“Lori was very attentive to our puppy’s visit . He can be a handful be she managed him very well. She kept us posted bd it was much appreciated. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I had dog walk for number of years and had work seasonally at a pet company before. I am confident I can take care of your dog while you ar away. It is going to be a part time gig for me, I can do most evenings and weekends; During weekday, I can start my services after 6pm and anytime at weekend. I will do my best to ensure I follow your instruction and provide on time updates of your dog and most importantly the pet will have my full attention during my services.

“I left my two elderly kitties with Anna for 10 days over the holidays. She has two small dogs but assured me she would keep them separated as long as necessary. They are on a pretty strict medication schedule, and I've had sitters in the past not adhere to it, and it shows. My cat has severe food allergies and if he doesn't take his medication regularly it's very obvious. My cats came back looking better than ever! She was communicative, sent pictures, and assured me they were doing well regularly. I would definitely recommend Anna!”

“Samantha is absolutely wonderful - my dog Lola was comfortable, happy, and clearly had a great time! Samantha was very communicative and sent great photos of Lola throughout the stay. I recommend Samantha for any of your pet-sitting needs!!”

“Larry took excellent care of our dog while we were away for the weekend. He was extremely professional and made sure to ask questions to ensure our dog was as comfortable as possible. We received updates during our time away on how our little guy was doing. We were extremely satisfied with our experience and will definitely keep Larry in mind for our next trip!”

“Margie was all I could ask for and more! Our dog, Blaze, had a wonderful time. I got pictures and updates for the entire stay and they made Blaze feel right at home. Thanks so much, Margie! We will definitely be visiting again.”

“Debbie was great! We left our 1st time boarder w/ her very last minute when our weekend getaway informed us they no longer allow dogs. I was SUPER anxious to leave her, especially w/ a "stranger", but Debbie sent me lots of updates & pictures to ease my mind. By the time we picked her up, her tail was wagging, her ears were up & she was visibly relaxed & happy. Debbie also has a great, fenced-in side yard for the pups to run around in. We will be trusting here again to watch Molly.”

“Christopher was great and came through for us for a quick weekend. Communication was great before, during, and after our dog’s stay with him. At drop off, he showed us around a bit, and explained how and where he was planning on playing with our dog. We talked about his feeding schedule, and he assured me that my dog would be fine. During the weekend, I got several pics and videos of my dog playing with Christopher. Not overbearing, but enough to show me that my pup was being cared for. At pickup, Chelsea was there, as Christopher had to work. She had our dog’s belongings ready to go, and said she and Christopher really enjoyed hanging out and playing (and snuggling) with our dog. This was our first experience with Rover, and I would say that I would certainly have Christopher and Chelsea care for our dog again.”

“Jessica is the best. My dog is 14 years old and set in his ways, Jessica was great with him. Sent me pics and kept me updated on all phases of the day. Would recommend her to anyone. Very friendly and responsive. Looking forward to my next vacation and will definitely be requesting her. Jessica, Thank you for taking such good care of Dusty.”

“John was awesome!!! To start, John was very accommodating, and was able to care for my dog, Griffin on short notice. John sent beautiful pictures so I could see how my boy was doing, and the pictures actually showed my dog engaged and happy, going on walks, playing in the yard, and sitting on the couch relaxing. John was very understanding about my dog's accidents and learned Griff's potty needs. John even bought Griff a halloween neck scarf and let him greet trick-or-treaters, something my dog truly enjoys doing with me. John treated Griff like he was his own and created a home away from home. I trusted John with precious cargo, and he took great care. Will definitely request his help again!”

“We are so glad our friends recommended Jennifer. Being away for a week from our baby we knew that he would be well loved and cared for, plus Jennifer sent pictures and updates regularly. We had peace of mind being away for a week, knowing Pico was in capable loving hands.”

“Chelsea went above & beyond for us. First she agreed to take on our senior dog for an extended stay on relatively short notice. The petsitter who’d agreed to take him backed out when she heard he had a cough, even though it wasn’t kennel cough. She didn’t blink an eye at the fact that he needed small meals 6 times a day due to the medications he was taking. She understood my directions (and it was complicated!). He never has accidents at home but I know he’s had a tendency towards him when boarded & that didn’t phase Chelsea either. Of course she also shared photos of him. You won’t regret leaving your dog with Chelsea, no matter their age (our dog is 15).”

“Fantastic experience leaving our puppy with Emmaly. She has a great fenced in yard and Frances spent the whole visit playing with her dog. It was a great experience and we'll definitely be leaving Frances with Emmaly in the future!”

About: I have taken care of all different types of pets since I was young. I’m very comfortable administering medication to those who need it, playing with the young energetic animals, and being sensitive to older ones who may need extra care. I currently work full-time but I am one a hybrid schedule so I am home all day on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. I usually have things to do on the weekends but with enough notice I can certainly work around that. I have one 3 year old cat who is very friendly, quiet, and a bit of a cuddle bug. He is comfortable with other dogs and cats. I have a fenced in porch and a walkable safe neighborhood.

Bryanna H.
“I have worked with Bryanna many times in the last 4 years. She comes to take care of my twelve cats while I am away and is great at following the instructions each time. Some of my cats are very shy but seem to warm up to her and come out to play or for food, which makes me so happy. She's always done a great job at making sure they are all fed and the place is clean. Two of my cats require medication treatment and she is reliable with that as well. She also used to smush up my elder cat's food to make it easier for her to eat before she passed. Can't recommend her enough!”
Rensselaer pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was so fantastic with my rotti, Kenna. She is a rescue who has been with me for 5 years, but had a few homes before, and never been away from me overnight, so I was a little nervous about leaving her. Emily was very reassuring and they got along at the initial meet and greet and I could see that Emily has a very calm demeanor that is great for an anxious doggo. While I was away she sent me daily updates with lots of pictures and let me know how my girl was doing which I definitely appreciated. I would definitely recommend Emily and trust her to watch my pup in the future.

If there were more stars that I could give Vera, I would do that!❤️ I was going on vacation for four days and needed to find a boarder and this is the first time that I have ever went away. I met and chose Vera and am sooooo glad that I did. She erased any anxiety that I had and was an AWESOME pet sitter!!!! She gives daily updates with photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing. I will definitely use her again in the future for anything.
