About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I’ll take your lead as to things I need to know about what makes your dog’s personality shine.

About: Taking care of animals has always come very naturally to me! As a child I liked to run around the farm I lived on searching for kittens and petting horses. As someone who has loved and nurtured many of my own pets over the years, I naturally gravitated towards taking care of others beloved fur children. I have knowledge of different diets and have had both cats and dogs on raw diets as well as standard diets. I also have experience with senior animals, and their special needs. I started out helping friends or parents of friends when they would travel and have now found myself offering services to others and growing my business. I absolutely love pet sitting and helping families feel comfortable as they travel or are at work for the day. When I am at your home I make sure to not only nurture and love on your pets but to take care of your space. I offer daily updates if preferred and collect mail, keep things tidy, etc. I am able to give some medicine if required and enjoy the company of all ages of animals. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs but am open to taking care of smaller critters too. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet! I offer pet sitting at your home Monday-Sunday with a flexible schedule. I am available for drop ins and overnight stays. My main focus is pet sitting. When staying with your pet or even just dropping in, I can feed, play, crate, or give some meds to your pet if necessary. I am able to take walks or run around for a bit in the back yard. My goal is to always make the pet and the owner feel as comfortable as possible while maintaining a normal routine where necessary. I ask that owners leave detailed instructions so I can accommodate your animals as best as possible. I also request that any cameras in the home be notified to myself before I stay and I like to be clear that my partner may sometimes stay with me for overnights.

About: I’ve owned and loved pets for as long as I can remember! Not only have I cared for my own, but I’ve helped family, friends, neighbors, etc. with their pet needs as often as possible! I have two very active golden retrievers and an older cat at home! I’m a part time dietetic intern in St. Pete with a flexible schedule! I’m looking to connect with pet parents who need a reliable walker or sitter. Having many years of experience with my own pets (older dogs, puppies, cats) has taught me how to safely and responsibly take care of animals!

About: I have over 20yrs experience with dogs. Your family member will be very well taken care of while you are away for a day or a long weekend. I live in Rehoboth Beach, very close to the beach, we will take long or short walks on the beach whichever is preferable to you, also play time on large fenced deck and fenced courtyard. I have no pets at the moment recently had to put my baby to sleep, in the past I have had Golden Retrievers and Belguim Sheepdogs. Your pets stay will be a home from home experience. If your pet is on medicine feel assured that your directions will be followed precisely. Summer is coming, go on vacation and not worry about fido ?

About: I've grown up with dogs around me which has made me very comfortable and caring of dogs. I have experience with all ages of dogs, from puppies to seniors, and have training experience which has given me confidence in handling dogs. I have a passion for caring for animals, and have been responsible and loving of dogs since I was a kid! I am a college student home for the summer! I am flexible to meet you and your pet’s needs with open availability Monday through Sunday. I have a fenced yard for running around and play time and will also provide your dog plenty of walks as well. I have a dog who loves to play and will keep your dog company. No matter if I am caring for your pets in my home or yours, I ensure they maintain a consistent and comfortable routine.

About: I've taken care of all sizes and ages of dogs, new borns to elderly. I love their open hearts and their welcoming personalities to humans. If you also feed wildlife, I can also tend your wild life feeders for you. I am retired and have time now to do things that I love, and that is taking care of animals, in playtime, feeding, brushing, petting and taking exercise walks. I also love the wildlife we have in this area and I can take care of your bird feeder to other wildlife feeders you may have. Safety is the first rule of Pet Care! It is a big responsibility caring for someone's beloved pet and assuring their safety comes first followed by overall loving care and feeding.

About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.

About: I have taken care of dogs and puppies for both family and family friends ever since I was 16! I have done both dog walks as well as overnight stays. Your dogs comfort and well being is very important to me so I will treat them as my own! I have assisted in training a few puppies in the past so I do have a little bit of experience in that if it is a need or just something you want a little assistance with! I am currently working full time but about to switch to part- time as the fall and winter seasons approach! I am available for both overnight stays as well as either morning or evening visits or play dates. On my days off I am available for all day pet stays if that is something a client would be interested in! I prefer to care for pets within the comfort of their own home since they are already used to the environment and their surroundings! I treat the pet and clients home with the most utmost respect and care maintaining the previous state of the home.

About: If you need an overnight sitter, a walker, or just a play date for a couple hours, I’m your girl! I started pet sitting for a family I used to nanny for about 10 years ago and love caring for our families dogs. My husband and I got our own fur baby 3 years ago, a 100lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever, named Buoy. I make sure that every house I leave looks the same as it did when I enter, that includes making sure trash is taken out and dishes are out of the sink! I’ve dog sat pups from 8 weeks to 13 years and from the size of a teacup poodle to a 100 pound boxer, and I treat every one like my own. I also am very familiar with cats, my brother has 2, I love them just the same! I am working local to Lewes! My times for during the week would be before 9am and anytime after 5pm. I’m very comfortable doing overnights as well! I am currently in a 3 bedroom apartment, with my husband and our dog. We would be more than happy to allow any fur baby into our place. Our community is so pet friendly. Our dog has been living in an apartment since we got him and he has been leash trained, so I have plenty of experience with dogs on leashes including prong collars, gentle leaders, and any type of leash.
