About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was 7 years old. I have experience walking dogs, feeding pets, cleaning up, and spending time with them. I have two pets of my own a black cat named velvet and a goldendoodle dog named Chloe. Im currently working on part time, im available Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies!! And we’ll have lots of fun together hopefully. I have a smaller backyard but it’s spacious I also live in more of a small neighborhood so there’s a lot of sidewalks for walking your fur babies
About: I’ve had pets in my life since childhood, growing up on a farm with dogs, cats, and horses. Caring for pets is second nature to me. Since moving to the U. S. 20 years ago, I’ve looked after friends and neighbors’ dogs, including diabetic and senior pups that need extra love and attention. I treat every dog like family, with patience, kindness, and genuine care. I’m a UCLA nursing student currently doing clinical hours only three days a week, which gives me plenty of flexible time throughout the day. That means I’m able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, and long walks. Whether it’s daily check-ins or longer stays, I can easily fit pet care into my schedule and make sure your pup feels loved and cared for. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine so they stay comfortable and stress-free. In my home, I have a fenced yard and a beautiful neighborhood for walks. I also stick closely to their usual schedule. No matter the place, your pet gets consistent, loving care.

I am diligent in following directions and am willing to meet any specific needs to ensure the well-being and happiness of every pet in my care. I currently have morning and afternoon free time. If you have scheduling questions, please ask! I would love to work things out and care for your pet! I follow directions well, so if there are any specific needs I will do my best to meet them. “Holly was amazing! Very communicative. Asked all the questions someone who genuinely cares about your pets comfort and well being. Our little guy struggles with being left and she handled it like an absolute pro. 10/10!!!”

About: I have been a dog owner since I was 12years old. I’ve cared for friends and neighbors dogs. Whether it’s going for a walk or dog boarding for a few nights. Even if you have a big yard for your dog, they still need that walk around the block with a human partner. I learn that each dog can have a different personality. Dogs can also have different immune systems and with some dogs they can have allergies or sensitivities to certain foods, shampoos, outdoor grasses. Taking a dog on a walk at least once a day helps improve blood pressure, cardiovascular fitness, and of course makes muscles and bones stronger. When a dog is scared of meeting someone new. You first want to let the dog smell you. I like to make sure they feel comfortable around me and/or the home I live in. I reward the dog with a treat for every good deed. I always ask the owner for the rules they apply at home, so I can follow them without confusing the dog. Remember, I am a dog owner and currently own 3 beautiful dogs that are more like my children. I will care for your dog as I care for my own. I do ask that your pet is fully vaccinated and is also comfortable being around other dogs. I’m available the full week of Christmas & New Year’s Day for dog boarding only. I am currently not offering pick up or drop off services at the moment. Thank you. I have a fenced yard. We recently said goodbye to our 15yr. old Golden Retriever. We have 1 German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix, and 1 small Maltese/Shih-Tzu pup. We recently welcome a new fur baby into our family. I also have an almost 2yr. toddler! Your pet must be kid friendly. All my dogs are spayed and neutered. If your dog is friendly and playful. My home welcomes any new FUR-friends for a nice friendly stay!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Roseland
Taylor was fabulous! I have an anxious fearful GSD who is very high energy. I have never left him with anyone since we picked him up over 1 month ago at the shelter. Taylor specializes in these dogs and was able to put him at easy immediately. He had so much fun running with the other dogs and looking at the chickens and horses. She kept in touch and sent me videos so I could see he was doing well. Taylor was great and Anderson had so much fun with his new friends

We booked Sheila last minute and she was able to accommodate care for Gabby. We booked a tour with Safari West which was less than 20 minutes from her house. When we got to her home, she greeted us and Gabby appeared to like Sheila right away, so much so that we called her “Aunty Sheila”. It made me feel at ease knowing that Gabby would be cared for by a stranger who felt like family. While we were away, Sheila sent us a photo of Gabby playing with a chew toy. Sheila’s home had everything Gabby needed (crate, toys, and a big fence yard. We would definitely use her again!

Ashley made us feel very comfortable leaving our 2 pups with her. Our meet n greet with her, her pup and her baby went well. She was very communicative and sent photos and videos during their stay. We will definitely look her up again as we all (pups included) we’re happy with Ashley. Thank you again Ashley!!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Roseland commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
