About: I grew up on a working farm with working dogs and have had dogs my entire life. I currently love and manage a pack of 4 dogs in my home. 1 Great Pyrenees, 1 Pyrador, and 2 GP cross pups. They are my world! I co-owned my own reptile and exotic LLC for 5 years, KC Cresties (dissolved due to divorce). So I’m comfortable and experienced coming in to care for your scaly friends, sugar gliders, chinchillas, ferrets, prairie dogs, opossums, or whatever other cool friend(s) you have. Large snakes, monitors, and Iguanas are ok! My family successfully rehabbed 2 baby raccoons that lost their mom and returned them to the wild when it was time. That was an adventure I don’t recommend to the average person but an experience I would repeat. The day they left and never came home was filled with joy and sadness that we were very fortunate to be a part of. My kiddos have cats too that I love dearly, so they’ve been in my home, but they moved out with their humans. I get to go see them regularly and they always have biscuits for me when I come visit. There’s very few animals I don’t have experience with and no animals I don’t love. Big dogs and working dogs are no problem. Trouble with leash pulling? No problem, we’ll work on that. Got a hyper jumper? It’s ok, I’ve got a solid foundation. Puppies? No sweat, I’ll clean up any mess while I’m there. Or bring your puppy here for the day for help with housebreaking! I bring my own treats and poop bags, so please let me know if your animal is on a special diet or has any allergies so I can provide an appropriate treat. I’ll as for specifics for reptiles and exotics. Lastly, you can count me as a former HR professional surrounding school aged children based organizations. I left HR to pursue a career with animals and have recently enrolled to begin my Vet Tech training. Animals have always been my passion. I’m currently doing online schooling at my own pace so my schedule is structured around yours! I do work in a vet clinic twice a week, but my husband covers for me in that event. Let me know if you would like to schedule a free meet and great. I’ll treat your pets and your home with the same love and respect I treat my own. Pets are a big part of our lives and they are our family. In my home. Dog care: Feeding time is 6am and 6pm (unless otherwise requested). We add scrambled eggs to our morning kibble and homemade dog food to our evening kibble. Homemade food is made from liver, ground turkey, and veggies. Slow cooked all day. Every dog has their own food dish and 3 giant water bowls are available from 6am to 8pm. Water is picked up overnight for housebreaking purposes. Training circles are 3 times per day. One morning, one afternoon, and one evening. I have a well stocked variety of treats, so your pups dietary preferences can be honored. Each dog is walked separately. Our Alpha Belle alerts us when it’s walk time for everyone. This helps teach your pup to alert you! Our dogs like to sit and wait their turn on the porch, weather permitting. But we will also take someone out on their own when needed. Our dogs are all current on vaccinations and take heart-worm and flea preventive through our vet’s office. Records can be provided upon request. Cat sitting can be provided on the other half of the house divided by a sturdy metal baby gate. Cats will be provided with toys and separate meal dishes according to your feeding instructions. Litter will be changed daily. Small animals and Exotic care: for most exotics leaving the home is very stressful and recommended care is in your home. However there are exceptions to this rule. We can discuss your unique needs and what is most appropriate for your pets health and well being. Some animals in small habitats don’t mind staying somewhere new as long as they’re safe in their world. Transportable habitats are welcome.
“Linda is wonderful!!!! She is friendly, communicates promptly and is very accommodating. She very much loves fur babies and took great care of my three pooches. I will Definitely request for Linda to care for my babies next time I head to KC for the day.”

“Jennifer was FANTASTIC with my French Bulldogs! I worry about them with their breathing issues and voiced that during our meet and greet. She took it very seriously and made sure my boys didn’t overdo it, but still had a blast. She is quick with communication. She is very very nice and easy to get alone with. We have found our new dog sitter as long as she’ll put up with us!”

“This is the first time our golden retriever has stayed anywhere without us so we were a little nervous. I think Ellie had a a great time. She was happy and tired when she got home. She looked to be having fun in the pictures Katie sent. Katie and her husband were so friendly and welcoming I won’t hesitate to use them again.”

About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. I am on Rover because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. My schedule is flexible and would allow me ample time throughout the day to assist others with their pets. My husband and I have very flexible work schedules that allow us to work from home most, if not all, of the week. We love going for walks with the dogs and playing with them in our fenced in backyard. As mentioned above, we have a fenced in backyard. We also have a large crate available if you prefer to have your dog crates for part of its stay. Thanks for taking your time to read about me! Hopefully, you’ll allow me to help you with your pet(s)!
“Ana was so understanding about us not being able to show up with our dog and communicated the whole way through! Thank you Ana, even though we couldn’t make it to have you watch our puppy!!”

“Our dog Rubi loved Elaine! I messaged Elaine the day before we needed care for our dog and she was so prompt to respond and ready to help us. She took great care of Rubi and sent us a picture and updates. Her backyard is perfect for dogs to run and play in and her house is calming and quiet. We will deffinetly think of Elaine again if we need care for our dog.”

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles and exotics all my life; big, small, young and old. I've covered it all from potty training to arthritic care. I admit I don’t have much experience with birds and insects but I am happy to help if I can! My love for animals has led me to becoming a wildlife biologist, but my past includes years of working in doggy daycares, vet clinics, and even animal control. I am honest and dependable, with happy pets at home, able to welcome short term guests from 1 family. We can go over details in person or over the phone, but I will aim to keep your routine as much as possible and keep you updated on your pet! I am currently working full time, remote, with occasional 4 hour breaks from home for field work. We have a small fenced in yard but enjoy walking a minimum of 3 15 min walks a day, longer depending on the weather! I have one large breed sweet lazy girl dog, and one wild and rambunctious but good natured male. And one independent, playful, and gentle king of the castle-a cat. All of which are spoiled and well cared for. I have a spare cozy guest room, and am easily able to crate one or two dogs with their kennel provided and even a feline if all from the same family!
“I can't thank Griffin enough for taking care of my dog on such short notice. They were incredibly accommodating and provided excellent care. Highly recommended!"”

“Billie gives such kind, loving care to Ginger. She makes adorably decorated little jars of home made treats for special holidays and is a wonderful caregiver to our senior dog. Her own dog is an easy going older fella himself, and they ignore each other companionable. 😄”
About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.

“Great communications (several check ins, including picture) to let me know my mini goldendoodle Enzo was settling in with the other dogs and doing well during his first day. Enzo was calm and confident when I picked him up - indicating it was a good experience for him too :) Thanks!”

“Joy has watched rocket a few times now but this was the longest stay yet! I am so grateful that she was able to watch rocket and show her so much love. It is a lot easier leaving her knowing she is getting so much love and attention from Joy!”
“Ryan was fantastic! My boys really struggle in the summertime due to the heat. He took that seriously and made sure to only have them outside for brief potty breaks. The boys had fun making new friends at daycare! He made sure they stayed cool and hydrated! As a helicopter mom I really worry about my fur babies, so I really appreciated that he sent videos throughout their visit to show me they were doing fine and having a great time! He spent time with them as well! My boys were in good hands with Ryan!”
