“Tessa and her family are so wonderful with Ruger. He enjoys his time with them so much. He loves playing with Duke and any other dogs that are staying with them. He comes home a happy and tired boy. So grateful to have such a great place to leave him.”

“We had an outstanding experience with Erika. She really went the extra mile in being prepared, communicating well with us and giving Ruby a lot of exercise, as well as companionship with her dog. Highly recommended.”

“Howser thoroughly enjoyed his time with Angie and her pups! It's so comforting to know he gets to be with a true dog lover when I need to be away from him.”

“Joshua and Jenny were wonderful with my dog, and I so appreciate their flexibility with meeting me in the late evening and ensuring Daisy had a cozy place to spend a long day while I was busy with meetings on a visit to Eugene. Daisy was nervous at first around the big, but gentle, dogs in the home because she is teeny tiny, but they gave her time to get used to everything and settle in, and by the end of the day Daisy was so comfortable she was eating her dinner, which historically she is too antsy to do at new sitters’ houses! Daisy says thank you to Jenny for the lap time and snuggles. And communication with Joshua was always extremely fast, which put me at ease. Thank you both!”

About: Super experienced with pitbulls and puppies. Dogs are special friends who add a high level of joy to my heart ❤️ I say hi to all the dogs I pass on the street ☺️ I am a single parent with 50% custody and work part time so I have extra time for full time love for your dog family members ❤️ I live 2 minutes from a sweet dog walking area around a lake and I prioritize making sure the dog’s needs before leaving for the day!

“Hoppy is a bit of a handful and is always up to something, he seems to enjoy the small groups of dogs Michelly places him with and he comes home tired, so I know he's been playing all day. I highly recommend.”

About: Growing up with pets, I learned at a very young age, that our family dog did not like being ridden like a horse! While I've been around dogs all my life, most of my experience has been acquired during my adult years. I (Laura) am a freelancing Designer, and my husband (Lawrence) is a retired Registered Nurse. Together we have many years of experience raising our own family dogs: First we had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, then two Yorkshire Terrier's, and currently a Pomeranian mix... ...We also raised a couple of boys, and their motley-menagerie of creatures. I think my heart doubled in size, when I realized I could combine two of my favorite passion's; hanging out with furry little Lapdogs, and creating miniature fashion's for Sport! I also really enjoy doing 'Street' photography of doggies and their humans. Dogs bring us so much joy, we just love making a fuss over them! We live near Downtown Cottage Grove, in one of it's walkable historic neighborhoods. Ours is a child-free home, offering 'Boarding' and 'Daycare' services--hosting only small lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. Additionally, we also do 'Drop-in' visits in 'your' home for small and medium size dogs. Our fully-fenced backyard features a variety of tree's and flower gardens, with lots of room to romp and play. It's complete with a covered patio that provides protection from rain or sun year around. Most importantly, we want you to feel worry-free, while we keep your doggie safe and happy! We are available full-time to provide pet care. Occasionally, I freelance from home--where I make and sell custom-fit dog wear, including alterations on existing doggie wearables. My husband is retired, so we have very flexible schedules to accommodate and host our Lapdog friends. We can host up to three Lapdogs per day/night. We also can do 'drop-in' visits to your home, for both small and medium size dogs. Well, around here, it's safety first! We host only Lap-size dogs up to 18 lbs. (Also, we only take small breed puppies.) Ours is a child-free home, with a fully-fenced backyard. We can host up to three dogs per day/night. I always sleep in the same room with our visiting doggies--either on our comfy sofas, or our king sized bed. My husband is a retired Registered Nurse. Please be mindful that visiting dogs need to be current with vaccines, flea & tick prevention, and an identity tag. We also have zoned heating and air conditioning throughout our house. There's several doggie-beds, toys, and crate (if requested) or feel free to provide your own. Also, we want to know about anything you think would be helpful in making your Doggie's visit a successful stay. We offer lots of love, cuddles, and belly rubs!
“Joel & his wife were wonderful. We dropped our old lady blind pup Gouda with them, so we xoukd explore Eugene and areas for the day. They took us at the last minute and gave us great and kind service!”

“Mari and Steve provided a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They took extra care to make our dog and us feel at ease, communication was quick, and our dog left daycare happy and well loved!”

“Diane was really conscientious about introducing the dogs and how my senior girl would acclimate and I really appreciated that as Lucy is not used to day care. She was flexible about time, has a nice big back yard and a calm demeanor. We will stay again if back in the area!”

“Hannah is amazing! She made my clingy and anxious chihuahua feel comfortable and right at home. ? I’m very particular about who I leave him with and she is friendly and answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I received photos and updates during his stay! So glad I found her! Thank you!”

“Thank you so so much for being patient with little ball of anxiety. I am so glad Oaks liked it. I highly highly recommend Valerie. Thank you also for keeping me in the loop with how she was doing, it helped me :)”

“I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my dog Juniper. She felt right at home in Jamie's house and with her family. They gave her lots of attention throughout the day and even took her to hang out with the neighbors' dogs. Jamie sent me updates and lots of pictures throughout the day and that really helped to ease my anxiety while at work. 10/10 would recommend to everyone for dog sitting and I will definitely be bringing Juniper back to Jamie in the future!!!”

About: I am a seasoned puppy and dog owner with 10+ years experience of dog sitting for neighbors, friends and family. I am knowledgeable of the Eugene area and with caring for reactive dogs. I am a recent homesteader with a few years experience caring for goats, horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens and ducks. I love fostering an environment where dogs get to have fun and farm animals feel loved. Our two dogs are treated with respect and lots of love. Plenty of couch and bed time mixed with running around the property and playing fetch. We have a doggy pool for when our pups get too hot on those sunny PNW days. We treat client’s dogs as we treat our own. Licking and cuddling allowed!
“Ying is absolutely fantastic! He took great care of our dog, making sure he had lots of exercise and affection and treats! He sent lots of videos and pictures during the day so we knew he was in good hands. We are very picky about who we trust with our dog and Ying is top notch! We have already booked another day with him. Thank you, Ying!”

“Claire was patient and kind with our younger rescue dog, Quince, who can get stressed in new environments. Our senior dog, Duncan, seemed to do great. We appreciated the pictures of their day and were happy they were comfortable enough to settle in for a snooze. Their home seemed warm and inviting with plenty of comfy spaces to cuddle up. Claire had some good insight for future visits, and we hope to be able to have our boys in her care in the near future.”

About: Hi there! My journey in professional animal care began early, shadowing my mother in her animal behavior and care business. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of species—including dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, cattle, goats, and rabbits—which shaped my understanding of how to meet animals where they are: emotionally, behaviorally, and physically. While I am not a licensed dog trainer, I’ve spent much of my life developing a thoughtful, intuitive approach to animal care. My professional background includes extensive training in wildlife handling and care techniques. During college, I volunteered at the Cascades Raptor Center in Eugene, assisting with the daily care and rehabilitation of birds of prey. Over the years, I’ve also provided pet care for friends and family, building trust through reliability, compassion, and a deep respect for each animal’s unique needs. Now, I’m excited to offer my experience and dedication to the local community. I’m Fear Free Certified for dogs, and while I’m not certified for cats or other animals, I apply many of the same principles across species: 🧘♀️ Creating low-stress environments 🐾 Respecting boundaries and body language 🛏️ Offering comfort, routine, and enrichment 🐕🦺 Using gentle handling and positive reinforcement In 2024, I worked with shelter animals at Greenhill Humane Society, where I received extensive behavioral training and advanced to independently care for dogs and support enrichment for cats. That experience helped me develop a deep understanding of animal behavior, stress signals, and how to build trust with pets from all backgrounds. What I offer: 🐶🐱 Drop-in visits, walks, feeding, litter care & medication support 🧶 Enrichment activities tailored to your pet’s personality 📸 Daily updates with photos and notes 🐾 Experience with seniors, shy pets, and those with special needs Whether your pet is playful, reserved, or somewhere in between, I bring calm energy, reliable care, and a genuine love for animals to every visit. Thank you for considering me — as someone who has also used Rover for my own pets, I know it can be daunting to find the perfect fit for your furbabies. Pet care is a natural part of my daily rhythm. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, a drop-in visit, or extended overnight care, I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs without the constraints of a traditional 9–5 job. Because I’m home-based, I can offer: 🐕 Timely potty breaks and walks 🐈 Calm, low-stress drop-ins for cats and small pets 🐾 Flexible scheduling for last-minute requests Whether your pet needs a quick check-in or more involved care, I’m able to integrate it seamlessly into my day, ensuring they get the attention and comfort they deserve. I currently do not offer in-home boarding, but I provide personalized care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Whether it's a quick drop-in, a longer visit, or multiple check-ins throughout the day, I tailor each session to your pet’s routine and emotional needs. Because I work from home, my schedule is flexible—I can accommodate midday visits, early mornings, or evening care depending on your pet’s habits. I focus on creating a calm, low-stress experience by respecting their space, reading their body language, and offering enrichment that suits their personality. Your pet gets: 🐾 Familiar surroundings and routines 🧘♀️ Low-stress care with gentle handling 🐕 Walks, playtime, feeding & medication support 📸 Updates so you stay connected I treat every visit as a chance to build trust and make your pet’s day better. Whether they’re playful, shy, or need extra patience, I’m here to meet them where they are.

“Jennifer and Josh were very accommodating and flexible with my situation, and took great care of Angel while she was there! As this was my first time using Rover, and the fact that I was visiting from out of state, there was some natural trepidation to leaving my pupper with someone. But given their years of experience, and updates/photos throughout the day, I knew my girl was in great hands and I didn’t have a single worry or concern. I can recommend their service wholeheartedly!”

About: I recently trained my high energy border collie mix puppy and although he’s still a teenager, he’s turned out to be a calm, caring, and gentle pup. Most of my pet sitting care has been done for cats, but I have house sat for a family with a Newfoundland, so I have experience with large breeds. I also have cared for a smaller dog that has OCD and separation anxiety. Thanks to the research and dedication that went into puppy training, I’m well aware of what their body language is signaling, and how to adapt according to what they’re feeling. I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. My weekends are pretty flexible as well. Most of my plans are in the evenings (if I do have plans). I give my pets a predictable routine. The cats need a lot of attention as they’re very social. I take my pup to the dog park every couple of days, but I also tire him out through walks, herding games, and mental stimulation.
