I started working as a kennel assistant when I was 14 and went on to work at a local veterinary clinic from 2009–2023 before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I’ve met a LOT of animals over the years, from the super sweet to the wild and feral, and I love them all. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, and small animals; as well as giving medications and caring for pets who may need extra care. I have an easy going 30lb Pomeranian mutt named Teddy. My dog is very easy to get along with other dogs, as I have fostered and watched other animals numerous times in the years of me having him. I watch my brother’s pitbull mix named Hercules on a regular basis as well. I do have cats so would prefer if they were used to them, but have an area of my home doggy gated off so they can feel safe when other pets visit my home.

“Absolutely the best!! Left our chihuahua Bandit with McKenzie for 6 nights. McKenzie gave me daily pictures and updates on Bandit. He adjusted well in her home and became besties with one of her fur babies. She has a nice large fenced in yard so he got plenty of exercise & kept safe. Bandit is a spoiled baby & McKensie definitely treated him as if was her own baby. I couldn’t have asked for more. If I need a sitter for my baby again it will definitely be McKenzie.”

About: Animals have pretty always been part of my life. I started working as a kennel assistant when I was 14 and went on to work at a local veterinary clinic from 2009–2023 before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I’ve met a LOT of animals over the years, from the super sweet to the wild and feral, and I love them all. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, and small animals; as well as giving medications and caring for pets who may need extra care. I have several pets of my own, and I’m also the one friends and family call when they need someone to take care of theirs. I look forward to meeting your furry friends. I am currently a stay at home mom with open availability. I have several of my own pets that require daily care and lots of love. I have 1 pet friendly dog in my home and several cats. We also have a guinea pig named Potato! I am able to follow directions on care in your home.
