I’m Pet First Aid & CPR certified, have completed a course in Veterinary Assistant training, and am trained/certified in Fear Free™ - Leaders in Animal Wellbeing. While studying Fear Free, I have learned valuable information regarding dog body language, stress signals, and how to create a calm, positive environment for each pet. This means I use gentle handling, reward-based interactions, and stress-reducing techniques to make sure your furry family member feels comfortable and cared for at all times. My goal is to provide not just a safe place, but one where pets truly enjoy their stay, whether they’re here to play, rest, or cuddle up for some quiet time. We love visitors of all walks of life; seniors, puppies, and everything in between. Beyond errands needing to get done or going to town for appointments, I am always home. My husband assists in care when he is home as well. We have a lovely dog of our own - so they are always in our schedule with potty breaks, play, eating times and everything in between! Our acre is fenced and ready for exploring, relaxing, and playtime! We also have three children that are eager to shower your family member with an abundance of love and attention.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was eight years old. I’ve owned many different breeds of dogs and cats. I’ve trained both dogs and cats. I currently work full time Monday through Friday and have the weekends off. I work from 7:30 to 4:30 but am free afterwards. I am willing to work with you. About: I've always been in a household that has had at least one dog growing up in California to my travels here to Oregon 9 years ago where I fell in love with the state and made a home here. I have had goldens and labs, and have taken care of a wide variety of sizes and shapes of pups, from the smallest pup to the sweet yet slobbery Mastiff. I currently have one dog who is my boyfriend's service dog, she is a 4 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever that is the calmest dog until you get her football out! Then the play never stops. Since she cannot go to work with him anymore, she would not mind a buddy to play with. We constantly take her for walks and runs and swims. Very dog friendly house I have afternoons open and available and almost every weekend! I love getting out and walking dogs around the neighborhood or taking them to a park I have a fenced in yard for Cammie or any dog to run around, go outside to take care of their needs, or chase a bird or squirrel! The high school field is right down the block that we can go to any time

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a youngster. I had a diabetic dog for years, so I'm aware of the need for medications. I LOVE dogs and cats of all sizes and ages. I am an avid walker, so would love to get a good hike in with your dog/s. There is nothing better than curling up in the evening with a dog or cat to snuggle with. I'm retired so I'm willing and available to travel and stay at your house thereby relieving the stress your pets endure staying in a kennel or at other people's homes. If I will be taking care of pets for several days, I would prefer to care for the pets in your home. I currently don't have accommodations to care for pets where I live.

I am currently in school and have a very open schedule. I am able to come and stop by or watch overnight. I am very reliable and have my own transportation. My cats are all free range in the house and we have gates put in place so they can have their own space.
