“Annalina did a great job following instructions and spoiling my cats! They looked super well when we got back from our trip and she sent us lots of pictures, keeping us updated on how our fur babies were doing!”

“Tori is so sweet and took great care of our dogs! The photos and updates put us at such ease. Our littlest one is shy and Tori helped her feel more confident to come around and engage. Our bigger dog loves Tori and took to her right away! Thank you, Tori, for excellent care and I’d recommend you to anyone!”

“Kaitlin is very communicative and was willing to go above and beyond for our pups. This is the second time she’s watched them, and they love her. Even our skittish doodle who is typically scarred of everyone including people she’s met multiple times warmed back up to her quickly. We will certainly request Kaitlin to care for our puppers again in the future. ❤️”

About: I’ve grown up with 3 dogs my whole life. My aunt owned a dog kennel so every summer I’ve helped out and did whatever was needed of me! I work from 8-5pm on weekdays, but I can do anytime after that. Message me and we will work out a good schedule for both of us! I’m a college student so I don’t have any pets here, but in my hometown I would take my dogs on daily walks and just love playing with them!

About: About Me: I believe pets thrive best when they can stay in their own comfortable, familiar environment. As a fellow pet parent raising a puppy, I understand firsthand the level of love, dedication, and patience required to keep our fur babies happy and safe. I specialize exclusively in in-home care offering house sitting, drop-in visits, and neighborhood dog walks. This ensures your pet gets 100% of my focused attention right where they feel most secure. I treat every home I visit with the utmost respect, care, and cleanliness. Why Choose Me? Puppy Tested Patience: Raising a puppy means I am highly experienced with high energy, regular potty schedules, leash training, and positive reinforcement. Flexible Care Options: Whether you need a midday neighborhood walk, a quick drop-in check-up, or overnight care, I adapt completely to your pet's needs. Stress-Free Routines: By visiting your pet at home, they get to keep their exact eating, playing, and sleeping schedule completely uninterrupted. Constant Updates: You will receive sweet daily photo updates and texts so you always know your baby is happy and having fun. Loving Companionship: From active outdoor exercise to cozy couch cuddles, your pet will be treated like a loved member of my own family. As a puppy parent, my entire daily routine is already built around pet care, consistent schedules, and frequent breaks. Because I offer in-home services like house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks, I structure my days specifically around my clients' needs. I dedicate mornings and late afternoons for active neighborhood walks and drop-ins, ensuring your pet gets their midday relief and exercise right on time. For overnight house sitting, my schedule allows me to settle into your home, providing dedicated evening companionship, bedtime snuggles, and morning routines just like you do. Safety and trust are my absolute highest priorities when entering your home. Before our first booking, I always require a Meet & Greet to learn your pet’s unique personality, triggers, and household rules. When caring for your pet in their own environment, I do a quick safety sweep to ensure no loose hazards or toxic items are within reach. I practice absolute respect for your property by double-checking locks, secure fencing, and keeping your space clean. During walks, I use a secure leash hold, remain highly alert to our surroundings, and never let your pet off-leash or near strange dogs. You will receive real-time photo updates and text check-ins after every single visit so you have total peace of mind.
“Kaitlynn was amazing! I had a last minute medical appointment down in SLC, and needed a dog sitter. Kaitlynn was super flexible with times. My dogs absolutely adored her. Ginny is more independent than most dogs, and she got Ginny cuddles!! I will definitely book her the next time I need a dog sitter!”

About: I worked at Yellowstone Bear World for 5 years with all kinds of animals! I grew up with dogs, cats, ducks, and more! I have always been surrounded with pets and currently we have 4 cats and had 2 older dogs that have since passed!! I have taken care of my siblings animals and am comfortable with all sizes and kinds of pets! I grew up in Rexburg, and am currently a college student at BYUI! So I will have plenty of time to give your pets lots of love and care in between and after classes! Since I’ve grown up with animals, I have been tasked with taking care of our neighbors pets and my older siblings pets! Dog-walks, playing, and so much more! I’ll keep them company and make sure they are comfortable, safe, and having fun!
About: I've worked in veterinary care for two years all the way from basic boarding and grooming to assisting veterinarians, handling basic medical procedures, and recovery. I'm currently a full time student. So once class is out I am free for the rest of the day and I can convince myself that homework is easy enough to shuffle around. I have two years of experience working with dogs in an animal hospital. Completely comfortable working with all shapes and sizes. I'll take care of your dog like they were my own
About: I love animals (although you probably gathered that since I’m on Rover)! Animals are my passion, which has led me to work towards a degree in Wildlife Management at BYUI. I would love any opportunity I can get to care for and play with your pets, especially since I’m unable to have my own while at school. My main experience is with dogs! I’ve taken care of my family’s dogs (3) for 7+ years, and they have a special place in my heart. I also have cared for my previous neighbors dogs and horses on a regular basis. I know how to handle multiple issues, including illness, aggressive behavior, fear and anxiety, etc. While I didn’t grow up with cats, it’s doesn’t mean I don’t love them too! I’m happy to provide them with all of the love and care they need. On a side note, Rover does take 20% of your payment so I’m not actually earning everything you pay. If you think I did a good job at the end of my services and you are willing and able, any extra tips are appreciated (but not at all expected)! I’m a university student, but typically have gaps in between classes. I would be able to care for your pets before, after, and in between my classes if you are close to campus. I own a car, so for pet sitting if you live farther away from campus that is not a problem. Just know that depending on the distance my check-ins may not be as frequent. I would be able to check in regularly (if home-sitting), as well as give your dog/cat the attention they need. If walking, I know how to engage and work with dogs, which comes in handy when encountering other animals. I’ll make sure to give them plenty of love!

About: I grew up with a border collie golden retriever mix and walked him when he was only 1 year old and I was only 6. From 6 inches tall to 3 feet, I can handle it all. I’m currently in school, working part time, and competing in ballroom dance- but I make sure to save time for my furry friends, what I love most! I will care for your pets with respect to your wishes and privacy- making sure to hand out lots of pets before I leave, of course!
“Emily did a wonderful job taking care of Loki while we were away. She was very attentive and went above and beyond, spending extra time playing with him and keeping him company. We really appreciated the updates and knowing Loki was in great hands. We would absolutely recommend Emily!”

About: I have taken care of large and small animals my entire life. I have experience in training and wound care if necessary. If your dog is social and you are interested I can bring along my Golden Retriever to get out all the zoomies. I’m currently working part time from home giving me a lot of flexibility to assist your pet whenever suits your needs. You make the schedule, I’ll stick to it :) I am happy to play fetch, walk, or run with your dog at your home or around the neighborhood. I am open to multiple dog households as well.
About: I’ve had many different animals throughout my life, from big and little dogs, to cats, and even reptiles! I’ve always been able to get along with them great, and have helped care for our neighbors dog a couple times a year! I’m familiar will many tell’s and signs for what they might want or need, and I’ll do pretty much anything for any pet! I am looking for a lot of work!! I have an open schedule and just want to help you and work hard! I am looking for 20-30 hours a week, and my hours are flexible! I have spent a lot of time learning how to be patient and how to work with animals with love! My family dog was trained almost fully by me and we have a great relationship! I like to be able to create a relationship with your pet and be able to work together!
About: I’ve loved and cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities since I was 10! I’m known for being reliable, attentive, and calm with animals. I am especially attuned to those that are more shy or anxious. I make sure to adapt to each pet’s needs, whether that’s active play or quiet companionship. I’m confident when following detailed feeding, medication, and care instructions. I always prioritize making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for! 🐶❤️ I’m currently in school part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care! I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and sitting throughout most of the week and weekends. I’m reliable with timing and can stick to your pet’s routine. In my home, I create a calm and safe environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I make sure pets have space to relax and adjust, and I can separate animals if needed to keep everyone comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of pets my whole life. They make me so happy! I’ll respect your rules and treat your animal like it’s my own! I currently work in the morning, so taking care of animals is something I would have more time doing in the afternoon or evenings! I’m super flexible! Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
