About: Animals have always been part of my life. Growing up, our family was constantly rescuing strays, helping lost pets find their way home, and occasionally falling in love and adding them to the family ourselves. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I currently share my home with my 11 year old son, our Australian Shepherd, Otis, and our two bearded dragons. I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. When your pet is with me, they’ll be treated like family. Whether they love long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. While I haven't owned a dog or cat myself, I've had a guinea pig and have experience caring for my friends' pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, and giving them lots of attention. In the past I have watched my sisters cats multiple times while she’s been away and friends have asked me to watch or walk their dogs when they are unavailable. I understand how important it is to follow routines closely and respect each pet's unique personality and needs. I am currently a full time student in university, but I have free time on certain weekdays which includes Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2:30 or before 11am where I will have plenty of time to do drop in visits. I am completely available on the weekends from Friday to Sunday. When I’m in a clients home I am respectful of their space and make sure to leave everything just the way I found it. I keep pets on their usual schedule, I always spend time giving extra attention and comfort so they don’t feel lonely while their owners are away. I send regular updates and photos so owners know they are in good hands.

Animals are sometimes better than people so I understand how much love someone can have for them which means it's very important that I take care of your loved one as if they were my own. Full with love and adventure or cuddles! currently working part-time in the evening three times a week so I have plenty of time to fulfill all your dog sitting or walking or checking in needs. My apartment is cozy next to a big outdoor mall so it's a great place to go on walks. It was cozy for any pet to enjoy my company.

About: Hello pawrents! I'm Betsy, and I'm here to offer your fur babies a home away from home. When it comes to hosting your four-legged friends, there are a few ground rules. First and foremost, I want to emphasize that our doggie friends would need to be house trained and non-destructive. Crate-trained is preferred, but not a must. To make sure everyone including your and my fur babies are comfortable, I would prefer dogs that can be comfortable in the same environment as my cat. Now, why should you trust your beloved pets in my care? Well, besides growing up in a household that was practically a Noah's Ark (complete with kittens and puppies), I've volunteered with ASPCA and Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue. I know a few things about pet care, but I am not an expert. Living with housemates who had their own mini zoo of dogs and cats taught me interspecies diplomacy. I've successfully negotiated treaties over squeaky toys and mediated disputes about sunny spots on the couch. So, if you're jetting off on a well-deserved vacation or just need a helping paw when life gets a bit too ruff, I'm here to provide a loving and secure environment for your pets. Let's work together for an ameowzing barkcation! 🏡🐶🐱 I work from home so I have a lot of free time aside from a few hours everyday that I’m busy with meeting. This means that I can give your furry babies the attention they want and deserve almost all day. This also means I’m almost always available to provide updates or be reachable when you need me. Please note that even though I'm available all day, I would discuss a schedule that works best for you and your baby. Frequencies of updates, play time, and potty breaks will be discussed prior to me accepting the booking. I follow instructions if you have detailed needs for your pet. I’m a methodical person open to technology when it comes to caring. I have a detailed itinerary that I can share with you that includes a list of questions that I will ask and note down any behaviors/schedules I need to follow. I will also, at minimum, provide an update in the morning and evening that includes detail such as how they're doing.

About: While I don't have much traditional dog-sitting experience, growing up, I had 2 dogs, a Maltese and a Maltese Shih Tsu mix. My last dog, Oreo, was a Maltese-Shih Tsu mix, who passed away from old age when I was in college. I was always diligent about training him, and I often bathed him myself. He was fully potty trained by me with the help of google, and he knew plenty of cute tricks. He also had a tendency to run off every chance he got, but I was always able to find him easily and bring him home safely. I also had regular play dates with my cousins' dogs, and sometimes I would dog sit for them. I'm pictured with my cousin's elderly yorkie, Roy, who was rocking his sunglasses in his little bag because he was incontinent, couldn't walk any more, and needed 24/7 care. I didn't want to get another dog after Oreo because of my busy class schedule and my finances, and now I travel for work, so I don't feel comfortable having to leave them behind all the time. I'm hoping I can spend more time with some fur babies until I can get a more stationary job, and hopefully get another furry companion! In the morning, I can check in as late as 7am before work, depending on distance. After work, I have an irregular work schedule, so I can often check-in as early as 1 or 2 pm. If I have a late night scheduled, the latest I head out is 5:30pm. If you trust me to enter your home, I assure you I am responsible and respectful of other's property, and I try to leave things better than I found them, if I absolutely have to move or borrow something. Im great with following instructions, so I can accommodate any special requests and respect and unique boundaries. I am also respectful of your pets space, and I will always start with a cautious introduction. I understand dogs and cats body language, and Im confident that I can establish a positive relationship with your fur baby, to make sure your absence, and my strange presence has as little stress on them as possible! I also understand that it can be difficult to be away from your fur baby, so I am willing to keep you updated however much you need to feel comfortable, especially the first time we work together.

Awareness and avoidance(as needed) of other people or dogs on walks, clearing and watching out for certain foods, plants, materials etc. that are unsafe for consumption, double and triple checking locks and that doors are properly closed, especially on entry and exit. My first mission with your pet will be to ensure safety and build trust so that they know that I am their temporary caregiver and permanent friend!

About: I have cared for my own dogs for 10 years. I potty trained them and trained them how to walk on a leash although I don’t have one right now as a busy grad student. I have dog sat for other neighbors, clients and friends ranging from a variety of dog breeds, ages, and energy levels. I work as a field naturalist where I have experience handling a variety of different animals including snakes, rabbits, frogs, rats etc. I am currently a graduate student and have time to walk your dog or check in on them when I’m not in class. I have class in the mornings. My dogs are crate trained and I have a fence to let my dogs out. when it comes to your pets I am comfortable letting them sleep in our out of a crate and can take them out on a leash for walks.
