About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for neighbors, friends, and family since I was 13. I also have 4 pets of my own: a dog, 2 cats, and a rabbit. I love all animals and work well with them! I have experience with other animals besides dogs and cats as well. Your furry friends will be well taken care of with me! I work full-time as a music teacher, but am available for pet check-ins in the early morning, afternoons, and can house-sit on weekends. I am also available for afternoon drop in visits! Cats and dogs are fed twice a day and get plenty of playtime and snuggles! I make sure my dogs get plenty of exercise and potty breaks.

“Second time we have had Melanie watch our cats and once again she did a great job. We will definitely be looking to book her again the next time we are out of town.”

About: I love animals! Cats, dogs, horses, pigs, and peacocks, I've cared for them all. Let me show you why I love animals, and more importantly, why they love me! I currently work remotely, so my schedule is flexible. Let's chat and see how we can align your pet care needs with my work schedule. My own pet is a huge part of my life. He's spent his 15 years of life with very few days without me. My care for him will be mirrored in my care for your own furry family member.

About: We are an active, animal-loving family! When your dog stays with us, they will get beach and trail walks, playtime in our fenced yard, and lots of love and attention. We have taken care of our own dogs and cats for decades, and have both been around them since we were children. We also have a 7-year-old daughter who has been raised around dogs since she was born. She loves them and is gentle and kind. Our dog Selkie is very well socialized and gets along with every dog she meets. Through the years, we have cared for many dogs and cats and other animals belonging to family and friends. We have also had great relationships with dog sitters who cared for our own pups, and we know that it can be nerve-wracking to leave your pet in the care of others, but that it can also be a really fun and positive experience for them. We both work from home and live close to a great dog beach and many trails. We are always with our own dog, and our flexible schedules let us tend to any dog's needs as they arise. Our dog Selkie loves to have visitors. Safety and security are a priority, and we are careful about traffic, unknown dogs and other hazards. We live on a quiet dead-end street and our backyard is securely fenced. We work from home, so we can keep a close eye on the pups. Our own dog is a very playful and friendly 18-pound mystery doodle, is well accustomed to all dogs, and loves company. She is one year old and is spayed. Because we have a small child and a small dog, we can only host dogs that are known to be good with children and other dogs.

About: I’ve looked after dogs and cats alike for several years now. I pride myself on ensuring that your furry family member is safe and well cared for while we’re out and about on a walk, or when you are away! My full-time job concludes at 3pm each weekday, so I am available to walk or look after your pet during afternoons (after 3) or evenings, or at any time during the day on weekends! I love to get out in the fresh air on long walks and have plenty of experience taking care of cats and dogs when their family is away, be it for a night or for a week! You know your pet and their needs best, so I work hard to ensure that your pet care requirements are constantly upheld, and that the quality of care you give your pet is maintained while they are with me. It is important to me to meet you and your pet first so we can discuss how I can best care for them!

“We were away visiting family for a month and it was the first time in a long time that someone besides a good friend of mine stayed at our house with our 3 cats. Of course I was a bit nervous with having a new sitter but Jill quickly put my concerns at bay. She was wonderful with communicating and sending photos of the cats so I was ensured that they were getting great care. Jill was also fantastic with keeping me up to date on other house issues. When we returned home, despite her being there for a month, the place looked like nothing had happened! Jill left the house so clean and had also take very good care of the outside areas. We could not have been more pleased and grateful with her stay and help!”

“Amanda was professional and friendly, arriving promptly and providing regular feedback during our absence. My two dogs were very well cared for and enjoyed her visit thoroughly. Amanda is what an experienced pet sitter should be; we highly recommend her services!”

About: Hi!! I grew up with dogs, a pit lab and a yorkie, and I used to clean dog kennels and feed them at the pope humane animal shelter! And I recently a few months ago did a two week house sitting/ dog sitting job! I am a huge fan of dogs :) I’m a recent college student who has always just wanted to take care of people’s pets while at college, unfortunately it’s much more difficult up there, but now I’m home and I get the chance to see others pets more easily! It fits in super well currently, I’m available usually 24/7 just need to know at least a few days in advance! I make sure that I keep my eye on animals, especially puppies/kittens. I know they can be all over the place, I like to stick near them and make sure I have available numbers in case something were to go wrong.

“I always feel confident when Amy takes care of our cats. She makes sure she knows what their food/litter needs are and then actually follows the guidelines we give. And she spends time with them too while we're gone. She recently also helped me give one of our cats medicine -- it went more smoothly than it does when my husband helps! She interacted with our cat calmly and thought ahead to make sure he would be comfortable and feel safe.”

Gael & Bridget M.Star Sitter
“Gael and his family are not only great with their own pup, Selkie, but they're wonderful with our doggie too! They take him for regular romps and adventures, always returning him happy and perfectly tuckered out. They have ample outdoor space for playing, and a beach nearby where the dogs can really run and galavant. I highly recommend the kind, caring folks!”

Emma R.
“I've had the pleasure of working with Emma for several years, both professionally at Dance House Productions and personally as a fellow pet lover. Emma is incredibly responsible, prompt, and communicative — qualities that I truly value. She has a natural ability to stay on top of things, ensuring every task is handled with care and attention to detail. In our work with kids, Emma consistently brought a calming presence to the team, making her someone others could rely on in any situation. This same calm and patient demeanor translates wonderfully when she’s caring for animals. I’ve witnessed her dog and cat-sitting firsthand, and it's clear that she has a deep affection for animals and takes the responsibility seriously. Emma is not only great with pets, but she’s also very attuned to their needs, ensuring they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. If you’re looking for someone who is not only reliable but also a warm, caring, and communicative pet sitter, I highly recommend Emma.”

Aleshia A.

“After 15 + years of having Patricia (Pat) look after our animals I can wholeheartedly endorse her for looking after yours. Whether it is for your dog(s) or cat(s) or any other pets you may have, I cannot believe she would not give them superlative care, and love and affection. She is like our modern day version of St. Francis of Assisi. Our local vets and vet techs all know Patricia and would tell you the same thing: she is the best there is.”
