About: I’m a big animal lover and have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first job in high school was working at Best Friends Pet Care, where I cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments throughout my entire high school career. That experience taught me how to safely handle, feed, exercise, and care for many different types of pets. While I was in college, I continued gaining experience by working at Red Dog Pet Resort during school breaks when I came home. In addition to that, I now do pet sitting on the side and have cared for up to nine animals at once (five dogs and four cats), all with unique personalities and needs. I also grew up with two dogs and two cats of my own, who have since passed away. Having pets my whole life has made my love for animals even stronger, and I understand how important they are as members of the family. I always strive to provide safe, attentive, and loving care for every pet I look after. I work full time Monday through Thursday and am usually off around 4:30 PM on those days. I also have a hybrid schedule, so I work from home a lot of the time, which gives me additional flexibility for pet care visits during the day when my schedule allows. During the week, I’m typically available for evening visits and walks, and from Friday through Sunday I’m off, which allows me to be much more flexible and available for daytime visits, walks, and check-ins. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my main goal is to keep them relaxed, safe, and content in the place they know best. I do my best to stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—whether that includes meals at certain times, walks, playtime, or simply quiet companionship. I also ensure water bowls are kept fresh, litter boxes or potty areas stay clean, and your pet receives plenty of care and attention while you’re away.

About: I’ve owned cats and dogs over the years. My family raised kittens for years when I was in high-school. I also had a dog of my own for 15 years. I’m always the first to volunteer to care for friends and family members pets when they are out of town or need extra help walking them during the work week. I am currently pet free and miss having furry friends around! I work evenings so I have plenty of time during the day to walk pets and take them on adventures! I’m happy to house sit or keep pets overnight as well, as long as they can be left for 4-6 hours in the evening! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I have a dog park at my apartment complex, and take lots of daily walks as well. In your home, I make every effort to keep your pet on their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always treat them like one of my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. My 14-year-old son is gentle, respectful of animals, and has grown up around both dogs and cats, but all pet care and responsibility is handled by me.

“Wow! I don’t know where to begin. Toryn and her partner did an outstanding job! I have two very shy rescue cats and they tackled the task of coaching them out of their hiding spots like pros. They were even able to administer meds to one of them. The cats were having trouble before their visits began with peeing outside of the litter box and scratching carpet. Both problems disappeared under their care!! Amazing. This is my first time with Rover and I loved the Rover cards and photos. Toryn is a great writer and her notes were informative and delightful! About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I grew up believing dogs are as much of a family member as I am. They are the greatest gifts on earth and I am so passionate about the goodness dogs bring into our lives. I have recently resigned in my nanny career, I was with this family for almost six years and I am still very close with the family, including their dog, Bailey. I took care of her as much as I took care of the boys. I included her in play, prioritized her health and exercise and taught the boys the importance of loving her and how she shows the boys she loves them. Additionally, last summer, my husband and I chose to take in my family dog of 12 years as our own to help my mom while she frequently traveled. In January he was diagnosed with two terminal cancers and so I made him my highest priority. He was the happiest, most loving and brave dog through his entire battle. We lost him in April and it was one of the hardest experiences I’ve gone through. While I am not ready to adopt a dog of our own yet; that passion for dogs is still apart of me and I believe meeting and caring for other dogs will support my grieving journey. I promise to love and care for your dog(s) as my own. I promise to do what’s best for them and to let them know just how special and loved they are at each visit. I have a lot of flexibility throughout my days, I would love for this to be a part time opportunity for me to feel accomplished and share my time with wonderful dogs. My husband and I love to travel so our weekends can book quickly, but with enough advance notice I’m happy to schedule weekend visits/stays! I care for them as if they are my own. I will love on them and can train and set appropriate boundaries with the parent’s clearance. I am highly respectful - respecting my clients homes and their personal boundaries. I am a dependable communicator and a very understanding and compassionate person.

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 15 years and have always loved getting to know their unique personalities and routines. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving pets the attention, comfort, exercise, and companionship they need. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As a work-from-home mom, pet sitting fits naturally into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for visits, walks, feedings, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I love having pets as part of my routine and enjoy making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their families are away. About: I've had dogs since I was little and currently help take care of four with my parents! I've taken care of dogs big and small as well as those with mobility issues. I'm currently a therapist & I work out in Milford from 7-7 Monday & Tuesday and 7-2 Wednesday-Friday! I'd be available for dog sitting starting Friday nights and weekends, as well as Wednesday and Thursday nights if you're okay with my work schedule! I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, sick, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). (Side note: My husband goes to work during the day.I recently changed our schedule to homeschooling my 3 yr old. My 2 kids are used to me caring, playing, and walking other dogs. I have went out of the way to teach , show and guide my children to be gentle, slow approaching/no sudden movements, no chasing, be responsible, ask before petting, and to be aware around animals. I am home everyday (except 3-4hours out of the house now and then for groceries , gym, or friends farm, or kids play dates). I keep my distance from crowds, we sanitize, and wash our hands frequently. I clean the house and wipe everything all the time. We got a new Hoover carpet wash, and our dog is up to date with shots! Your pet is safe and will be treated like royalty, pampered, loved like our pup/family! I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too, if you like. Your dog/cat/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals on and off for about 34 years) …cared for puppies, adults and senior dogs such as pit bulls, Pekingese, Shih Tzu , mini pincher Dobermans ,then fostered a German Shepard, a black pup Labradors, also taken cared of a Golden Retrievers, a Pitbull, poodles, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terriers, birds, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). (Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around . I can gate, and keep my dog separate if need) Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-9 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, break, lunch, then around 3-4pm, around/after dinner time, and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/cat/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, clean, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my kids, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/cat/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them ***Off leash free to run roam inside the house ***! Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. I can help clean your dog/pet too, let us know!

About: The things that separate me from other sitters are my active lifestyle, strong communication, adaptability/ flexibility and silliness! I love to go hiking, running, swimming at the family lake, explore dog parks and other fun activities while sitting. Options are endless and will keep you posted with fun photos, videos and other messages to make sure you know your pet is safe. I do not ADD ANY STRESS. Quite the opposite. I am here to help and relieve the stress of boarding your pet. And I'm okay with being scheduled same day or same day cancellation. I understand things come up, please just try and be certious and thoughtful though with lack of communication. (Please be aware that my rates are subject to change based on my availability, commute to/from work, time spent with the dog and many other factors. Please not that I do NOT make as much as you pay, rover app takes a good chunk out of what you pay. Graituity and tips are highly encouraged if you want quality care and repeat stays/ watches. ) My rule of thumb: I aim to make about $75-$125/ day for house sitting and animal care. I am to make about $25/ hour so that would require me to spend about 4-5 hours on ruotine pet car (walks, feeding, taking out, medicine, adventures + household chores ect.) I have to factor in gas money, taxes, and rover fees so please consider that when booking. I am willing to go the extra mie and make your dog's stay a vacation and spend all day with them, I just expect to be fault comensated. Some dogs (+multiple dogs, cats ect.) require lots more attention than others. I find it very hard to work full time and pet/ house sit. As I am trying to move away from my other job and pet sit closer to full-time. I love animals but they are lots of work, as we know! Please be curtious and respectful of my time and love I show your pets. I am currently working part-time as a rideshare driver and am part-time student in grad school to get my masters in psychology. And back living at my parents house with a big yard in the basement to play in. When I am pet sitting I revolve my life around the needs of the pet and adapt my schedule to their potty breaks and eating habits. Like I said, I'm flexible and easygoing and luckily don't have too much on .y plate right now besides studying and private rides mostly at night! I have backup as well with my cousin who lives with me. Leashes all the time if they could get away or in public. I have a stand outside with a long leash for extended outside time but am usually just side-by-side the pet most of the time so they are in good eyes. Clean environment, no drugs, no partying, no garbage laying around. (I live with my parents currently in Montgomery, OH and they are on board as well as they love pets too!)
