About: Recently lost my 14 year old corgi named Penny. The house feels very empty and since I’m not looking into getting a new dog I thought dog sitting would be a nice option to try. Fenced yard, hardwood floors, easily divided up rooms if needed. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5 but if needed would be able to come let a dog out during lunch. I love dogs and would treat any animal as if it was my own. I work Monday - Thursday 7:30-5. Able to come home during lunch to let a dog out if needed. My evenings are very open and can be dedicated to the dog I am watching. Fenced yard, no children or dogs in the home. There is an inground pool but dogs will be monitored. No neighbor dogs on either side to cause dog stress or barking

About: I have over 10 years of experience taking care of babies/toddlers, cats and dogs. I currently have my own dog but have lived in a multiple animal household (2 dogs, 2 cats and a kitten) as well as taken care of 2 toddlers that lived with 3 labs. Family, friends, or by word of mouth, I have been relied on to take care of their fur babies. I will care for your pets as if they are my own. I work full time throughout the week but I am remote so I am home for most of the day. I will be available to let out as many times as needed as well as stay as close to their normal routines as possible. I enjoy going for walks throughout the day to get away from the computer so they will enjoy some walks (weather permitting). I prefer to keep your pets in their own home where they are most comfortable and familiar. They will have company throughout the entire day unless I have something planned in the evening. If I do have something planned, I will run it by you to ensure that I know their routine for when they are left alone. For any drop ins or walks, with me working from home it is not hard for me to transport myself for the day or to take breaks. If a pet needs to come to my home, it is an upstairs apartment located by a park which is great for walking and a very calm neighborhood. With whatever service you decide, I will send you daily pictures/videos so you are able to truly enjoy your vacation knowing that your fur baby is being taken care of.
“We have high-strung but affectionate little dog who we had to leave for one of the first times since adopting her for a family vacation out of state. JoAnn was an excellent choice. She took such good care of our girl, playing with her, giving her lots of time outside in her big back yard, encouraging and supervising play with neighbor's dogs. And she provided constant communication with many photos. She even kept Minnie a little longer than anticipated due to a flight delay. We would definitely book with JoAnn again!”
“Dan and his family were excellent dog sitters for our pup who stayed with them for 3 nights. She is 7 months old and this was our first time leaving her with anyone so I was very nervous. We did a meet and greet and Dan and his family made us feel comfortable right away. During her stay, he was very responsive to texts and gave multiple updates about what they did and even sent pics! They have a nice background where our girl was able to run around and play and their house is very spacious and clean. They took her on multiple long walks during her stay and when we picked her up on Sunday and brought her home I could not believe how exhausted she was! She’s a puppy with lots of energy so to see her passed out means she must’ve had a great time getting lots of attention and exercise! I definitely would not hesitate to have Dan dog sit again for us and I’m grateful to know I now have someone that she & I both trust & feel comfortable with. I don’t have enough words to explain how amazing Jessica is! She is truly incredible. I felt so calm and relaxed during my trip because she always kept me updated and made me feel like I was still there with my babies. 🥹💗 She took them on lots of walks, made sure they were comfortable, and gave them so much love and attention. Her dog is also absolutely amazing—so friendly and sweet, and helped my girls feel even more comfortable and at home. 🐶💕 I’m so glad I chose Jessica to take care of them. It's been a long time since we had to board Milo, a rescue, and this was the first time since we lost his brother, who Milo was strongly attached to. This didn't help his separation anxiety and other issues, baggage from an abusive puppyhood. But none of this phased Jackie. She took Milo in stride and provided a welcoming temporary home for him. Her place is spacious, offering room to roam and corners for curling up. Confident that we've found somewhere Milo is well cared for and secure, we will plan our future weekends away and vacations around Jackie's availability.
Amanda was wonderful with Loupy! I was a bit anxious as this was my first Rover experience, Loupy can be a bit of a nervous nellie, AND I was going to be completely out of service for four days, but Amanda was so easygoing and sweet with her that I immediately felt at ease. Loupy had a great time! I will absolutely be reaching out to Amanda again the next time I'm out of town.
Jennifer was great with our dog Sadie. We were nervous at first leaving her to someone for her first time. Jennifer made us feel at ease and made the whole process flawless. Sadie did great in her care and now she has new friends Jennifer and Matilda . We can't thank her enough. It all worked out great and will definitely book her again in the future.
Cecilia & Amy and the kids were fantastic. As a husky owner it’s never easy to just leave your dog with just anyone. Huskies need to be understand. They tell you exactly what they need and want if you listen. As soon as I touched base I knew this was the perfect place for my Shia for 10 days. All of her favorite things: other husky friends and kids. I received frequent updates and she had a blast. I almost thought she wouldn’t want to come home. Highly recommend. I didn’t worry for a moment whether she’d escape or anything. All the right intake questions were asked. We will be repeat customers.
