About: Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. That job was in-house care with my dog and all that included all that comes with it, feeding, playing and much more. Please let me know if I can be the one to help you! I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch. I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!

About: I have always grown up in a house with at least one dog. We also have had fish, a cat, and a lizard. Outside of my house, I have had experience sitting dozens of animals including dogs, cats, fish, chickens, and ducks. Of the animals some were puppies and some were elderly with physical limitations. Of the dates I am available, I should be open the entire day. I do not have a lot of other commitments during the summer which gives me a very open schedule. I have a huge heart for animals, especially dogs. Any time I am in charge of caring for an animal I do more than the bare minimum to keep them alive. I make sure to give them extra attention and give them plenty of exercise to ensure the best possible experience for both the animals and the family. I believe pets deserve more than just being fed twice a day, they deserve plenty of attention and quality time just like a human.

About: I did dog walking and dog sitting during high school for family friends and people in my neighborhood. I love animals and am willing to learn more about caring for them with your help. I currently own a 2 year old male cat and had a male dog in high school so I have experience raising and caring for animals as well. I am in the military stationed at JBLM. I am available on nights and weekends, with very few exceptions and can stay at the owner’s home dependent on where they live. I prefer to house sit in others homes, as mine is not very large on the inside. However, I have a park and dog park down the street from my home where other dogs often play.

About: I have had dogs since I was 10 years old! I currently own 2 dogs, one which I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old and she’s currently 9 and another who I adopted from the shelter last year and is currently 7. I’m very patient and loving with all dogs and have a keen sense of what a dog needs especially in an anxiety ridden situation! I am full time military but I am willing to watch dogs on the weekends or days that I am off! Trying to fill my time with things that make me happy, so what better way than to spend it with dogs!?! I have a fenced in back yard and 2 friendly pups of my own to keep yours company! I am able to crate your dog or let it free roam the house depending on your preferences. I allow my animals and yours on my furniture.

“I believe Alexis would make a great caregiver, I’ve known Lexie for years and she has helped care for my animals when I have been out of town. Caring for my animals isn’t easy ether I have a lot so it’s a lot of responsibility and Lexie never failed doing so. Lexie also works at a vet so not only is she around her animals everyday she’s around all kinds of animals helping them to get better.”

About: I've had my dog Molly for over two years and have always given her the love and attention she deserves. I love all pets and am very good at caring for all of their needs. Patience is my biggest strength, as I know that each animal is different and needs time to adjust to a new situation for a few days. I recently moved to the Fort Leonard Wood area and work at a job on base everyday from 8-4. Luckily my job is very flexible, so I go home for lunch almost every day to let my dog out. After work I take her for an hour long walk on a nearby trail, and sometimes get her to the dog park on base as well. On weekends I am home most of the day and spend it either hanging outside with my dog or taking her to walking trails or dog parks. I have a fenced yard and lots of room for pets to run around outside. There also are multiple rooms within my house that they can run around in and explore.

About: My love for animals started immediately! I was raised on a farm my whole life and now raise my kiddos on a farm. Our pets are our FAMILY!! We are kind and gentle,caring and so loving to our own animals and can Not wait to Love and Care for your fur family members! I have cared for animals on all fronts my whole life(feeding,bottle feeding,raising litters Goldendoodles, administering vaccines, grooming, vet spots, travel, livestock,showing Arabian horses, small animals, black angus cows, horses, donkeys, cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, turtles, you name it I've loved and cared for them. I would be delighted to care and welcome your Fur Family memeber into our home with open arms.. or paws(haha). I am here for any kind of pet sitting you need to over nite, park time, walks on our farm, week long stays. I have a outside fenced kennel area as well. I have 2 of the sweetest Goldendoodles that love new friends and one multipoo. We have a farm that we can take walks and go play fetch in the pond. I have a large crate if needed for crate trained pups. My home is a ranch style home no inside stairs and is cleaned daily. A very large front and back porch if the fur family members would like to lounge rather than play.
