About: Hi! I’m Jasmine, new to Rover and currently offering discounted rates while I build my reviews. I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every pet like my own. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them truly makes me happy. I have over 20 years of experience, training in pet first aid, and a background in rescue and fostering, so I’m comfortable with everything from playful pups to shy or senior pets who just need a little extra patience and love. At home, I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I completely understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I also offer house sitting and light cleaning, so not only are your pets taken care of, you’ll come home to a tidy, well-looked-after space too. I’m happy to help with things like bringing in mail, keeping things clean, and making sure everything runs smoothly while you’re gone. Expect lots of updates, cute moments, and peace of mind knowing your pets (and home!) are in good hands 💛 I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve throughout the day. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting, and can easily fit into your pet’s normal routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. Whether your pet needs early mornings, midday check-ins, or evening cuddles, I’ve got it covered! I provide care in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their own space and routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, personality, and preferences to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for. With experience in pet first aid, rescue, and fostering, I’m comfortable handling a variety of situations and always prioritize safety. I’m also respectful of your home and happy to help keep things tidy, bring in mail, and make sure everything is just as you left it, or better, when you return. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and peace of mind knowing your pets are getting lots of love and attention while you’re away 🐾 I am happy to meet at a coffee shop prior to your booking so you can ensure I'm the right fit!

had a great experience working with Shang over a two week period. She walked and fed my dogs with so much care and reliability. I even had an “oops” moment where I mistakenly thought a day was booked when it wasn’t, and she was incredibly gracious and understanding when I reached out. Once we sorted out my mistake, she confirmed the remaining days and everything went smoothly. I truly appreciate her professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've cared for my own dogs as well as those belonging to friends, family members, and rescue organizations. I am currently volunteering as a transport driver for NorCal Boxer Rescue and Gettin' Home Transport, giving me experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. From energetic puppies to gentle giants like St. Bernards, I've worked with a wide variety of dogs and understand that each one has unique needs, routines, and temperaments. My goal is always to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while they're in my care. I am retired after 42 years with the federal government. I spend most of my time at home with my retired husband, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. Aside from occasional errands, I’m available to ensure your dog(s) receives consistent care and affection. Our home is designed with dogs' comfort in mind. We have a large, grassy, fully fenced backyard and a dog door that allows dogs to come and go freely at their own pace. In addition, I regularly take dogs outside for potty breaks throughout their stay. Dogs are treated like family here and are welcome on the furniture and beds. We provide pet stairs to help them safely access couches and beds, making them feel as comfortable as they would in their own home. Daily walks are offered during the cooler parts of the day, typically in the early morning and again in the late afternoon or evening. Providing a safe, secure, and loving environment is my top priority. Our large, fenced backyard offers plenty of space for exercise, play, and relaxation. We also share our home with two friendly, long-haired, five-year-old Dachshunds who enjoy the company of visiting dogs. We strive to maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere where dogs can settle in comfortably and enjoy their stay. We provide extra dog beds for guests, and if your dog prefers or requires a crate, you're welcome to bring your own. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, cuddling on the couch, relaxing in the yard, or simply being around caring people, they'll receive personalized attention and plenty of love while you're away.

Mo was awesome. She was comfortable and patient while caring for my oversized Doberman. He can be intimidating and selective at times with people but Mo was confident and addressed him in a way that gained his trust. They quickly became good friends and Doobie was happy and excited to see Mo when she came over to play and feed him. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. And I will definitely rehire her for any future trips I may take. I feel lucky tonhave found such a great sitter!!

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, versatility, and special skills. Not only do I currently dog sit and house sit for three families on an as-needed basis, but I also bring a wealth of experience in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I’m skilled at training puppies, which includes basic obedience and socialization techniques. Additionally, I’m comfortable with senior dogs, providing them with extra care and attention to meet their specific health and mobility needs. My commitment to understanding each dog’s unique personality and routine ensures they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. I currently work full-time in a community-based job where I have the flexibility to create my own schedule. I like to tailor my schedule around my needs for the week, with weekends being when I have the most availability. My current families prefer that I stay in their home, and I’m open to doing the same with other families as well When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions or routines the family has established. I ensure pets are fed on time, given fresh water, and get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also monitor their health, administer any needed medications, and keep the environment safe and clean. If there are specific needs or requests for the pets, I prioritize those to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in the absence of their owners

About: I have 4 kitties and 1 pup of my own. I have had no less than 3 cats my entire life, and am always helping the local strays as well, so I have loved cats of every type of personality and special need. I take my pup with me just about everywhere, so I have a lot of experience being out and about with a canine companion. My dog doesn't like other dogs, so I am also comfortable caring for pups that prefer not to be around other dogs. If you're looking to give your pup an extra special day out at a new park, I would love to bring them on an adventure! If your dog and/or cat is all about routine, I've got you. Playtime? I am so there! Or maybe your little one is a bit anxious and just wants some scratches and snuggles - I am here to make them feel safe and loved while you are away. <3 Whatever they need most, I am here to provide. I am a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, and as such, I have an extremely flexible schedule, so I can be available whenever it is that you need me the most! I always have access to my own car, so even if you need your pup taken to an appointment or to their most special favorite park, I am happy to do so. If you're looking for someone to stay with your pet all day and/or night, everything I need to do my freelance work is portable, so I can give your little one all the attention they deserve. :) I am the master of catering to the needs of all different types of pet personalities, as I have 4 cats and 1 dog of my own, all very unique from one another. Dylan took such great care of our pets while we were away this weekend. He came over ahead of time to meet our animals, get to know our house, and make sure he was prepped to come for the visit. He asked great questions, listened intently, and made sure to follow up. During the visit he checked in with us, sent us photos, and seemed to do well with our pets. I highly recommend Dylan for your pet needs in the future.

  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
