“Samantha was fantastic! My cat seemed to really enjoy hanging with her and she was very responsive and a great photographer too. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Markita is awesome! She checked in on my two kitties over the holidays and was super responsive and clearly cared about their wellbeing. She even offered to go out and pick up more cat food when she saw the bag was low, which was so above and beyond what I would ask and was very thoughtful. I would totally recommend her”

“Jenna was great for checking in on my pup while I was at work! She took lots of photos and a video of their time at the park. It’s easy to tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets and spending time with them. I’ll definitely continue having her take care of my pets!”

“Mo was awesome. She was comfortable and patient while caring for my oversized Doberman. He can be intimidating and selective at times with people but Mo was confident and addressed him in a way that gained his trust. They quickly became good friends and Doobie was happy and excited to see Mo when she came over to play and feed him. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. And I will definitely rehire her for any future trips I may take. I feel lucky tonhave found such a great sitter!!”

“I had to take a last minute trip for about a week and luckily Michelle’s schedule was flexible enough to watch my little guy. My dog is super high energy and she was very thorough in exercising him whenever she visited! It was my first time leaving him for that long, but having Michelle watch him eased my worries completely. I know he had a great time playing with her every day! Highly recommend!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, versatility, and special skills. Not only do I currently dog sit and house sit for three families on an as-needed basis, but I also bring a wealth of experience in handling dogs of all ages and needs. I’m skilled at training puppies, which includes basic obedience and socialization techniques. Additionally, I’m comfortable with senior dogs, providing them with extra care and attention to meet their specific health and mobility needs. My commitment to understanding each dog’s unique personality and routine ensures they feel safe, loved, and well-cared for while you're away. I currently work full-time in a community-based job where I have the flexibility to create my own schedule. I like to tailor my schedule around my needs for the week, with weekends being when I have the most availability. My current families prefer that I stay in their home, and I’m open to doing the same with other families as well When caring for pets in my client's home, I make sure to follow any specific instructions or routines the family has established. I ensure pets are fed on time, given fresh water, and get the appropriate amount of exercise and attention. I also monitor their health, administer any needed medications, and keep the environment safe and clean. If there are specific needs or requests for the pets, I prioritize those to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for in the absence of their owners

About: Since I was old enough to walk, animals have been a loving part of my life. Growing up in a household where pets were treated as family, taught me that every dog and cat has a unique personality and set of needs. I am particularly skilled at reinforcing consistent routines. If you are working on leash training or basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay,' I make sure to incorporate those into our walks so your progress doesn't stall while you're at work. I am also experienced with senior care, understanding that sometimes a 'walk' is more about a slow sniff-around-the-block and some gentle companionship than a fast-paced walk. My professional life is uniquely flexible, which allows me to be the reliable 'midday anchor' for your pet’s day. I have dedicated my Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, specifically to pet care. This means I am available during the most high-demand hours—when you’re stuck in back-to-back meetings or enjoying a weekend afternoon away. Because I don't juggle a rigid 9-to-5 office job, I can offer consistent arrival windows and the focused attention your pet deserves without rushing to the next appointment. I will treat your home with the same level of respect I’d want for my own. My process is thorough: I double-check that all doors are deadbolted, alarm systems are set, and water bowls are topped off before I leave. To keep you in the loop, I provide detailed Rover Cards after every visit. You’ll receive photos of our adventures, a map of our walk, and a summary of all 'business' handled. If a mess occurred while you were away, I handle the clean-up discreetly and thoroughly so you can come home to a fresh house and a happy, relaxed pet.
About: I’ve trained and cared for many dogs throughout my life, from agility training high energy puppies, to senior canine hospice. I’ve been a volunteer with the ASPCA since December of 2023 and have deployed to their cruelty recovery center in Ohio multiple times as a volunteer kennel technician. I currently work as a veterinary assistant at a small practice in Woodland, Ca I am currently working full time Tuesday-Friday 8am-5:30pm as a veterinary assistant, and Saturdays 8am to noon, so when I’m not at work, I love to spend my time giving your pet(s) the attention and structure that they deserve! I can stay overnight with your pet, or do daily check ins starting at 6 am. Any time I leave your pet unattended I will provide them with a safe form of enrichment to keep them busy.
“I feel like I’ve found a real gem with Stephanie! She is so caring with my elderly cat, Gizmo. I can always trust her, and she goes above and beyond to show me pics of Gizmo and a detailed write up of her visit. Thank you Stephanie!!”

About: I've spent my entire life caring for animals - over the years I've looked after more than 20–30 dogs and cats, each with their own personality and needs. That experience has taught me patience, empathy, and a deep respect for every animal I care for. Now I share my home with Teddy, my sweet Aussiedor who is incredibly friendly with both dogs and cats. My home is calm, safe, and full of love, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Why book with me: My home sits on a fully fenced yard with nearly 3,700 sqft of outdoor space - one of the largest private yards you'll find in Natomas. Your dog will have room to run, explore, and play freely in a safe, secure environment. I work from home, which means your dog is never left alone for long. I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar and comfortable. I also believe in giving back - I donate 25% of every booking to a local Animal Shelter here in Sacramento. At the end of each month I send every client proof of the donation. When you book with me, your dog gets loved & another dog gets a chance. my work-from-home arrangement offers flexible hours, allowing me to easily adjust my schedule to accommodate your dog's walks. Whether you prefer mornings, midday, or afternoons, I can make it work. However, please do provide me with a day or two's notice in advance, so I can plan accordingly. Just keep in mind that I won't be able to do walks after 8pm. Your dog's well-being is important to me, and I'm excited to work together to ensure they get the exercise they need. I care for pets with patience, routine, and a lot of affection. In my home, I make sure they feel safe and relaxed, with plenty of attention, playtime, and quiet rest. I follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, and medication so their day feels familiar. In a client’s home, I respect the pet’s space and stick closely to their normal routine.
