“Madelyn was amazing. She took such great care of our pets. We have never had a sitter before for our pets and she relieved all of my anxiety. Her communication was wonderful she sent. Lots of pictures couldn’t have asked for anything more or better care for our family members when we were out of town.”

About: I'm a geographical bachelorette currently stationed at Fort Leonard Wood and I love animals of every kind. I am an avid dog rescuer and foster Mama, but this past year have become quite familiar with chickens and farm animals. My husband and I have three giant dogs and eight fluffy chickens, and I am looking forward to getting some milk goats one day after I retire. Spending time away from my animals (and husband) is difficult, but I would love to come and give all of my attention to care for your animals while I'm here! I have decades of experience caring for a variety of animals big and small, and I am comfortable with caring for those that need some extra special attention. I work on base and have a generally flexible schedule for feeding and letting the animals out to use the bathroom or go for walks as needed. I can stay in your home overnight, or stop in to check on your pets as needed. Unfortunately I do not have the ability to do in home boarding at this time due to staying in military housing during the week. My primary availability is M-F, but could do weekends on a case-by-case basis depending on your needs. Feel free to reach out and let's chat!
About: I have experience raising five dogs from puppyhood from 8 weeks old. I work well engaging dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I am currently a mom of four large bunting breeds. I am great with handling dogs with anxiety as well as those that have social and/or separation issues. I am able to run your dogs is preferred over a long walk. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your needs accordingly. If a client has any special requests, I am generally always able to accommodate. I have a fenced yard with sufficient land for play (about a 1/4 acre). The inside of the house has plenty of room as well the the basement is a designated pet play area.
“Mowgli had a wonderful time. We were nervous leaving Mowgli since this was his first time being away. But everything turned out good, Robert took good care of him. Highly recommend him.”

“Alissa was perfect! We felt bad because our Internet went out for a few hours but she was understanding. She left our house cleaner than when we left. And most importantly, she took such great care of our dog! She made sure he was fed, walked, and loved on. We’ll absolutely have her back!!”

About: I’ve baby sat for my family’s pets since I was 16! I love doing and i’ve had lots of experience. From puppies to seniors and even birds and lizards! I have a decent size back yard and lots of room to play!
“Savannah was great! She stayed in touch before, during and after her stay. Cody was calm as could be when we got home so we know he was completely unstressed in our absence. Will definitely use Savannah again!!”

About: I’ve had pets since I was born! I specialize high energy dogs and in pets with anxiety and fear of storms! I am also trained in administration of meds to cats and dogs! I love all animals and love to play with them! I’m currently working part time at a coffee shop! I usually get off at a decent hour and I can always use my break to check on fur babies! I will care for pets by making sure they are content and happy! I will ensure that they have fresh water and food! I will also make sure they have a clean environment to be restful while their loved ones are away!

About: I stand out because I offer dependable, personalized care that fits each pet’s routine and personality. I’m comfortable with young pets that need extra patience, consistency, and reinforcement of basic training, as well as senior pets that may need a gentler pace, medication support, and close attention to comfort and mobility. I focus on keeping pets calm, safe, and happy, while giving owners regular updates and peace of mind. Pet care is a natural and meaningful part of my daily routine. I build my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, making time for consistent walks, feeding, and calm, attentive companionship. I’m home often with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide steady care throughout the day and a peaceful, secure environment overnight. Whether it’s daytime visits or extended stays, I focus on creating a balanced, comforting routine so each pet feels safe, relaxed, and right at home. I care for pets with a calm, attentive approach, whether they’re in my home or their own familiar space. In my home, I create a peaceful, balanced environment with consistent routines, cozy spaces to relax, and plenty of gentle attention so pets feel safe and comfortable. I’m mindful of their individual needs, energy levels, and preferences, making sure they have the right mix of activity and rest. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their usual routine to help them feel secure and at ease. I respect your space, follow all care instructions closely, and provide dependable, loving companionship while you’re away. My goal in both settings is to create a steady, comforting experience where pets feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for.
“Heaven was great at watching our 4 cats and 2 dogs in our home while we spent a week in Florida! It was our first try at using Rover to book someone to watch our pets in our home and we are very pleased. Heaven stayed in touch with us during our trip to ask question and provide updates and took great care of our pets and house. We will be using her again on future trips.”

Waynesville pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had Cassidy scheduled for three nights but a family emergency arose. Cassidy was able to cover a few extra nights and was so gracious when we accidentally double-booked a morning walk. She also sent regular updates, cute photos, and our dog seemed happy. She also left the house very clean and orderly.
