely curious and determined to investigate everything. I’ve adapted my space to keep hazards out of reach and ensure it’s a safe, enriched environment where pets can explore without getting into trouble. I pay close attention to what they can access and how they interact with their surroundings, so safety is always built into the way I live with animals. 🐾
About: I’ve taken care of Dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, chickens and reptiles!! I love caring for animals and would love to care for yours when needed!! I’m currently working from home and can work from anywhere. I can adjust my schedule for when I’m needed to accommodate you and your fur babies! I sit with your fur babies, love them and treat them as if they are my own! I love all breeds and type of animals I’ve been taking care of my babies and other peoples babies for over 20 years now. I love all sizes and breeds and will love yours too! I care for your babies just like they are my own. They will get snuggles when they want them and very well taken care of.
About: I have had dogs from puppies to seniors and they have all have been a part of my family. I have experience training puppies and even teaching old dogs new tricks. I have a wonderful home full of dog love. My family and I have boarded friends and neighbors dogs and they rely on feeding, bathing, walking and provide plenty of love and attention. I currently have a wonderful English Lab, so this requires me to feed, walk and play with him throughout the day. I welcome some friends to join us in this daily routine. I have a decent sized home with plenty of room. Dogs can roam freely in a safe environment and will enjoy nice walks in my small community. Water is always available from a gravity water bowl, treats available for training/tricks or just cause. Depending on how your dog sleeps at night, kennel is available or they can jump in bed with us!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My parents taught me how to train kittens and puppies. I love to walk my neighbors’ dogs around the neighborhood and I take care of them when they go on vacation. I currently am working part time so I have plenty of time to watch your pets! I can do any time of the day or overnight, as long as I get notified a week in advance. I currently have a 6 year old yorkie who I trained when he was just 6 weeks old. He is the absolute sweetest and loves other animals. I am perfectly fine to work in any home with dogs and/or cats. I will make them happy in their home.
