About: I've always had a dog. I had dogs growing up, I adopted a dog when I moved out on my own, and I adopted another dog when my children were old enough. Dogs are an important and special part of the family. I enjoy giving them attention, taking them for walks, brushing them, and of course, cuddling with them. I am observant of their communication styles, and use my observation skills to make sure I attend to their needs and keep them happy. I lost my special girl recently, and this is the first time in a while I am without my own dog. I would love to help you care for your dog while I decide whether to adopt again. I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am available to go for walks and give potty breaks almost anytime day and evening. I live in a townhouse that does not have a fenced yard. However, I used to take my dog for several walks per day for both exercise and potty breaks. Dogs are welcome in any part of the house, or can be restricted to downstairs, depending on their needs. I am happy to visit your pet in your home to offer a potty break, take for a walk, or just give some attention.

“We booked Sheila last minute and she was able to accommodate care for Gabby. We booked a tour with Safari West which was less than 20 minutes from her house. When we got to her home, she greeted us and Gabby appeared to like Sheila right away, so much so that we called her “Aunty Sheila”. It made me feel at ease knowing that Gabby would be cared for by a stranger who felt like family. While we were away, Sheila sent us a photo of Gabby playing with a chew toy. Sheila’s home had everything Gabby needed (crate, toys, and a big fence yard. We would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of my families puppy and my own kitten for about 2 years now ! Ive taken care of other peoples dogs in the past as well! I’m efficient and competent. Im currently a college student, so I spend most of my time at home and just in general I’m a home body. So, I have enough time to care and tend to pets and their needs. I’m very attentive to my own cat and families dog. They both have feeding schedules and are potty trained. I’ve taken my time to make them good pets. I’ve showed the same amount of attention and affection to other peoples pets as well.

Afternoon walks are also something I prioritize, it’s not only important for your pup to get that exercise but I like to decompress and enjoy nature as much as I can during the day. One of my favorite things to do is to go on refreshing walks and spend quality time at the park with my dog Jinx, and I'm sure your pup loves that too! If they are on the more relaxed side, I'm happy to spend indoors play time and/or simply cuddle. I have a 7 year old pup named Jinx who is friendly and loves a walk but if we go to the dog park he ideally loves just doing his own thing, he's more of an introvert 😂 Rest assured, your dog's safety is paramount to me. I have a spacious yard, which provides the perfect play area, it is not fenced so I use a secure 30ft leash when any dogs play outside, so your pup can enjoy freedom while being safely supervised. I also have a partner who lives with me and he has a heart that melts for dogs, so your fur baby is in safe hands. So, if you need a responsible and loving dog sitter, I'm here for you! About: Currently being a stay at home mother, my hours are very flexible! Growing up with cats and dogs, my kiddos and I are currently lacking the fun presence of furry friends! Although my apartment is not the biggest, allowing only one dog at a time allows all of my attention to be focused. If pets are to stay overnight you can expect daily walks, trips to dog parks and most likely a bath if we get too ambitious. I am an adventurous person that believes dogs have individual personalities and unique characteristics that should be embraced and loved. Allowing pets to cuddle up on the couch MAY be negotiated because I am a sucker for puppy eyes. I am currently a stay at home with my three kiddos. I home school, so including a dog in the mix is so much fun for us! We often go on walks and trips to the park. I have a fenced yard, doggie door for easy outside access and loving, gentle kids to keep your animals company with lots of love and play.

In the last 9 or so years my love for being the “dog aunty” of my social circle has grown into a career and I have professionally cared for pets of all shapes and sizes, and with a wide range of needs and personalities. I am confident and comfortable using a crate, both indoors and if needed for transport in case of an emergency. In the case of an emergency medical issue, I am quick to respond and have a good relationship with several local vet hospitals.
