Hello! My name is Taryn, I’m 29, and after years of traveling I’ve officially settled down in Idaho with my husband. I moved out west about eight years ago to live a more adventurous, outdoorsy life—and I’m so happy to call this place home. I grew up in a family that bred Catahoulas, so I’ve been around dogs since I was five years old. I have experience with nursing puppies, leash training, and showing dogs in coon hunting, hogging, and obedience events. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My husband and I currently have two dogs: • Blu Moon – a 6-year-old Catahoula and my loyal sidekick • Kiana – our almost 3-year-old Husky/Malamute with the sweetest personality While I can’t add any more fur babies to our home right now, I’d love to help care for yours—whether that’s walks, drop-ins, adventures, or park play. When caring for pets—whether in my home or in my client’s home—I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise needs, and any special instructions. I provide regular walks, mental stimulation, snuggles, and playtime while keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout the day.

Taryn is awesome! She was able to watch our kitties over Christmas last minute and she sent so many photo updates of cleaning and kitties! Highly recommend Taryn!
Taryn had timely communication and took great care of my dog as well as a friend's dog while we explored Steamboat Springs. The dogs were tired and happy when we came to pick them up. Would definitely seek Taryn out for a future visit to the area!

Taryn is wonderful. Lily is still working through some socialization issues since her rescue. This was her first time staying in someone else's home. Taryn arranged an initial dog meet up and kept me current on how Lily was doing throughout the weekend. She came home a very tired and happy dog. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
Pet care is naturally built into my daily routine. Between caring for my two dogs and working with client pets, my days revolve around walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of outdoor adventures. I make sure every pet gets consistent attention, structure, and affection throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening cuddle time, pet care is a steady part of my lifestyle.
