Terry was great with my puppy! He communicated well to keep me updated on how the walks were going, and it seemed like my puppy really liked him. He was prompt with his walks, and he seemed to truly enjoy interacting with my dog. I will definitely use him again! Also, he takes fantastic pictures! I have some adorable puppy glamour shots from him :D

About: I love pets of all kinds. I have two dogs of my own & puppy raise for a guide dog school. I have fostered and volunteered for both rescues and shelters so I get experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. I also have experience with cat & kitten fosters. I have experience with training and dogs with medical conditions requiring treatment. I’m comfortable with dogs that pull, have leash reactivity, anxiety, and large strong breeds(but I love to help your smaller critters too.) I can’t wait to make friends with your pets. Pet care is my primary job. I am able to be present in your home with your pets for sittings but I do sometimes leave for other walks if I have other services scheduled. For walks I use two points of attachment to both my wrist and leash belt to help keep dogs extra secure. I have a LOT of experience walking multiple dogs at once and extremely strong dogs as well. I am very careful when entering the home to place my foot in first and block any escape artists. I have never had a pet escape. My yard is secured with a large brick wall. I have two friendly dogs that are used to all breeds from our foster experience. I also have experience and space to keep your pet in a separated area if your pet would rather not play with others.

About: Hi there! I’m reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to making sure your pet feels secure and happy in your absence. I have a very flexible schedule. I’m committed to providing the best care for your pet, and my schedule ensures I can give them the attention they deserve without any time constraints. When caring for my own pets or others' in their home, I prioritize comfort, routine, and attention to detail. I make sure pets feel at ease by sticking to their usual routine, whether it’s feeding times, walks, or play. I also provide plenty of affection, ensuring they don’t feel lonely, and I’m always mindful of their individual needs, reading their body language as well to not make them uncomfortable. About: I’ve had pets growing up and as an adult. I absolutely love pets. My pets are my children and I treat everyone’s pets with all the same love and care! Love walks, playing fetch in a secure area. I personally won’t go to dog parks, too many bad experiences. I’m a fan of puzzle enrichment (snuffle mats, lick mats, sniff puzzles and more) … I’m excited to be apart of giving the best care to your pups! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I can get away for walks or check ins. I can even work from the clients home. Follow all instructions for feeding, house rules, medications. Love and snuggle the pup as much as it wants. Play and go for walks for exercise. Treat them like family!

About: With nearly 9 years of hands-on pet care experience, I provide loving, attentive, and routine-based care for both dogs and cats! I have cared for pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs-including administering medications, post-surgery support, and special diets. I take time to build trust with each pet at their pace, especially those who are shy, anxious, or new to a caregiver/walker. I am calm in emergencies and proactive with communication-whether that meant safely rushing a dog to the vet in an emergency or nursing my rescue cat back to health after temporary blindness. Pet parents trust me for my reliability, detailed updates, and genuine love for animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness always comes first! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I’m currently taking a break from teaching elementary school this year to focus on other passions, which allows me to be fully present and flexible for the pets I care for. I have the time and availability to maintain consistent routines, accommodate midday, walks, extended visits, and last-minute needs, and give each pet the attention they deserve. Caring for animals has always been a meaningful part of my life, and this season allows me to prioritize it fully. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any household preferences. I take time to build trust with each pet, move at their comfort level and provide calm, loving attention – especially for pets that may feel anxious when their owners are away. I keep homes clean and secure, provide regular updates with photos and notes, and always prioritize safety. My goal is for pets to feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed in their own environment, and for owners to feel complete peace of mind while they’re away.

Cris is an angel of a person, radiating positivity and care! She walked my three dogs every day for nearly two weeks and was absolutely exceptional. Her communication was outstanding—she kept me informed of every detail, ensuring I always knew how my pups were doing. What truly sets her apart is her awareness and caution. She was incredibly mindful of the environment, actively avoiding areas where off-leash dogs were roaming to keep mine safe. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and has the biggest heart. I am astounded by her level of care and attention. She went above and beyond in every way, and I trust her completely with my dogs. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets like her own, look no further. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
