About: I have helped raise three kitties! I have additionally helped to raise a puppy who was a bit reactive and required additional training. While it was tough, it was very rewarding and I appreciate the way it helped me better communicate with my dog. I am currently taking a break from corporate work, and would love to spend my summer regrouping but doing one of my favorite things: Hanging out with and helping adorable animals! I am extremely flexible with my schedule, and willing to travel. Currently, I care for my pets by providing weekly brushing, daily feeding, daily litter box cleaning/rotation, weekly litter deep cleans, and play time. For dogs, I am comfortable, feeding, walking with a harness, collar, as well as a gentle-leader for our more reactive friends. While doing home visits, I am comfortable and happy to supervise outdoor/backyard time. I love long walks and am comfortable with dogs up to 100 lbs.

About: I have two dogs in the past since I was 6, they died in last two years for being too old. I found this app to love other pets as my pet. I will have time in day times as a student schedule, which means usually all holidays and normal weekdays is available for me to look after pets I am patient with all kinds of animals until they are trying to attack me which may cause me extra money for Medicare but unless they hurt me , I’m always kind

About: I have cared for my relatives' dogs for approximately 10 years. When they have been on vacation I have either cared for them in my own home, and driven to theirs to ensure their dogs are fed and walked. I personally love going on walks on a regular basis, so dog walking is a joy to me. I work a full time job, but my schedule is flexible and allows me the ability to do pet care on the side. My availability is more open Friday through Monday mornings. Safety is definitely a priority so my goal is to make sure your pet is safe, has the right amount of food and water, and has a clean environment to roam in while their owners are gone. I also allow your pet to get comfortable with me, and am very mindful of their boundaries.

About: My boyfriend calls me a dog whisperer. Every dog we encounter on our walks comes to me first and gets so excited to see me. I have a pretty flexible schedule with my kids being in school and only working part time, so I have the time to give your pups some attention. I have a friendly clean home. I have a dog park close to where I live for socialization and expending energy. . I do have a crate if need be.

About: We adopted our dog 13 years ago at 5 months old, and for the past 9 years I have been very involved with fostering and volunteering for a local rescue. This has given me so much experience with many different dog personalities. helped me learn how to best introduce them to our environment and to our own dog (who is a gentle giant, even adjusting to very small puppies being fostered here) and has given me so much more knowledge about dog behaviors in general. I have fostered 30+ dogs thus far, handled at adoption shows, transported dogs to vet visits and selected adopters for my fosters. I feel very qualified at this point to give your dog all the care and love they need and deserve while you are away! I am home during the week and as long as a dog gets along with our dog I am very happy to have them here Your dog will always have plenty of love and attention when they are with me, and their needs will always be met. When they are here they are family! I am retired and home all day. If your dog likes to sleep in a room with someone, they can either sleep on the bed with me or on their bed or in their crate in the same room with me We are in a townhome with a walkout patio. I love to spend time outside with the dogs, and they are always secure with a leash or tie out cable. I am always with them. We are very careful about doors opening, and people coming in and out. Your pet is safe with me.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a child, and I work hard to make sure they have a comfortable space to relax and play, while still being safe and mindful. I have two small dogs that love hanging with other small dogs, our cats, and making new friends! I work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays and have easy access to walking paths for the pups all day! I provide several nooks and corners for visitors to get comfortable in too. They’ve free range of the living room and kitchen area, which has three different beds and a few pieces of comfort furniture for them to lounge on if they so choose! We have a big sliding glass door that exits to our yard area (always on leash when we’re outside) and leads right to the walking paths around our quiet neighborhood.

About: I am a college student who loves animals and will treat them as my own! I have pet sat in the past and want to do it much as much as possible because of how much I enjoyed it. Over the summer I only work part time at night, so I have a lot of time during the day to pet sit or walk pets. During the school year, I am a student at the University of Iowa. I love walking dogs in my free time and I am very open to drop in visits as well! I have a fenced yard and love taking pets on walks. I am rule follower, so I always follow diets/restrictions that owners have set for their pets.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs isn’t just a side job — it’s a lifelong passion. I’ve been raising and loving dogs since I was 12, starting with our family pup, and now I care for two sweet (and energetic!) beagles of my own. That hands-on experience has taught me so much about dog behavior, communication, and building trust, especially with high-energy or vocal breeds like beagles. I’m confident handling everything from playful puppies to more senior dogs who need a slower pace and a little extra TLC. I also understand how important routines are, and I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, affection, and attention to detail. I currently work a full-time job, but I dedicate part of my week to pet care because I genuinely love spending time with animals. I'm available for dog walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting on Thursdays, as well as most Saturdays and Sundays. This schedule allows me to give pets my full attention when I’m with them — no rushing or distractions — and makes weekends perfect for overnight stays, longer visits, or more involved care. Since I currently don’t board pets in my own home, all of my care takes place in the pet’s home environment, where they feel most comfortable and relaxed. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all care instructions closely — from feeding times and medications to favorite toys and walking routes. I also make sure they get lots of affection, attention, and play (or rest!) depending on their personality and needs. For overnight stays, I keep your home tidy and secure, and I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make your time away feel completely worry-free — for both you and your pet!
