About: I have always been an animal lover. I've had small, medium and extra large dogs! Growing up I was the kid that had rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. I obtained my vet assistant certification to learn how to better care for my pets and have enjoyed spoiling them ever since! I'd love to help care for your fur babies. I am currently working until 4pm but I'm available any time after and on weekends. My husband is home during the day so there is always someone home to look after our pets. I have a park very close by along with nature trails for long walks. I have a 6 year old large baby who is able to keep anybody entertained.
“That is a great addition—it shows she really understands different cat personalities, from the "spicy" ones who hate grooming to the shy ones. Here is the updated review with those details included: ### Review for Liz **Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** Liz provided incredible care for my three cats while I was away. It is always a bit stressful leaving a multi-cat household, but Liz handled everything with total professionalism and genuine care. She stayed on top of their specific needs, including: * **Medication & Maintenance:** She reliably administered medicine and kept the litter boxes spotless. Food and water were always fresh and topped off. * **Frank:** I loved the updates about her playing with him; she made sure he got plenty of exercise with his favorite laser toy! * **Rudy:** She even managed to give Rudy a good brushing—something he usually hates when I do it! She clearly has a magic touch. * **Ryan:** For my hider, Ryan, Liz took the time to find her every day just to lay eyes on her and make sure she was safe and doing okay. It’s clear Liz truly loves animals and respects their individual boundaries. I came home to happy, relaxed cats and a tidy home. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, patient sitter!”

“Nicole did such an amazing job taking care of my babies. Her kids were great with them and my dog definitely enjoyed having them around to play with while she was caring for them. I felt so much better while I was away from them knowing that she was caring for them.”

“Amy was absolutely amazing with our 3 fur babies!! She took wonderful care of them while we were away! I would definitely recommend her and will use her services again in the future!”

About: With two dogs of my own and five years of professional animal care under my belt, I’ve found that taking care of animals is my passion. I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in preprofessional animal medicine. Through my education, I’ve gained knowledge on animal nutrition, handling, anatomy, and behavior. Professionally, I’ve been working with small domestic animals for five years. Starting as a cat volunteer at the humane society, I learned to socialize, feed, clean litter boxes, and handle cats. I then proceeded to learn basic handling of rodents, rabbits, and reptiles as an undergrad. For my two most recent positions, I worked as a kennel attendant and dog handler. As a kennel attendant, I worked with rescue dogs and learned to properly sanitize crates and kennels, feed and handle medicine, and dog socializing. As a dog handler, I worked in a large and small dog boarding facility and strengthened my knowledge of feeding and handling meds. I became proficient in understanding dog behavior and maintaining a peaceful environment for large groups of dogs. As your pet sitter, I can promise I will put in my best effort to provide the same level of care for your furry family as you do. I look forward to becoming your pet’s temporary best friend! I have a loose schedule and am willing to care for your pets weekdays or weekends. Whatever you need, I am happy to work with! It’s your home, your rules. Whatever you’re comfortable with me doing, I will do! With proper instructions and effective communication, I am there to work for you and your pets.
About: I have watched many breeds and types of animals dogs, cats, birds, and more. I look at the type of animal it’s age and many other things to see how that animal needs to be taken care of! I can watch dogs any day on the weekend and most days after 5pm. I work in the military so that is why my schedule is so tight. (Relatively) I care for pets as if they’re my own animal! Animals are sweet and innocent and deserve the world because they take care of us when we need it.

Family and friends have always been able to rely on me when it comes to caring for their pets. My schedule is fairly flexible and can easily be adapted to their needs. While I usually require at least 24 hr notice for a booking, I am willing to accommodate you in the case of an emergency if I am able. For those who live within a 10 mile radius of me, I shall waive the pickup fee. Generally I follow whatever instructions are left and then add in a few enrichment activities. I also make sure they are introduced to the other members of my family so that they can feel comfortable with new strangers. I make sure that strangers do not attempt to pet my clients; this is for everyone’s safety the dog’s included.

They will receive attention, care, love, and a fun time! Please feel free to reach out to me for any further questions or concerns. I have a flexible schedule on weekdays and weekends. I have no children and on some days my 5yr old dog gets to be with me. Your pet will be my top priority to ensure safety & attention. About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. If I were to be in a clients home, I would do my best to ensure the animal stays in their routine and their feeding/medication is on schedule. They’d get plenty of play times and unlimited cuddles!
About: I’ve been passionate about animals my entire life, and I’ve had the joy of caring for a wide variety of pets over the years. From my very first fish and family cats to now raising three wonderful dogs and my beloved cat, Willow, I’ve developed a deep love and understanding of animals. With years of hands on experience, I know how to provide pets with the attentive, loving care they deserve. Whether it’s feeding, grooming, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I treat every animal as if they were my own. With an open and flexible schedule, I’m excited to finally pursue my true passion, working with animals. I have over 6–8 years of experience in pet care and pet sitting, and I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, from snakes, rabbits, and newborn kittens and puppies to farm animals like pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and geese. I am also pursuing a career in veterinary medicine! Whether I’m pet sitting or simply helping an animal in need, I do it out of genuine love and compassion. You can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands, I’ll treat them like family. All of my pets are fed twice a day with portions based on their weight, and grooming is a regular part of our routine. My biggest dog gets bathed as often as he’ll let me, and the others are brushed regularly because of their long fur. My cat gets her weekly brushing too, and I clip claws as needed! While I don’t need to walk my dogs since we have a fenced yard with a doggy door, I still love taking them on walks around the neighborhood. And of course, playtime is a daily must because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love that?
“Steven did a great job taking care of my cats. They seemed to warm up to him quickly and we're obviously very content and well cared for when I came home. I recommend his services and will use him again for future travel.”

“Jhon was super accommodating to a last minute request, very easy to coordinate with, and took perfect care of the dogs. Looking forward to working with him again!!”

About: I am currently working as a veterinarian technician at a small animal hospital. Working with dogs and cats and other small animals that I enjoy I am currently off on all weekends including Fridays, so I’ve had an open space where I just want to fill up my days . I am a very active person, I love enjoying the weather outside rain or shine. So I would love spending time with pets outside actively.
About: I personally have two dogs and two cats. I have spent about half of the last 7 years caring for friends animals ranging from daily visits with cats to a 6 month at one time boarding of a dog. I work full time so am usually out of the house Monday - Friday from 7 to 5. We have a small dog door that leads to a fully fenced backyard so dogs still have access to use the bathroom as needed. I have two dogs and two cats so the type of dog or cat that can stay with us needs to be okay with both. One of the dogs really likes to play with other dogs. He can play pretty aggressively and is also not neutered so I cannot watch unspayed females in my home. One of the cats was chased up a tree by a German Shepard and doesn't respond well to larger dogs if they don't give her her space. We have a setup where the animals sleep together in their own room and are only allowed on the furniture in that room. We have plenty of space and have spare crates if needed. The dogs always have access to a dog door except for when they go to their room at night to sleep. We have two litter boxes set up in different parts of the house and have spares that can be put out.
“My fur baby is not overly friendly. I didn’t think he would come out for Krystin but he did AND he let her pet him. I am amazed. Krystin has that something special pets sense. She is awesome!”

“Caitlyn did a wonderful job! She came before my trip to need Ophelia and learn what needed to be done and how to care for her. She showed up each evening on time and sent pictures , brought in package for me and let me know if anything was out of the norm! I highly recommend and will have her in the future!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 5 years through family, friends, and neighbors. I’m experienced with feeding routines, daily walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and providing plenty of love and attention while owners are away. I can comfortably administer oral medications, perform basic grooming like brushing and wiping paws, and I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Currently I am working from home which will allow for me to be as flexible as needed to watch all of your furry friends whenever necessary! I ensure that pets in both my home and my friends or clients' homes receive attention and loving care, tailored to their individual needs and routines.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rison. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
