About: We've been caring for pets since we were both about 5 years old, with Gary's grandparents owning a farm & ranch in Montana growing up. Karen's family bred poodles since she was born. We're good at training puppies, and adult dogs as well. We love playing fetch much of the day with our Tilly and will do what your pet loves as well! We've cared for HUGE birds, tiny birds, chickens, cats, dogs large and small, rabbits, cattle, horses and pigs. We have also administered various types of medicine and cared for different types of infections, teaching owners as well. We love to snuggle with them and give them lots of attention! I, Karen, am used to cooking holistic meals for our dog and will care for your pet according to your instructions as well. We enjoy walking them, swimming with them and petting them often. They deserve it! They rely on us for their WHOLE well-being. Consistency is so important for animals so we will respect and follow the plans you lay out for them. We can also gather mail, water plants, do housekeeping, organization, gardening and more. Gary is a great handyman should the need arise during a sit. He maintains our pool and irrigation systems and makes any repairs needed. We're truly a great team!❤️ This is our sole work so available most of the time! Of course it depends on the type of care you need and if it works along with another sit. For example, we could walk your dog daily and have an overnight sit that allows for a short leave for that. We are very attentive, loving and kind! Our goldendoodle Tilly is on a nice schedule for exercise, eating, supplements and only healthy treats. We keep her clean and always look her over for any wounds and whatnot. We keep a clean home with uplifting music for pets. Also, we're very cognizant of pet signals, like needing to go potty, play, snack, snuggle and wanting general attention. It's one of those things that you get blessed by for just BEING a blessing to them!💛

About: Hi there! I’m karsyn, a devoted and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of caring for furry, feathered, and even scaly family members. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or just some extra TLC while you’re away, I treat every pet like my own — with love, patience, and a watchful eye. From high-energy pups to senior cats with special needs, I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and breeds. I’m comfortable with administering medications, handling multiple pets, and keeping routines consistent to reduce stress for both pets and their people. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Let’s make tails wag and whiskers purr — I’d love to meet your pet! Hi, I’m a loving wife and a mom, with a huge heart for animals and plenty of time to give them the care they deserve. While I’m currently unable to work a traditional job, I’m excited to offer pet sitting as a way to stay active, connected, and surrounded by the furry companions I adore. With open availability and a calm, nurturing presence, I provide a safe, peaceful environment for your pets — whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’d love to be your go-to sitter and give your pets all the love and attention they need while you’re away! I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, and I take pride in providing loving, attentive, and personalized care right in the comfort of their own home. I know that pets feel safest and happiest when they’re in their familiar environment, so I go above and beyond to keep their routines consistent and their stress levels low. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, administering medication, or simply offering companionship, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs and personality. I pay close attention to their behavior, energy levels, and habits so I can quickly spot if anything seems off and communicate with you right away. I also treat every home with the utmost respect — keeping things tidy, secure, and leaving everything just as I found it (or better!). I know how important trust is when inviting someone into your home, and I always strive to earn and maintain that trust with professionalism, reliability, and warmth. With open availability, clear communication, and a genuine love for animals, I’m here to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for until you return.

Kailey watched 2 of our dogs at home for a long weekend. She is responsive, respectful, and kind. Kailey asked plenty of questions to make sure she could meet our expectations. House was kept tidy and Kailey was thoughtful to put the linens in the laundry room and clean the poop in the yard. I came home later than expected and Kailey offered to come back for a potty break. Girls seemed calm and content when I got home. Grateful for Kailey!

About: I've been around animals my whole life. I've house-sat for my aunts and close family friends watching their multiple dogs for many days at a time. I grew up knowing a breeder and helping with puppies as well. I work a part-time job, so I only work about 3-4 days a week. And I am a full-time college student but all online so it makes my schedule very flexible. I have 3 dogs in my household that I take care of with my mom every day. I love taking them for walks when it is cool enough outside. I know I will be able to treat other pets the same as my own with kindness, love, and affection.

About: I’ve owned a small poodle for 10 years and have extensive experience dog sitting for both small and large breeds. I’m an athlete who loves staying active, so I’m perfect for energetic pups and long walks. I also have professional training in correctional settings, which means I’m observant, patient, and very safety-focused. I treat every dog like family and prioritize consistency, structure, and love I currently work part time as a server and am on the path to graduate with my masters by the end of next year. I love pet sitting because it is a way for me to get out and be active. My house has a backyard with a doggie door and I really take into consideration the personality of the dog when planning my day. Some dogs like to chill and some like to go for runs or hikes, so I am adjustable to their schedules and preferences.

Shannon had her hands full with my Aussie. He is a full blown herder and more vocal than your average husky. Additionally, Ozzy was recovering from a cold and antibiotics were making him feel yucky. Shannon was incredibly resourceful and worked with me to find solutions to help my fur baby feel comfortable and safe despite his mom being far away for a whole week. I sincerely appreciated her dedication!

This was our first time using rover. What a great experience. Cris was wonderful. She stayed two nights with our two dogs at our house. She sent lots of updates this made my anxiety about being away from my babies go away. She is better at getting pictures of my dogs then I ever have been. She went above and beyond with caring for them. She left the house spotless. We where greatful she took the booking considering it was less then 6 hours notice. Thank you so much for everything Cris we look forward to having you watch our babies again.

About: Hello! I am your friendly neighborhood, and self-proclaimed, animal/pet lover! I have taken care of farm animal(s)/domestic pet(s) of all shapes, sizes, ages, genders, colors, temperaments and breeds over the course of twenty years. The majority include but are not limited to reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, birds, chickens, horses, cats, and dogs. I have a deep passion to care for and look after your animal(s)/pet(s) just like I would my own! I am happy to conduct walks, feedings, playtimes and of course belly rubs! I am not a certified or licensed groomer but am happy to bathe your animal/pet upon request. Lastly, please do not hesitate to ask for any customized/personalized requests/accommodations! I am employed full-time and working a hybrid schedule where I work from home two days a week. My husband is self-employed and works from home 100% of the time. Therefore, either my husband or I would always be home to care for your animal/pet! Our home has a fenced in yard and a large built-in dog door to allow your animal/pet free access to our yard 24/7. We have two large, friendly, and goofy dogs who can keep your animal/pet company/entertained while you are away. The dog door is located in our laundry room where a door can be shut if you prefer their ins/outs to be monitored. We have the ability to separate your/our animal/pet should you prefer that instead as we can be flexible and will work with you as best as we can!

FAQs for House Sitting - Reymert

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 946 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Reymert. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Reymert walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Reymert maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Reymert choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Reymert. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
