About: I have been around animals all my life. Grew up on a farm & helped with the horses, chickens, cows, cats, dogs. Currently training a bernedoodle, Dunkin, for the Southern Wisconsin Therapy Dog Association. Dunkin will visit nursing homes, student centers with autistic and special ability facilities, some medical facilities based on needs. If you ask family & friends, they’ll tell you that I cannot pass any animal without affectionately acknowledging them. And only if the animal is willing, I will give lots of love. I genuinely enjoy animals far more than people. ;) I have taken multiple levels of dog training courses. I also enjoy riding the family horse, Apache, in my free time. I have a pretty flexible work schedule but I work most days 8-4:30, M-F I am available before work, after work, evenings until about 10-10:30pm and weekends. Or overnights if booked. In client’s homes, I would use whichever method they prefer. If they leash potty an animal, I will do that. If animal runs in fenced in yard, I will stand in yard & wait. If they have a special request for animal, I will discuss with client if I am capable of said request.

I grew up on a farm so I have experience taking care of all sorts of different animals I work for a school district so I have fairly short hours during the day and have weekends off. About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I have a 7 year old golden named bode. I am familiar with medication distribution and other restrictions. Bode was diagnosed with lymphoma at 5 and has been in remission for 2 years. I grew up with labs as well as shitzus and my dad has a 9 year old golden. I would prefer to meet any candidate prior to boarding as they will be in the same space as my golden, he’s a gentle giant and gets along with all animals. He is a service animal so I have experience in training and younger dogs as well. I work from home full time and have a lot of free time to give during the week. Weekends are busy for me at the moment but will slow down come winter. I work from home so week days are great I have a lot of flexibility for walks and play time and potty breaks.
