“June did a terrific job taking care of our goldendoodle. She played with him every day, gave him multiple walks, and helped him assimilate with the other dogs. It was as if he was part of her family. I really appreciated her daily updates and photos. I never had to worry about how things were going.”

“Camille and her family were great! Our pup was loved and played with. They sent pictures and said everything went well. They were even okay with keeping him an extra 30 minutes. We would use them as our sitters again!”

“Marianne did such a good job with our dog Blue. He was with her for 9 days and we got pictures and updates every day. She took such great care of him and made sure we didn't feel any stress about leaving him. She even did a meet and greet before hand so we could meet her and Blue could meet her dogs. This helped so much to know that he would be safe and happy. We will definitely book with Marianne again!!”

“Megan took excellent care of my 2 doggos! She communicated well and their home was as described in the profile. Plenty of space and the pups were happy upon returning. Thank you!”

“Shaedyn was amazing! Charlie was happy, healthy, fed, and entertained. She sent great photos of their adventures and we will absolutely be contacting her in the future for more stays. Thanks a lot!”

“Jaylin and her husband watched over our two Corgis for nearly a week. Our inbound travels got delayed and they were flexible when we had to drop off a day later than originally planned. We received updates several times and they even bathed the dogs after they jumped into the baby pool for some water play. We really appreciate the good care!”

“Lisa and her husband were such good sitters for my dog! She sent photo updates every morning and evening, and I just knew my dog was being well taken care of. You can tell how much she loves animals, and without a doubt she’ll treat your pet as one of her own. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be coming back for future stays!”

“Marilee was so good with Maverick. He came back so happy. She was super easy and flexible to work with. She also sent photos showing us that Maverick was doing great! Will for sure be booking with her again in the future.”

About: Dog owners/breeders/trainers for decades. We have had many dogs in our home as we have bread many litters and have sent wonderful puppies all over the United States in Canada. We have trained our dogs who have won prizes in obedience shows. Our family and kids love animals and we have a fun space with a large yard and fenced area. Our dogs also love to play in the pond. Because of flexible work schedules either my wife, or I will be home almost all the time with your dog. Dogs are welcome in our home through a weekend or a weekday on any time that we have scheduled on the calendar. We have a fenced play area, a fenced kennel area. A heated dog shed. In our home, we have three different crate sizes. And we welcome dogs to join our family throughout the house. Our dog Clover is super friendly and inviting of other animals.
“Charmaine was wonderful with our 2 dogs! She gave us updates everyday and sent pictures about how they were doing. The dogs also got along so well with her dog and they were very happy and content while we were away. We will absolutely be booking again with her in the future! :)”

“Kortni was phenomenal with my senior dog, Mamut. She treated her with so much love and care and kept me updated with pics and news. Mamut has gotten a bit more anxious as she has aged and Kortni was very understanding and compassionate for my ole gal. Thank you Kortni! I appreciate you so much!”

“Debbie and Randy are absolutely fantastic! They took such great care of Oakley. Awesome communication, and lots of fun pictures during her stay. I will definitely use them again.”

“My puppy, Finn, had a great time with Becky and her dogs. He needed to be around other dogs to play with and learn from, which he did with Becky. She was great in sending photos and videos of him with her dogs. I've never seen Finn so happy. Becky has a wonderful back yard for dogs--secure, grassy and large to accommodate running. He misses them already.”

“Samantha did such an amazing job taking care of our dog on short notice. She kept me up to date on how he was the entire time he was in her care. We were so relieved to have found such a caring gal to watch over our guy while on vacation. It was awesome. I will definitely be back”

“I left Vito for 4 nights with Alexandra. She was a great host and keep me updated throughout Vito's stay. Vito seemed very happy and relaxed. She deeply cared about Vito and took great care of him. I'm very happy with Alexandra's job watching Vito. She lives super close my house which makes it very convenient. I'll continue to book her as long as she is available. Thank you so much Alexandra for taking good care of Vito while I was in Vegas!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rexburg
Antoinette and her husband were amazing with our dog, Milo. He is super shy, but they were so patient, gentle, and kind with him. They sent lots of sweet pictures, and I could tell he felt really comfortable and relaxed in their home, which means so much to me. They were both so caring and attentive. I would definitely trust them to watch him again.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
