Paz has some sort of gift for getting animals to take medications - hopefully she'll offer a "how to" class at some point! And Paz stays in very frequent contact, sending updates and lots of photos. About: I’ve been caring for animals since grade school and truly can’t remember a time without pets in my life. I grew up with two dogs, Bailey and Shakespeare, a cat named Tooka, and a rotating cast of birds, fish, hermit crabs, and other small chaos-makers. I’m very comfortable with all kinds of pets, personalities, and quirks. 😊 For over a decade, I’ve been my sister’s go-to pet sitter, and more recently I spent three years in Southern Vermont house and pet sitting, caring for homes and animals of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. As a seasoned thru hiker and outdoor enthusiast, I love taking pups for long walks and soaking up the sun. I’m quick to respond, reliable, and responsible. I also genuinely love hanging out with animals and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and a bit spoiled while you’re away. “We cannot recommend Adam enough as a house/dog sitter. It is always so hard to find someone trustworthy enough to stay in our home and take care of our amazing boy. Adam was communicative, trustworthy, and reliable allowing for us to have a relaxing vacation knowing that our pup was safe. About: I have had pets my whole life. Cats, dogs, birds, and fish. I love all animals and would love to help you and your fur babies! I would also like to add if you live in NJ I do ask for reimbursement on tolls I can do middle of the day walks if needed. I am also available during holidays and weekends. Evenings work mornings will have to be on a as needed basis Schedule walks for dogs smaller dogs have to go out more often for shorter walks larger dogs for longer walks. Cats need their boxes changes daily to weekly depending on if there is a robot little box or not. Water must always be filled and feeding schedule depends of the animals needs.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old! I’m a cat owner of 4 years myself as well, and my kitty is my very best friend. As far as sitting, I have done mostly done overnight stays, but I have done pop ins and walking as well. I’ve sat for small dogs and large, puppies, kittens and elderly pups. I absolutely love spending time around and caring for animals. I do work part time, usually averaging about 5 shifts a week. I make my own schedule biweekly, and my shifts are generally no more than 5-6 hours, so my hours are extremely flexible depending on when I’m needed! I am all for play, walking, and unlimited pets when I dog/cat sit. I will pay careful attention when it comes to letting them out if there is a fenced yard, as well as to their collar and leash prior to taking them out on walks. A pet owners directions are very important to me as far as feeding/potty/medication times, and I take the responsibility of caring for any animal very seriously.

Ben was a great sitter for our Italian greyhound! He was very communicative with us which was reassuring - with texts, photos, and videos. He was gentle with our 10 year old pup, who was friendly with Ben right away! Ben was also really responsible staying in our home and left everything very clean. We look forward to having Ben staying with Lucy again soon!
Carol was by far the best sitter we have ever had and was an absolute angel by willingly taking our dog to the emergency vet and sitting with him for 4 hours on the last night of her stay. We were being overly cautious but following the recommendation of our vet to bring him in (not because of anything she did) and Carol was a great partner in this in making sure I was on the phone in the room and also providing necessary inputs. Throughout the trip, though, she was extremely communicative and extremely attentive to every one of our requests and following his routine. Brody is a very needy boy, but she handled him so well and provided excellent care. Could not recommend her enough and will be using her in the future!

We are so happy to have found Paige to watch our two girls, Gracie and Scout. Paige was wonderful with the girls, taking them on walks and cuddling in front of the tv, and kept us updated with texts and lots of pictures. It was such a good feeling to know our girls were safe and happy while we were away.
