“We recently hired Carlos to take care of our Bichon mix “Gus” while on vacation in FL. Gus is five years old and we've had him since he was 10 weeks and he has never stayed with anyone other than family or close friends. Therefore, we were a bit nervous about leaving Gus with a stranger. Well Carlos was amazing! We cannot say enough good things about the way he not only took care of Gus but also reassured us on a daily basis through photos and detailed texts how great Gus was doing. What a relief! Gus interacted very well with Carlos’s dog as well as a couple of small dogs that came and went during Gus’s fun stay. I obtained my vet assistant certification to learn how to better care for my pets and have enjoyed spoiling them ever since! I'd love to help care for your fur babies. Family and friends have always been able to rely on me when it comes to caring for their pets. My schedule is fairly flexible and can easily be adapted to their needs. While I usually require at least 24 hr notice for a booking, I am willing to accommodate you in the case of an emergency if I am able.For those who live within a 10 mile radius of me, I shall waive the pickup fee. Generally I follow whatever instructions are left and then add in a few enrichment activities. I also make sure they are introduced to the other members of my family so that they can feel comfortable with new strangers. I make sure that strangers do not attempt to pet my clients; this is for everyone’s safety the dog’s included.

I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. About: I personally have two dogs and two cats. I have spent about half of the last 7 years caring for friends animals ranging from daily visits with cats to a 6 month at one time boarding of a dog. I work full time so am usually out of the house Monday - Friday from 7 to 5. We have a small dog door that leads to a fully fenced backyard so dogs still have access to use the bathroom as needed. I have two dogs and two cats so the type of dog or cat that can stay with us needs to be okay with both. One of the dogs really likes to play with other dogs. He can play pretty aggressively and is also not neutered so I cannot watch unspayed females in my home. One of the cats was chased up a tree by a German Shepard and doesn't respond well to larger dogs if they don't give her her space. We have a setup where the animals sleep together in their own room and are only allowed on the furniture in that room. We have plenty of space and have spare crates if needed. The dogs always have access to a dog door except for when they go to their room at night to sleep. We have two litter boxes set up in different parts of the house and have spares that can be put out.

About: Growing up, my mom has always had at least 6 cats in the house and 2 dogs since i was the age of 10. I learned from my mom and sister to help take care of our pets and how to take care of them. So your dog will for sure have options of play during the day or while boarded with me.
