“Taylor was great! She provided the perfect environment for my dog to be comfortable and at ease. She communicated with me freely and timely and sent lots of pictures of my dog having fun. He looked so relaxed! Taylor really worked with me and my crazy schedule and was very sweet. I highly recommend Taylor for boarding your pets!”

“If I could give 100 stars, I would!! We are new to town and needed a safe, loving place for our dog to stay during the PCS madness. We read Ricks reviews, and thank God we did. Our little pup got a vacation of her own. Thank you so much to Rick. We are so glad we met him!!!”

“Johanna thank you so much for taking care of the little one. I was very relieved to see that she stayed so calm with you and that she behaved. I know she’s a little spoiled (at least with me) but the fact that you took such amazing care of her was just phenomenal. Thank you so much for the amazing way you took care of Luna”

“The sweetest person in the world with dogs, takes care of them, good cares, you can see that she does everything with love. Very communicative, worried and understanding. I hope that when I need someone to take care of my babies again, she will be available. 🥰”

“Absolutely the best!! Left our chihuahua Bandit with McKenzie for 6 nights. McKenzie gave me daily pictures and updates on Bandit. He adjusted well in her home and became besties with one of her fur babies. She has a nice large fenced in yard so he got plenty of exercise & kept safe. Bandit is a spoiled baby & McKensie definitely treated him as if was her own baby. I couldn’t have asked for more. If I need a sitter for my baby again it will definitely be McKenzie.”

“Adria & her husband were SO amazing! Our babies were taken care of as if they were their own & that’s truly all we could ask for! Adria sent me numerous update pics during their time there. She told me a lot about their behaviors & interactions during the time they were there which meant the world, as this was our first experience leaving them in the care of someone else. Overall, they had a wonderful time & they will be back. 10/10 recommend booking Adria!”

“I loved all the updates and photos I received! He was more than accommodating and did a wonderful job taking care of my kitten! I will definitely be using him in the future!”

“Brittany and Nicholas are the absolute best! Molly was extremely well taken care of, had the time of her life, and hardly wanted to leave! They give excellent updates with pictures and videos at all times and made sure that we could be gone with no worries at all”

“Emilio loved Madison’s home. He had an amazing time with her family and beautiful fur babies. He absolutely did not want to leave the next morning. I will definitely be booking again!”

About: Hi! I'm an experienced animal caregiver with over three years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, as well as livestock. Working with a variety of animals has taught me how important patience, consistency, and careful observation are when it comes to providing excellent care. I pay close attention to each animal's behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines so I can quickly notice when something seems different or needs attention. Caring for animals is a daily part of my life. Every day I care for my own animals, so I am used to maintaining feeding schedules, monitoring health and behavior, and making sure animals are safe and comfortable. Because animal care is already a priority in my routine, I can easily incorporate visits, walks, playtime, and check-ins for clients' pets throughout the week. I enjoy building trust with animals and providing reliable care that helps owners feel at ease while they're away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I follow all feeding instructions, ensure fresh water is always available, provide exercise and playtime, clean litter boxes or pick up waste, and give plenty of attention and companionship. I also closely monitor each pet's behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I communicate regularly with owners through updates and photos. If caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe, clean, and supervised environment where pets receive individualized attention, exercise, and affection. I make sure they have a comfortable space to rest and follow any specific instructions provided by their owners regarding feeding, medications, routines, or special needs.
“Sabrina took such great care of my pup! She gave him plenty of exercise and sent me pictures throughout his stay which assured me that he was in great care. He had a blast with Sabrina and her dogs! I highly recommend Sabrina if you’d like your pup to be in a safe, fun, and caring environment while you’re away! 5 stars!”

“So thankful for Lexy! I came into town to visit and our hotel didn’t allow pets. I messaged Lexy and was able to book same day! I appreciate her for taking care of my sweet Joe and being so flexible! She gave me updates, and I felt great about leaving my baby with her. If I ever come back, I’d definitely book with her again.”

“Markie tried so hard to make Sadie comfortable. However, Sadie just isn't herself when she's not with us, her owners. She's very timid around people she does not know. Markie followed all my instructions and was very good to Sadie, walking her and allowing her some space. Markie was very good at keeping in touch and sending pictures I recommend her services!”

“Karen is outstanding and welcoming! Very lovely and safe farm for the dogs to enjoy during their time away. We set up and meet and greet the day before and everyone got along and bonded like instant best friends. Extremely kind and compassionate giving updates and photos of the fur babies having fun. Onsa was sad to leave after 4 days. We can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend using Karen’s home for pet sitting. We will only use her with entrusted care for our dog.”
About: My experience with animals is over 15 years. From walking/ feeding and watering/ playing fetch/ to giving medicine when needed. Your babies from young to old are given the best in my care. I'm a stay at home mom so I have plenty of time to care for your babies! The town I live is small and quiet so your pup should be extra cozy here. I have a cozy shaded (with plenty of room to move about) pen where your pup will stay when I'm not supervising them in the big fenced yard or talking walks.
“Haley was amazing! Our dog had a great time and came home calm and happy. Haley had great communication and sent so many wonderful pictures and videos. We felt very comfortable with the experience and would not hesitate to leave our baby with her again 😊”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for all kinds of dogs—big and small, puppies, adults, and seniors. Every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one comfortable and happy. While I'm not a certified trainer, I have the patience and consistency to reinforce basic commands and good leash manners when requested. Safety is always my top priority, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and respect I would give my own. I'm dependable, friendly, and committed to providing a positive experience for both you and your pet. Whether your dog loves long walks, needs a slower pace, or just enjoys extra attention and affection, I'll make sure they receive the care they deserve. Right now, I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day, every day, which allows me to accommodate a variety of walking times and last-minute requests. Once the school year begins, I'll be substitute teaching in the local school district. My availability will become a bit less flexible from day to day, but I'll still be available for dog walks and pet care outside of school hours, on days I'm not substituting, and on weekends. I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. I understand that every pet has its own routine, personality, and needs, and I do my best to keep them comfortable by following their normal schedule as closely as possible. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or in a client's home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, fresh water, and any specific care instructions provided by their owner. I have an 8-year-old Husky who has been part of our family since he was just 2 months old. He's truly another member of our family, and that's how I believe pets should be treated. For the past two years, we've also cared for a family friend's dog almost every weekend. She requires daily medication, and I make sure she receives each dose exactly as prescribed. That experience has reinforced the importance of consistency, patience, and paying close attention to each pet's individual needs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“Kiera took amazing care of our two cats while we were away over Christmas! She was so responsive and kind, and really went above and beyond to make sure our kitties had everything they needed.”

“Cheyenne was absolutely amazing! She took great care of my boy and was great at communicating with me! When we had to cut our trip short she even gave us a refund for the visits we didn't need her to do. Definitely recommend her for all your pet sitting needs!!! Thanks so much Cheyenne!!!!!!”

“Taylor provided exceptional pet care from start to finish. She treated my pets with warmth and patience, and it meant so much that she was able to get my senior dog to play , something she rarely does with new people. Taylor followed all instructions flawlessly, communicated consistently, arrived on time, and kept me updated with plenty of photos and notes about their routines. I’m very grateful she accepted the request and would confidently book her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. That job was in-house care with my dog and all that included all that comes with it, feeding, playing and much more. Please let me know if I can be the one to help you! I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch. I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!
About: I got my first puppy this year. Zoey is a 4lb yorkie! I potty trained her, and taught her many tricks! She gets tired fairly quickly, so I would love if another dog could tag along! I work a lot, but would love to walk your dogs on my off time! I unfortunately do not have a set schedule so it is hard to book super far in advance I currently live on post. With the warm weather coming in I’m ready to start my walks! We can stay home and play or go on walks!

“Molly is our go-to sitter! Typically, she works with our golden retriever puppy but this weekend she loved on our cat, Jake. She sent so many pictures and an informational update. Molly was also kind enough to take out our trash during her visit. She always goes above and beyond when caring for our pets and home!”

“Brianna was an amazing last minute book! She came to my house for an emergency meet and greet of my 4 large dogs so I could book her the same day as I had to leave state! 10/10 would definitely recommend this wonderful lady to come watch your pets!”
“Melody is an amazing pet sitter!! She took great care of our kitty while we were away on vacation. She sent us videos, pictures and frequent updates. It was comforting to know everything was taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Melody to anyone with a pet sitting need!!”

“Elizabeth has been SO incredible with my dog and is so easy to work with. I travel frequently for business and knowing that she is taking care of my baby while I am gone is so comforting. She sends me updates while I am gone and works with my schedule in order to make sure that my pup is well cared for. I would highly suggest her! ”

Miss Otis ( the pug) has been loving her new home with me and my girlfriend I been looking into getting into dog caring more. Recently I been dog sitting for friends and a relatives friends. About: I grew up in a family where animals weren’t just pets—they were part of our daily life and the heartbeat of our home. Over the years, we cared for everything from cats and dogs to horses, cattle, and chickens. There has never been a moment in my life without at least one dog or cat by my side. That lifelong connection turned into a genuine passion for animal care. Because of that, I’m working toward opening my own boarding facility—one that will not only care for family pets, but will also take in strays and rescues who need a safe place to land. Using this app is my first step in that journey. I’m here to: build meaningful relationships with pets and their owners gain hands-on experience with a variety of animals and personalities earn supplemental income to invest directly into the boarding and rescue facility establish a future client base built on trust, reliability, and genuine care Your pets will be treated like they’re part of my family—because caring for animals is something I’ve done my entire life, and something I take pride in doing well. Pet care is a major part of my everyday life. I recently left my full-time job so I could dedicate myself fully to working with animals and building my future boarding and rescue facility. That means I’m able to structure my days entirely around pet care — not squeeze it in between shifts or treat it like a side task. Every week, my schedule is centered on drop-ins, walks, feedings, playtime, and enrichment. I set aside dedicated time each day specifically for pet visits, check-ins, updates, and keeping each pet’s routine consistent. Because this is my full focus now, I’m able to be flexible, reliable, and fully present with every animal I care for. Whether it’s a single visit or multiple pets throughout the week, your pet becomes part of my daily rhythm — and they’ll always get calm, attentive, and consistent care. How I Care for Pets in My Home and in Clients’ Homes My goal is always to keep pets safe, comfortable, and on the same routine they’re used to. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, I make sure they get calm, consistent attention and all the essentials they need. In Your Home: When I’m caring for pets in their own environment, I follow your instructions exactly so their routine stays steady. Here’s what you can expect: • Fresh food and water on your preferred schedule • Clean litter boxes or outdoor potty breaks • Daily enrichment, playtime, and companionship • Respect for your home, your space, and your pet’s boundaries • Clear communication and photo updates every visit • Extra patience for shy, anxious, or rescue pets • Medication or special care needs handled as instructed I make sure everything stays clean, calm, and familiar — which helps pets feel secure while you’re away. In My Home (if applicable): In my home, pets get a safe, supervised environment with plenty of love and structure. They receive: • A quiet, calm space to relax • Regular feeding times and fresh water • Enrichment toys, cozy bedding, and comfortable hangout spots • Supervised play and attention based on their personality • Respect for crate routines or safe spaces if they prefer them I keep their environment low-stress and easy to settle into. Overall Care Approach: No matter where your pet is staying, I treat them like one of my own — with patience, consistency, and the kind of care that prioritizes their comfort and happiness. I tailor my approach to each pet’s personality, energy level, and needs so they feel understood and well cared for.
About: I have had pets my entire life and leaving them for longer than I'm used to is so hard. I've been with dogs that are hours old and I've been with dogs in their final moments. I do work 8.5 hour shifts 3-4 days a week. So while I couldnt care for them while I am at work before/after and and on my days off I am more than available. I require a meet and greet for new clients just so I know where all of thier stuff is and so the pets meet me with thier owners for the first time and it is less stressful. I can crate animals take them for walks, take them out in the backyard. Anything to burn energy before being left home alone again.

That experience has reinforced the importance of consistency, patience, and paying close attention to each pet's individual needs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.
About: I have taken care of pets since I was 12. Family, friends and neighbors have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets I currently work full time, but I am able to walk or let your pets out at lunch or after work. I have a flexible schedule. I unfortunately at this time do not have a fenced in yard so I would be unable to watch your pet at my house. I am however able to work with you.
“Molly was super sweet and an amazing communicator! This is our first time using this app and I’m more than impressed. She even sent us photos of our puppy while she had him in a walk and enjoying himself! We will definitely keep booking with you, thank you!”

Could offer 3-5 potty breaks a day along with evening playtime along with walks! I have 2 fur babies that are very friendly and always up for play dates! “Melissa was prompt and communicative. It was clear our dog loved her and their walk together. Melissa followed our feeding schedule too, which was appreciated. We cannot recommend her enough!!”

About: As an avid animal lover with six years of experience working with dogs—including those who are sick, injured, scared, or have been abused—I can accommodate any special requests to ensure your dog's comfort and happiness. My home is a safe, smoke, drug, and alcohol-free environment where your dog will feel loved and secure. Big or small, every dog is welcome! I aim to make your dog excited for every visit. Consider me to be your dog's home away from home! Early Morning (6-8 AM): I start the day with potty breaks and individual or group walks based on compatibility and needs. Provide fresh water and food according to each dog’s specific dietary plan. Late Morning (10 AM-12 PM): Engage in playtime, which could include fetch, puzzle toys, or simply supervised free play in a secure area followed by supervised outside time. Afternoon (2-4 PM): Quiet time for rest or individual attention like grooming, brushing, or cuddles. This helps reduce anxiety and provides a calm environment. Evening (6-8 PM): Dinner service, followed by a final walk to allow for potty breaks before bedtime. * Night (9-10 PM): Final check to ensure all dogs are comfortable, have access to water, and are securely settled for the night. Address any late-night needs like anxiety or discomfort. My top priority is creating a safe, fun, and comfortable environment for every dog in my care. Each day includes structured playtime, regular walks, and plenty of opportunities for socialization, tailored to their individual energy levels and personalities. I provide nutritious meals, fresh water, and cozy resting spots to ensure their physical needs are met. Most importantly, I offer constant attention, affection, and a watchful eye to make sure each dog feels secure, loved, and right at home during their stay.

“If I could give 100 stars, I would!! We are new to town and needed a safe, loving place for our dog to stay during the PCS madness. We read Ricks reviews, and thank God we did. Our little pup got a vacation of her own. Thank you so much to Rick. We are so glad we met him!!!”
