While studying Fear Free, I have learned valuable information regarding dog body language, stress signals, and how to create a calm, positive environment for each pet. I am currently in school and have a very open schedule. I am able to come and stop by or watch overnight. I am very reliable and have my own transportation. I have fostered a wonderful environment for my pets at home. My dogs fully trained on and off leash. He has excellent recall and trust with me. My cats are all free range in the house and we have gates put in place so they can have their own space. While watching others pets I am very proactive and careful of where I bring them and watch them carefully.

About: Hi, I'm Desiree! I live in the hills in Southwest Eugene with my family & fur babies: four dogs, a cat, and a bunny. So animals are my everyday life. I know that leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I treat every pet like one of my own: lots of attention, consistent routines, and clear updates so you never have to wonder how they're doing. I currently work full time but my position is one that I get to work from home. So I am available anytime to watch the animal or walk them. My dogs and bunny would stay upstairs and there is a whole living area on the second floor. There is a gate on the stairs separating the living areas (due to my dog having bad hips). Your pet gets a fenced yard / daily walks and outdoor time, regular meals on your schedule, fresh water, and plenty of attention and play. I'm comfortable giving medications and following special diets or recovery instructions, and I'll send photo or video updates during every stay. Dogs sleep inside with us. We can do a meet-and-greet first so your pet can get comfortable with me.

“I was so impressed by Sha's rapport with my animals. She agreed to a long stay with 2 unruly puppies, 2 older dogs and a cat afraid of new people. I felt bad about leaving her with my gang of critters and for so long, almost 12 hours, but she handled them well and I was able to fully enjoy the event I attended without worry. Sha clearly has extensive knowledge about different animals and displays that when she interacts with them. On my arrival home, my animals were fed properly and my house was in good order and Sha survived with a smile on her face. I absolutely recommend Sha to anyone, especially if they have numerous and diverse animals. Sha has established herself as my go to pet and house sitter.
