I'm Seyla, a dog enthusiast who's finally living the dream of having a furry companion. You see, my childhood dream of owning a dog was delayed due to public housing restrictions, but now that I'm a proud homeowner with a fenced yard, I've got my paws full! Currently, I share my home with four fantastic dogs who are not only friendly but also well-trained. My very first four-legged friend was Bruno, the Rottweiler, and we've been inseparable since he was a pup. Bruno received top-notch training at Apple Jack's K9 in St. Mary's County, and I've been using the valuable tools and techniques I learned there ever since. As if four dogs weren't enough, I'm also a part-time volunteer at "Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland," where we rescue animals from less-than-ideal situations. And, on top of that, I've opened my heart and home to foster dogs from the Humane Society of Charles County. It's safe to say that I have a deep and abiding love for our furry friends! So, why should you entrust your fur baby to me? Well, I've got about 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and I genuinely believe I offer the best boarding and doggy daycare service around, spanning a radius of at least 50 miles (if not more). You'll see for yourself that you're getting the most bang for your buck! If you adore your dog as much as I love mine, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with someone new. But I'm here to show you just how much I adore dogs by offering an array of wonderful activities. Your furry companion will join me on invigorating hikes and walks (twice daily), covering 1-2 miles each time, as we explore some of the finest parks (see below for the full list) in Southern Maryland, at least in my opinion! For those who enjoy a leisurely ride, your dog can hop into our doggy bike trailer as we embark on 2-7 mile adventures. And when the weather warms up, we've got a swimming pool for our canine guests to cool off in. Inside the house, your dog will have the run of the place (provided they're house trained), and they can choose from an array of toys to play with. To keep them well-hydrated, we have water stations throughout the house stocked with purified water, regularly cleaned and refilled. We won't even let them sneak off to the bathroom alone! Here in the wilds of Indian Head, Maryland, we've got a sprawling 1-acre playground enclosed by a fence that's taller than Shaq (okay, maybe not that tall, but it's secure). I've gone all James Bond with 21 motion detectors and security cameras, ensuring that every nook and cranny is under surveillance—inside and outside! We're serious about safety, folks! Now, here's the deal: we're all about accommodating friendly dogs. Your pet's safety is our mission, like it's our secret spy mission! 🕵️‍♂️🐾 And for those sneaky escape artists, the ones who think they're auditioning for the next great canine escape movie, we've got a secret weapon – the Fi GPS collar. If your dog has a history of vanishing acts or tends to pull a Houdini, consider it their high-tech tracking device for the duration of their stay. About: With two dogs of my own and five years of professional animal care under my belt, I’ve found that taking care of animals is my passion. I’ve earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a focus in preprofessional animal medicine. Through my education, I’ve gained knowledge on animal nutrition, handling, anatomy, and behavior. Professionally, I’ve been working with small domestic animals for five years. Starting as a cat volunteer at the humane society, I learned to socialize, feed, clean litter boxes, and handle cats. I then proceeded to learn basic handling of rodents, rabbits, and reptiles as an undergrad. For my two most recent positions, I worked as a kennel attendant and dog handler. As a kennel attendant, I worked with rescue dogs and learned to properly sanitize crates and kennels, feed and handle medicine, and dog socializing. As a dog handler, I worked in a large and small dog boarding facility and strengthened my knowledge of feeding and handling meds. I became proficient in understanding dog behavior and maintaining a peaceful environment for large groups of dogs. About: i’ve been taking care of the family animals since i was little. i wanted to be a vet growing up and even went to college for it. due to life circumstances i didn’t get to accomplish my dream. but i still spend time with animals daily in my own home so im happy. i’m currently working part time at build a bear in the mall so i have open days and weekends usually for anything you may need. i hope to work with you and find a fit in my schedule i have 3 dogs that i care for daily. feeding them and filling their water. we have a huge yard with a gate the dogs go play in daily. i sit with them for hours while they sunbathe and play.

About: I've taken care of a Cane Corse mastiff since I was 7, and I've taken care of French bulldogs since I was 7 as well. I can take care of big dogs or small dogs I currently work part time. I'm able to take your pets on walks, make time for playtime, feeding, and pay plenty attention to your pets. I care for your pets by making they feel safe, comfortable and loved while they're loved ones are away, following there normal feeding schedule and bathrooms schedules, especially on walks or runs.

About: I have nearly a decade of experience caring for dogs through work in dog daycares and as a pet sitter. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, stages of life, and personalities, and I can provide feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m also experienced with administering medications, including insulin, and am committed to keeping every dog safe, happy, and comfortable. 🐶💕 I am currently working part time and am available most days. My shifts are normally about four hours long, so I am able to be around for most of the day. I am comfortable with taking care of any dog. I am able to administer any medication need and I am able to follow any care instructions provided.

About: *Attention Students, Seniors (65+), and Veterans, please inquire about special rates when messaging me; Proof of veteran/student status required* I have taken care of dogs since childhood. Family and friends have always been able to rely on me when it comes to caring for their pets. My schedule is fairly flexible and can easily be adapted to their needs. While I usually require at least 24 hr notice for a booking, I am willing to accommodate you in the case of an emergency if I am able.For those who live within a 10 mile radius of me, I shall waive the pickup fee. Generally I follow whatever instructions are left and then add in a few enrichment activities. I also make sure they are introduced to the other members of my family so that they can feel comfortable with new strangers. I make sure that strangers do not attempt to pet my clients; this is for everyone’s safety the dog’s included.
