“June and her family were wonderful! They made our little Hank feel right at home, took him on walks, out to the dog park and share regular updates and videos. Will certainly work with June again and fully recommend she and her family.”

“We had the BEST experience with Camile and Aaron. She sent so many pictures and videos, which I absolutely loved and really put me at ease. Milo is normally very shy, but from the very beginning he was completely comfortable with her and her family. He usually doesn’t eat much when he’s being watched by someone else, but he ate all of his food twice a day the entire time, which says everything about how happy and comfortable he was. I could tell he was truly cared for and loved. I was honestly worried he wouldn’t want to come home with me after!! Such an amazing experience and I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Marianne was an amazing dog sitter, and we couldn’t recommend her more. We really appreciated that she has a designated dog area with extra-large kennels, which allowed her to keep dogs together when appropriate but also separate when needed. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing Teton was in a safe, well-organized environment. Marianne was also incredibly accommodating to Teton’s specific needs. He was injured during our trip and required medication, and she had no problem helping administer it. She handled everything calmly and confidently and took excellent care of him, which we were so grateful for. It’s clear that Marianne truly understands dogs and knows what she’s doing. She’s attentive, experienced, and genuinely cares about the animals she watches. We felt completely comfortable leaving Teton in her care and would absolutely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend Marianne to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate dog sitter!”

“Megan (and her family) were awesome with my dog, Diesel. He is an older chocolate lab with some special needs, yet she was very happy to accommodate him. We did a "trial" night before his actual stay and even though Diesel snipped at her own dog, she was still willing to take him! I've left him at dog kennels or with other people before, but I've never been as satisfied with his care before now. Megan sent me pictures and a little report during the three days I was gone which was very much appreciated. You won't find a better person to care for your dog (or cats if she does them) than Megan!! She definitely knows what she's doing!! Thank you, Megan! Emily”

“Jaylin was amazing! She loved on my pup as much as I do, sent pictures and videos, and sent updates. While we were on vacation he had a fun vacation too with Jaylin :) Will be using her again.”

“Lisa and Brad were fantastic! I was so anxious leaving my little pup and they made me feel at ease :) Many photos and videos were sent to me and I was able to enjoy my vacation without stressing over my dog. I will most definitely be booking with them again!!”

About: There is a special place in my heart for rescues and senior pets, I also think anyone who doesn’t love animals needs some serious help. I’m willing to do anything I can to make your pet more comfortable! I’m a college student, so my schedule is pretty free in the afternoon. I can make any time work for the most part. Anything your pet needs, I’ll do💅 I can’t have animals in my apartment for longer than three weeks, but short term I can! I am also more than willing to go to your animal’s house and care for them there! As long as you give me the instructions to keep your animal happy, I’m at your service!
“Becky was amazing - it’s obvious she’s a dog lover. Our good balls were well taken care of and got along great with her dogs. Will definitely be using Becky’s dog sitting services again. ?”
“Marilee went above and beyond for our dog, Georgia. This was my first time using Rover and we needed a sitter who would board Georgia for 1 night. Georgia is 7 and can be a bit of a handful. Marilee made sure Georgia got along with her dogs before I left which was great! She took Georgia on walks and sent me photos every few hours. Marilee has a big beautiful home with a fenced backyard. I would 100% book Marilee again if we need a sitter again.”
“Sev loves staying with Brad and "family". He comes home very chill and stress free, which hasn't always been the case....until we met Brad. These people are exceptional care givers for your dog! Thank you!!”

“My puppy stayed with them for 10 days. I was worried because my golden retriever can’t get along with other dogs, so I was glad they did not have other dogs and only take one dog at a time. They have two small children who were very friendly to my puppy. My puppy just followed their children the whole time. I received several pictures everyday along with texts on how she’s doing. I’m so glad to find them. I hope they continue to host my puppy. Gives me a great peace of mind when I have to travel.”

“Kortni was phenomenal with my senior dog, Mamut. She treated her with so much love and care and kept me updated with pics and news. Mamut has gotten a bit more anxious as she has aged and Kortni was very understanding and compassionate for my ole gal. Thank you Kortni! I appreciate you so much!”

About: Dog owners/breeders/trainers for decades. We have had many dogs in our home as we have bread many litters and have sent wonderful puppies all over the United States in Canada. We have trained our dogs who have won prizes in obedience shows. Our family and kids love animals and we have a fun space with a large yard and fenced area. Our dogs also love to play in the pond. Because of flexible work schedules either my wife, or I will be home almost all the time with your dog. Dogs are welcome in our home through a weekend or a weekday on any time that we have scheduled on the calendar. We have a fenced play area, a fenced kennel area. A heated dog shed. In our home, we have three different crate sizes. And we welcome dogs to join our family throughout the house. Our dog Clover is super friendly and inviting of other animals.
“We had not used Eliza's services before but the meet & greet with her dog (& chickens) went well so we booked with her. Eliza's update gave us peace of mind that Macy was settling in nicely & when we picked her up, she was excited to see us but not too crazy like she couldn't wait to leave. She clearly was not stressed in Eliza's home despite it being a bit of a long stay. Would definitely recommend Eliza.”

About: Caring for dogs has been part of my life for many years. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have personally cared for, trained, and worked with my own dogs over the years. I understand their behavior, emotions, routines, and how important it is for them to feel safe, calm, and loved. I live on peaceful acreage with space for dogs to explore, play, and relax away from the stress and noise of crowded boarding facilities. Since I spend a lot of time at home working on the property and in the garden, dogs receive plenty of attention, supervision, outdoor time, and companionship throughout the day. I’m naturally very attentive and observant, and because of my medical background, I pay close attention to changes in behavior, eating, energy, comfort, and overall wellbeing. I truly treat animals like family and want owners to feel confident and at peace while their pets are in my care. Pet care is already part of my daily life. I spend most of my time at home on our property, so pets get plenty of attention, outdoor time, supervision, and a calm environment throughout the day. I take care of pets at home every day. I have my own cats and dog, so I’m used to feeding, walking and playing with them. I have a fenced yard where dogs can run and have freedom and outdoor time. If needed, they can also be in a crate.
“We are so pleased so get updates and to see that our girl was happy playing and eating well. It was a great experience and we feel confident she will do great here of we need it again.”
About: As a pet owner and a huge pet lover, I have learned firsthand how important it is to have someone that you can trust with your furry family members while you are away. If you need someone to check on your pets on short notice, take care of them and give them companionship while you are away, or just exercise them during your long days at the office, I would love to help. I work from home so I have a very open and flexible shedule, this allows me to adapt my schedule to accomodate whatever you pet care needs may be. Attention to your pets safety is of utmost importance to me. I would love to meet with you and go over any special needs that your pet may require.

Antoinette and her husband were amazing with our dog, Milo. He is super shy, but they were so patient, gentle, and kind with him. They sent lots of sweet pictures, and I could tell he felt really comfortable and relaxed in their home, which means so much to me. They were both so caring and attentive. I would definitely trust them to watch him again.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
