“Christy made the visit to Bolt as planned and in fact contacted us that she could arrive earlier which worked well for our schedule. She communicated to us on how the visit went and what she did with Bolt and sent us 6 pix of him doing different things. We will be booking with her again. Gail and Mitch B”
“Rebekah was an amazing and attentive caregiver for my kitties. She made them comfortable and treated them like her own. I actually got to enjoy my vacation with very little stress and worry. I would absolutely book her again.”

“ALL the stars for Alexis! First time Rover user here and Alexis was so great. She took care of my elder kitty while we were away and she was awesome! Very communicative, very willing to help out with an extra housesitting task and she made us feel like our pet was in great hands while we were on vacation.”

About: There's never been a time in my life when I didn't have a pet - dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc. I've helped take care of friend's and neighbors pets while on vacation since I was a teenager. We recently had to say bye to our dog, Bateman, of 13 years and as much as I'd love to welcome another pet into our lives, we're just not ready yet, but we'd love to show some love to your fur babies! We have a big, fenced in backyard and we are attached to a park that's great for walks, so I'd love to see Bateman's space put to good use. My husband and I both work from home and I don't have a set schedule so I can be flexible and available throughout the day. I also take daily walks at the park attached to our neighborhood, so I'd love to have friend to take along with me for some exercise. We have a 7-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter who both love animals and will be more than happy to love on your fur babies. I used to have my own little escape artist at home, so I'm very cautious when opening doors to ensure no one gets out unless there's a fence or they're on a leash.
“Treanne did a great job caring for our babies! She updated us with pictures every day and spent quality time playing with them. She went above and beyond for us. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”

“Lennon is absolutely wonderful with our 3 children. She goes above and beyond each time and we couldn’t be happier with her service. I would highly recommend Lennon to anyone who asks. She’s amaze balls!”
“Professional and personable, are how I would describe Megan. From, our initial meeting, to the explanation of our dogs routine, and through the experience of caring for our Beagle. We had the feeling she was responsible, and is very pleasant. Our dog verified our feelings accepting Megan as a friend as soon as they met. We will not hesitate to have Megan care for Layla again.”

“Thank you for going above and beyond for Meeko (and me). We truly appreciate you helping us out. We appreciate your constant communication. We value your consideration of our home. We will most definitely use you for future bookings! From start to finish, you've been nothing but accommodating and helpful. Truly, Thank You!”

About: Hello! I have loved animals since I was a child, I grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania. As a kid, I got to see three litters of puppies be born. As an adult, I have two cats (one we found in our backyard at just a week old. I got into dog walking by accident, I was helping a lady in the community and her dog she rescued from India really liked me. She said her dog doesn’t like many people and asked if I would like to walk her some days. From then on (Dimple) and I were good friends. She was a fun companion during the day and I felt special because she took to me. I hope your dog likes me too! We live in a townhome community with great sidewalks for walking. We also have a dog park! Your pup is welcome to sleep and be wherever they feel comfortable in our house. We have 3 children who will keep your pup entertained!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all breeds and sizes, cats and small farm animals for 12 years and I have a vet assistant certification from Animal Behavioral College. Experienced with med administration, puppies, rescues, and senior dogs. I’m currently home full time - basically my daily and weekly routine is to care for my animals and garden at home. I do travel out of state occasionally to sit for friends and family I’ve worked with over the years. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your fur baby company and active. A senior Great Pyrenees and a year and a half old mixed breed that love to run around and chase each other and balls in the back yard. My cat is very used to dogs and puppy play dates, and I’m able to crate your baby if needed.
“Cheyene did a great job with our anxious pup and crazy husky! She was on time, sent great pics, and gave us feedback about how Zelda and Willow were behaving to make us feel more at ease with our first time using Rover.”

“They did a great job with my three dogs played with them in the backyard and just made them feel really happy while we were out of town. Unfortunately, our one dog has a lot of social anxiety, but they were very patient with them and did what they needed to to make him feel Special”

About: I've been providing house sitting and pet care for the past three years, caring for both dogs and cats while giving owners peace of mind when they're away. During that time, I've looked after pets of all ages, including senior animals and pets with medical needs, so I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions and maintaining their routines. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable in their own home, and I treat every home and every animal with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care so you can travel knowing your pets are in good hands. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily routine. I make time each day to provide attention, play, feeding, and care to ensure pets feel comfortable and happy. I am able to work pet care into my schedule by prioritizing consistency, communication, and making sure each pet receives the time and attention they deserve. I provide pet care with a focus on safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment. I have a cat of my own who I spend plenty of time playing with and caring for, while making sure his needs are always met. I keep my home clean, organized, and free of hazards, with anything potentially unsafe kept out of reach. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully, respect their space and belongings, and treat their home and pets with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Red Lion
We couldn’t be happier with the care Gabbie gave our three cats — Sampson, Miken, and Eddie — while we were away. She came once daily for four days, fed them, cleaned the litter box, and made sure everyone was doing well. What we appreciated most were her thoughtful daily updates and pictures of each cat. It gave us real peace of mind seeing them and knowing they were being cared for so attentively. Gabbie did a great job, and we would absolutely trust her again with our boys. Highly recommend!

Rebekah did a great job communicating with us both before and during the booking! While one of our cats is a little difficult when it comes to getting her medicine, we appreciate that Rebekah put in the effort to try. She helped keep an eye on our place as well. We would definitely book her again!

Faith was on time for our drop in visits; she asked questions when needed and answered any question(s) I had while away. She was willing to change or clean litter but was not necessary and sent many pics of my kitten. She followed my feeding instructions for my kitten and updates me on what he ate and litter "issues". I would easily use Faith again or recommend her to others.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
