“So I was a total wreck about leaving my dog for her first stay on Rover. I paced. I worried. I probably sent 10 "is she okay?" texts within five minutes of dropping off. Turns out, all that extra anxiety was a colossal waste of time. My worry immidetly evaporated after the first update Shannia sent. You cannot hide experience. Shannia and her family are so obviously knowledgeable about canine behavior. They weild a level of calm, confident know-how that only comes from years of wrangling everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. The photos! Just like the other reviews say, only more, my dog's headshots look like they belong on the cover of Vanity Fair... not my fridge. They're so ridiculously good, they're literally better than any professional photographer I've ever used. I am beyond satisfied with this experience. I will definitely be back. In fact, If I ever need to re-home my dog (which, after this, she might prefer), Shannia's family gets first dibs. She's clearly found her true calling there”

“Becky and her two dogs are wonderful! We were able to drop L-E off for the day while we went to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks to do some hiking. Becky has a big back yard for the dogs to play in. 10/10 would recommend!”

“My pups were SO happy staying with Eliza while I was at work, I dropped them off every morning for 2 weeks and they RAN to the gate to get into the yard. Eliza was easy going, flexible, and easy to get a hold of. Oh, and she took great photos of the pups. Recommend!!”

“My goodness what a sweet Angel! Taking my pup with me on the road was a scary decision, but thank God for people like you! I got photos and videos and Clarence was a happy pup when I picked him up!”

“Jaylin was so great with my dog! She took pics of him thru out the day and I could see he was actually happy! I love that he could actually be outside and enjoy himself! I didn’t worry about him at all! Highly recommend Jaylin whether it’s for a day or a week!”

“Marsi helped me out when I needed a sitter last minute and she took great care of my dogs. She even sent updates to how they were doing which I really appreciated!”

“Brad was great!! You can really tell he loves dogs! Our dog was welcomed not only by Brad, but his dogs as well. Brad has a large yard for the dogs to run and play in, and they are all welcome in the house. Our boy Kingsley was very happy when we picked him up, and we will most definitely use Brad again for our daycare needs when we visit Idaho. Thank you Brad!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 and I am now 31 years old now. I was the sole care taker for our family dog in charge of bathing, walking, feeding and playing with him every chance I got. I love all types of dogs. Whenever I see someone with a dog I always have to go over and say hi and pet there dog! My wife and I have a shitzu and I am in charge of her every need while my wife works. Every moment I spend with dogs is my favorite! My wife works from home and I take care of the house so I am always home taking care of our big yard and our fur baby. My schedule is very flexible. I know that your dog is more than a pet that they are like family and should be treated as such. I play with the dogs. Always make sure that they are fed and have water as well as go outside and play fetch on the 5 acres of land with them. I enjoy giving them belly rubs and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I know that visiting a strangers house may be scary for your dogs the first time they come over. That's why I make sure to meet there needs so that they are full and comfortable and will feel happy with us.

About: I've had lots of experience caring for dogs, helping with training and breeding dogs in the past. And now I frequently pet-sit for all our friends! I currently work at home, and my kids are homeschooled, so many helping hands to take care of and love your puppy dogs to their hearts content! I have a big fenced-in yard, plenty of room for your doggos to get their wiggles out :) I've also got a sweetheart of a dog, and she'll be their playmate till the end of time!

“Jamie took wonderful care of of 7 month old puppy. We will definitely utilize her again for future doggy daycare.”

“Can’t say enough about Santana and her fam..treats my boy like their own!! Absolutely wonderful!”

“Jessica and her family were really great! They responded to our last minute request to watch our little dachshund, and sent us photos throughout the day updating us on how she was doing. Coco (our dachshund) is normally very shy and nervous with new people, but once they started petting her and cuddling with her, she was comfortable! We would recommend Jessica to watch your pets👏🏼”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I also used to run a small rescue in the state of Utah. I am acquainted with all dogs in any shape or size. I have experience with dogs with disabilities. I am currently not working so I am free pretty much all of the time. I currently have a zoo of dogs and cats that are friendly to humans and other animals! I have a fenced in yard and other non-aggressive animals. I am home all day so your pets will rarely be left alone in the house.

“Gabrielle was amazing to work with! She responded quickly and was flexible when unexpected events came up. Our dog loved being there!”

About: New to rover 🐾 I’ve loved animals since I was a child. I love cooking food for my dogs and making home made treats when I get a chance. I believe in letting pets feel at home by sleeping on furniture and getting spoiled with lots of love. I am certified as a vet assistant and pet cpr certified as well. I promise to care for your pet as I care for my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom to a little boy! So, I have plenty of time to take your fur babies on walks, show them some love and attention, play fetch, and can let them outside to play or have bathroom breaks all throughout the day. I have two dogs of my own that are very friendly with other dogs so your pet will have some furry friends to keep them company (unless you prefer to keep them separate). I have crates for when needed or if your pet is crate trained. I have a fenced back yard with plenty of space to play and run. I will gladly take pictures of your pet throughout the day to update you if you wanted. I like knowing my pets get treated with lots of love when being watched by others, so my goal is to deliver the same comfort knowing your pet is in good hands in my home.

“Responsive and very patient! Would recommend to other people!”

About: I grew up on a ranch and have experience taking care of all different kinds of animals and love doing it! I have fostered dogs in my home and I have taken numerous shelter dogs on “day dates” for a break from the shelter. I would love to watch your furry family members when needed and give them love and attention while you are away. I stay at home during the summer, allowing me to do drop in visits, walks, or daycare. I rarely go out of town, making me dependable and reliable when you’re in need now and for familiarity on future visits! I know how to care for dogs and will listen to all of your instructions of when you would like them fed, brushed, and played with. All pets must be kid friendly, as my kids will accompany me on visits to help give your pets the best care possible! Absolutely no aggressive dogs.

“Sam is so good with dogs! He's watched both my sister's and mom's dogs for them when they've been out of town. My sister's dog is hard of hearing and missing one leg. Sam treats her so well. He's a very gentle and kind person. I would trust him with any dog, especially those with special needs.”

We had an amazing experience with Qiara M as our dog sitter! Despite her busy schedule, she found time to fit us in and was incredibly accommodating. Our dog, Apollo, was so well cared for and came back home a happy boy! Qiara kept us updated throughout, which gave us great peace of mind. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals, and knowing she’s training to be a veterinarian made us feel even more confident leaving Apollo with her. Highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!
