Private Hikes & Individual Care
Daily private hikes are intentional, structured, and limited to just three dogs total, including my own. Every outing is thoughtfully tailored to each dog’s energy and comfort. Outings may include Sonoma County trails, beach visits, or backyard play areas always thoughtfully managed with safety first. Off-leash options are available with pet parent approval and once I know your dog is confident and responsive. What sets me apart is my limited, home-based approach. This is not high-volume or kennel-style care. Boarding and daycare spots are intentionally limited to ensure personalized attention, balanced activity, and consistent supervision. I offer thoughtful, individualized care in a calm environment where dogs are treated like family. With a lifetime of animal experience and a professional background built on responsibility and trust, I bring structure, reliability, and genuine compassion to every stay. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your dog is happy and well cared for. DeJa, my energetic Vizsla and official Happy Dog Adventures playmate, is AKC Canine Good Citizen certified and helps create a fun, stable dynamic for visiting dogs.

Sherry is the absolute best!! Truly nobody takes better care of my puppy than she does. Sherry is so kind and knowledgeable and she sends so many updates. My puppy was recovering from a paw injury while staying with Sherry and she kept a close eye on it and was constantly making sure he was comfortable and happy! Nothing more I could ask for from her🫶 he comes home exhausted and so happy from lots of adventures with Sherry and DeJa!

Could not have picked a better sitter!! We did multiple meet and greets on and off Rover but are super picky for our overly spoiled dog, once we met Sherry we knew our pup was in good hands! Sherry went above and beyond when watching our dog Rosie! We had lots of photos and videos of them having the best time, Rosie was so tired when she got home! I feel beyond grateful to have found Sherry and have a trusting, safe place for our pup to go when we need extra help or are out of town. Would recommend 1000%, best dog sitter in Sonoma County for sure!!

Schedule
After years in a demanding leadership career, I realized my greatest joy was found outdoors with dogs and hiking trails, with fresh air, and wagging tails. Now retired, pet care is fully integrated into my daily routine. Dogs enjoy morning outings, mid-day enrichment, and calm evenings. They are rarely left alone and benefit from a consistent, structured day. Pick-up and drop-off services are available for an additional fee.

Dogs are carefully introduced and matched by temperament, and I monitor energy levels, terrain, and comfort closely on every outing. This is a structured, limited-capacity home environment where each dog is known, understood, and genuinely cared for.
