“June and her family knocked it out of the park! They were very kind to our two boys, and met each of their needs very well. Our lab was run well and tired(which is hard to accomplish haha) and our little guy was well taken care of and very happy. She sent lots of pictures and her communication was great. Can’t ask for anything more than this, 5 stars and if I’m in the area again I’ll send my pups to June and her family any day. June thank you again, Ben”

“Camile and her family were great with our dog. Knowing he was getting loved and played with made us feel so much better about leaving him. We could tell by the pictures and videos she would send that he was well taken care of and was enjoying his time with them.”

“Our dog loved it at her house! It’s the perfect set up and her dogs were very friendly and playful! She regularly gave me updates throughout the day and we would definitely board here again!”

“Jaylin was so easy to work with. She sent pictures regularly and made me feel at ease leaving my pups for a week. It’s apparent that she really loves animals and loves to care for them!”

“Lisa and Brad were fantastic! I was so anxious leaving my little pup and they made me feel at ease :) Many photos and videos were sent to me and I was able to enjoy my vacation without stressing over my dog. I will most definitely be booking with them again!!”

“Megan was so awesome! She provided updates and photos the whole time she was watching my doggo. My dog came home happy and tired from playing! Definitely a safe & happy place for your doggo to stay!”

About: I have taken care of large and small animals my entire life. I have experience in training and wound care if necessary. If your dog is social and you are interested I can bring along my Golden Retriever to get out all the zoomies. I’m currently working part time from home giving me a lot of flexibility to assist your pet whenever suits your needs. You make the schedule, I’ll stick to it :) I am happy to play fetch, walk, or run with your dog at your home or around the neighborhood. I am open to multiple dog households as well.
“Marilee was so good with Maverick. He came back so happy. She was super easy and flexible to work with. She also sent photos showing us that Maverick was doing great! Will for sure be booking with her again in the future.”

About: There is a special place in my heart for rescues and senior pets, I also think anyone who doesn’t love animals need some serious help. I am willing to do literally anything your pet needs, I will lay my life down for your pet, I am not kidding. I’m a college student, so my schedule is pretty free in the afternoon. I can make any time work for the most part. Anything your pet needs, I’ll do💅 I can’t have animals in my apartment for longer than two weeks, but short term I can! I am also more than willing to go to your animal’s house and care for them there! As long as you give me the instructions to keep your animal happy, I’m at your service!

“My puppy stayed with them for 10 days. I was worried because my golden retriever can’t get along with other dogs, so I was glad they did not have other dogs and only take one dog at a time. They have two small children who were very friendly to my puppy. My puppy just followed their children the whole time. I received several pictures everyday along with texts on how she’s doing. I’m so glad to find them. I hope they continue to host my puppy. Gives me a great peace of mind when I have to travel.”

“Megan stepped in to care for our two dogs with very little notice when we had an emergency. She took wonderful care of them and responded in a very timely manner when we contacted her during the week. She sent some cute pictures too!!”

“Eliza was great! Easy to communicate with and friendly. I ended up extending Blu’s stay an extra night due to travel changes and she was gracious to accommodate. Would use her again.”

About: Had dogs my whole life. Mines a coward and we'd need to check that he gets along with yours first, he'll get bullied if I'm not careful, the poor thing I stay home all day and spend as much of my time as possible outside. Your dog may come back muddy though, the messier you get the more fun you had and all! I am home all day with eyes/ears on the pets nearly constantly. I also spend so much time in environments that encourage explorative play and will keep most dogs too busy to get bored and act out in the first place. If a pet did act out, there's more than enough space in my place to separate animals and allow them to decompress. If at your place, mine is kennel trained for the same idea.
About: I grew up taking care of the family dog and love them so much. I watch my mom’s dog frequently and my neighbor’s dog. I have three little kids and we love to play with the dogs, give them treats and taking them on walks. I am currently a stay at home mom with three little kids and we love taking care of dogs. We can easily give them food, play with them and take them on walks throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with a park nearby to play fetch at. My kids and I can play with your dog inside and or outside to make sure your dog gets all the cuddles and play time he/she needs.
“William was great to work with as a sitter. He responded quickly to my request and helped adjust dates as needed. We set up a meet and greet and met him and his family and their dog. They were great!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sugar City
Antoinette and her husband were amazing with our dog, Milo. He is super shy, but they were so patient, gentle, and kind with him. They sent lots of sweet pictures, and I could tell he felt really comfortable and relaxed in their home, which means so much to me. They were both so caring and attentive. I would definitely trust them to watch him again.

- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
