About: I love all animals - ESPECIALLY DOGS! I have my own dog, Jackson. Jackson is 13 years old - he's friendly and the ambassador of my home. I recently moved to Eugene into this AMAZING home on 1/2 acre that's 100% fully fenced including a driveway gate. I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years. I have saved stray dogs off the street over 20x in the last couple decades, I just know how I would feel if I lost my best friend. With that said I have a dog friendly safe home with a big park like yard. I can also separate the yard into 3 different sections if needed. Come by and check it out! Please tell me about your pet's needs and personality. I want your dog to feel at home and comfortable at my house during their boarding and day care stay. About: I have cared for many family and friends’ pets and am a dog mom myself. I have a spacious fenced backyard and a 11 lb pup for your furry friend to play with, my chiweenie Loki. I work from home and live a couple blocks away from the Amazon trails and dog park. I am very flexible to give your furry friend attention as needed throughout the day. About: I have spent my life as a pet owner and I like to treat everyone's animals the way I would like mine to be treated. I have, at one time or another, owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, rabbits, snakes, rats, goats, horses, and chickens and am comfortable caring for many more. I know this site is mostly limited to dog and cat care, but I'm happy to pet sit anything. I am happy to care for pets either in my home or in yours and I'm very flexible regarding my schedule. Every day I care for my own household animals, and I'm more than capable of taking care of plenty more. My animals include 3 dogs of varying sizes, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Though I have plenty of experience with other animals as well. I'm happy to either host animals in my home or venture to pets in their own homes. I believe that my job in caring for a person's pets is to adhere to their wishes for their pets. I want to follow the expectations set for any individual animal. I love to lavish animals with love and affection, but that isn't the right approach for every animal and I need to respect the wishes of their humans within the scope of safety.
About: Growing up, I've always taken care of at least 3 pups/cats at any given time and have been raised to treat them like siblings rather than just animals. I've done almost everything in pet care you could think of including grooming, bathing, feeding, boarding, staying over for long hauls, etc. And if given the opportunity I would love to care for your pets as if they were my own, creating a good experience for them while also easing your mind during your travels or workdays. I am off 4 days out of the week so during those times I can be completely committed to your pet! The days I do work I am able to leave to take out pets multiple times during my shifts, so rest easy, they will not be alone for too long. I am a very mailable person and can bend/adjust to you and your pets needs; just let me know beforehand :) In my home, I do own cats and they are okay with dogs and cats. If I am needed to stay over at the client's house, I will follow all house rules set and will to not deter from your usual schedule with the pets lives (same walking times/routes, play times, etc.) Each watch/play date is different so whatever is most advantageous to the client's interest along with the pets comfortability and happiness is what I will do :)
About: My experience started with our family dog, I learned to care for Maggie with love compassion and an attention to detail for her unique needs. I moved on to pet sitting my friends dogs making sure to play, brush, and walk them regularly. I have experience administering oral medication, training, and clear dog communication (approach from the side, start with a pet on the chest, show an open hand etc.) I've volunteered with the humane society for 2 years and have experience dealing with dogs that are traumatized and timid. About: Growing up I’ve always had cats, dogs, and even birds. Because of always having that experience, I think I do an amazing job of taking care of my very spoiled pets back at home. Since I’m a senior in college, my class schedule is pretty open now. I’m available almost every morning and evening with additional flexibility as well.
